WEDNESDAY

8:05 a.m., East Sonora — A Sierra Glass employee said tools were taken from company trucks parked overnight at the business on the 13600 block of Mono Way.

8:07 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman said two backpacks were stolen from Mother Lode Christian School on the 18300 block of Gardner Avenue.

8:46 a.m., Twain Harte — A man said three cords of wood valued at $1,000 were stolen from his property off Wildcat Ridge Road.

9:08 a.m., Lime Kiln Road area — A caller said two vagrants were sleeping in a big warehouse near railroad tracks near Lime Kiln Road and Campo Seco Road.

9:56 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said two transients, a man and a woman, were sleeping behind the back of a building on the 18200 block of Main Street.

11:27 a.m., Tuolumne — A Tuolumne County probation officer said he found marijuana inside a car parked on the lower parking lot at Summerville High School on the 17500 block of Tuolumne Road.

11:34 a.m., Groveland — A woman on the 19500 block of Cottonwood Road said a neighbor was outside the house threatening to shoot the woman's husband.

11:45 a.m., Groveland — After seeing an extension cord coming from a house on the 19500 block of Chaffee Circle going to a neighbor's house, the property manager called the sheriff's department to say the neighbor is stealing electricity.

12:58 p.m., East Sonora — An Albertson's manager said two women harassed and knocked an employee to the ground in front of the store.

1:15 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said all four tires and wheels were stolen off his 1987 Volkswagen Jetta parked behind a business on the 22900 block of Joaquin Gully Road. He estimated the loss at $844 for the 15-inch European-style wheels.

3:34 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said items were stolen from her vehicle parked on the 11200 block of McKibbin Drive.

4:12 p.m., East Sonora — A man on the 14500 block of Mono Way found a cash drawer with receipts inside.

5:48 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said two teens were tearing up a bathroom at Rocca Park.

5:54 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a man was at St. James Cemetery on Main Street carrying a gun.

6:34 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man on the 22000 block of Crystal Falls Drive said his cat was shot with a BB on Saturday.

6:36 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A caller said a man with a beard wearing a light-colored shirt and ripped pants was setting up a camp on the side of Chief Fuller Way. The man was cooking a dinner and had a sleeping bag by the side of the road.

6:47 p.m., Columbia area — A woman on the 11300 block of Columbia Village Drive said a man who was possibly drunk was wandering around a playground area.

8:52 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 20900 block of Shaws Flat Road said another woman at the house, who was possibly drunk, broke a glass coffee pot over the caller's head.

9:54 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller said two men, possibly related, were swinging 2-by-4s at each other in front of a house on the 18700 block of Cedar Street.

11:49 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive said when she took her dogs outside she could smell the strong odor of cigarette smoke, as if someone had just left her property.

WEDNESDAY

6:20 p.m., Soulsbyville — Bobby Joe Richardson, 30, 17200 block of Timber Drive, Soulsbyville, booked on a warrant charging him with unlawful sexual intercourse after an arrest at his house. No details were available. Richardson was released on his own recognizance.

10:39 p.m., Jamestown — Mike Ruiz Meza, 26, 18100 block of Seventh Avenue, Jamestown, booked on suspicion of burglary after an arrest at his house.

According to a sheriff's department report, a Terrace Apartment manager saw Meza on a surveillance tape, stealing women's undergarments from the apartment laundry room on the 10300 block of Preston Lane. A deputy found the undergarments at Meza's home and arrested him.

Meza remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

YESTERDAY

3:48 a.m., Mono Vista — Omar Diaz, 23, 1600 block of Los Sueos Avenue, San Jose, booked on a San Jose County warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on charges of possessing a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Diaz was arrested on Longeway Road at Mechanical Drive after a traffic stop.

Diaz was taken to the San Jose County Jail yesterday.

Justin Anthony Johnson, 24, 4200 block of Asilomar Court, Modesto, booked at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday after arrest on Highway 108 at Mono Way.

Robin Melinda Ohlsen, 30, 20000 block of Steven Court, Soulsbyville, booked at 11:41 p.m. Wednesday after arrest on Stockton Road at Green Street, Sonora.

Joshua Michael Hegel, 24, 11600 block of State Street, Columbia, booked at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday after arrest on Shaws Flat Road at Highway 49.

David Leon Winter, 69, 2500 block of Bridle Path Drive, Gilroy, booked at 1:25 a.m. yesterday after arrest on Highway 108 east of Stockton Road.

7:58 a.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in a traffic accident near the corner of Greenley Road and Mono Way.

1:14 p.m., agency assist — A Cassina High School administrator said a man had passed out on the sidewalk near the high school on Morning Star Drive.

1:19 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in a traffic accident on Morning Star Drive at Cemetery Lane.

4:15 p.m., theft — A man said a blue backpack was stolen from the seat of his vehicle while it was parked in a lot on South Stewart Street at Lyons Street.

4:42 p.m., traffic accident — There were no injuries from a traffic accident on the 800 block of Mono Way.

9:06 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman driving past Sonora Elementary School saw lights on in a bus parked in the bus lot off Greenley Road.

10:10 p.m., miscellaneous circumstances — An officer gave teens the park hours at Heaven For Kids Park on Greenley Road.

11:34 p.m., vandalism — A caller said Kragen Auto Parts on the 600 block of South Washington Street was being vandalized. An officer checked but found nothing unusual going on at the store.

11:58 p.m., vandalism — A caller said two people were hanging around a business on the 600 block of South Washington Street and the caller could hear glass breaking. An officer checked, but found nothing out of the ordinary.

9:51 a.m., Vallecito — Two people started fighting on campus at Vallecito High School.

11:53 a.m., Copperopolis — A man was sitting in his car at the intersection of O'Byrnes Ferry Road and Copper Cove Drive when a man walked up to his window, said "this is for cutting me off," and punched him in the face.

12:57 p.m., Rail Road Flat — An abandoned motorcycle with a damaged ignition was found on Summit Level Road.

1:32 p.m., Murphys — A house on the 3000 block of Murphys Grade Road was broken into. Nothing was taken, but things were damaged.

7 p.m., Copperopolis — A mountain bike was reported stolen from the front yard of a house on the 1000 block of Cheyenne Way.

10:34 p.m., Burson — A caller on the 7000 block of Cabernet was irritated by a neighbor's motion detector lights.

1:19 p.m., Copperopolis — Selfo Ramiro Alanis, 27, Coley Street, Escalon, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance after arrest on O'Byrnes Ferry Road. As of this morning he was still in custody in lieu of $50,500 bail.

9:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Orval Dale Flannery, 29, 1000 block of Ferry Road in Coulterville, booked on suspicion of felony parole violation and showing false identification to a peace officer after arrest at Utica Park. As of this morning he was still in custody in lieu of $5,000 bail.
