Maria Kindler

April 14, 1905 — Sept. 26, 2003

Maria Kindler of Arnold died Friday at a San Andreas hospital. She was 98.

She was born in Yugoslavia and lived in Wisconsin before moving to Arnold four years ago.

She was a homemaker who loved gardening, baking and needlepoint, her family said.

She is survived by her children, Sister Erica Kupeck of Germany, Ferdinand Kindler of Germantown, Wis., Maria Shira of Hubertus, Wis., and Gertrude Winn of Arnold; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton Kindler, in 1965.

Services were held yesterday. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Port Washington, Wis.

Angels Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

Ann J. Fuson

June 5, 1906 — Sept. 24, 2003

Longtime Angels Camp resident Ann J. Fuson died Wednesday at a San Andreas convalescent hospital. She was 97.

She was born in Colorado and lived in Angels Camp for 40 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Angels Camp.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fuson, in 1981.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Angels Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Altaville Protestant Cemetery.

WARD — Robert E. Ward, 84, of Groveland died yesterday at his home. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
