TUESDAY

7:28 a.m., Tuolumne — A caller said up to $1,000 worth of power tools were stolen from a water tower building on the 19500 block of Mi Wu Street.

7:39 a.m., Sonora Meadows — A man on the 21300 block of Crestview Drive said he found a teenage boy inside his vehicle. The boy ran toward Bear River Road.

8:54 a.m., Jamestown — A man on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said his vehicle was broken into and $1,700 worth of stereo equipment was stolen, along with medicine.

9:16 a.m., Columbia — A woman at the Tuolumne County Agricultural Commissioner's office, on the 22300 block of South Airport Road, said gasoline was siphoned from vehicles.

10:39 a.m., Tuolumne area — A woman on the 18000 block of Yosemite Road said a mailbox was blown up overnight and a bottle with liquid inside was found next to the box.

11:02 a.m., Jamestown — A man said his 12-gauge shotgun was stolen from his father's business about two weeks ago.

11:46 a.m., Pinecrest — A man heard someone yelling for help from a house on Highland Way. The man said when he got there, a man was working on a ladder and it had slipped out from under him.

11:58 a.m., Jamestown — A man on the 8900 block of French Flat Road said his garage was hit by paintballs overnight.

2:50 p.m., Rancho Sonora Estates — A man on the 20300 block of Walnut Drive East said the left-front tire on his father's car was slashed.

3:34 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said four men in a small blue car pulled up to her son, who was on Twain Harte Drive, shoved him to the ground and stole his wallet. The woman and her son gave deputies a description of the men and their car.

3:52 p.m., Twain Harte — A Twain Harte Market clerk said a teenage boy was inside the store causing problems. The boy was detained by employees who thought he might be under the influence of drugs.

5:09 p.m., Tuttletown — A man said a mine near Highway 49 and Mark Twain Road was vandalized and that a generator was stolen.

6:32 p.m., East Sonora — A woman on the 12000 block of Mono Way said her neighbors were stealing cable TV by using the woman's cable. When she disconnected the cable, the neighbors allegedly threatened her.

7:49 p.m., Twain Harte — A clerk at Mountain Liquors on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive said a teenage boy tried to steal liquor but that the manager of another store caught him.

10:04 p.m., Tuolumne — A Black Oak Casino security officer said a woman, possibly under the influence of something, was jumping in and out of traffic on Tuolumne Road North.

11:52 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 20400 block of Misty Lane said she woke up to find a neighbor inside her house, looking into her cupboards and calling her by his sister's name.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

6:50 a.m., Sonora — Gabriel Lee Severson, 23, 20000 block of Leland Drive, Sonora, booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit a crime after an arrest on Highway 49 near Parrotts Ferry Road.

According to the Sonora Police, a man on the 400 block of South Stewart Street said items were taken from his unlocked vehicle and that the people responsible left in an orange pickup. Officers found the truck, and after questioning the occupants and searching the truck, arrested Severson. A teen inside the truck was cited and turned over to juvenile probation.

Severson has been released on $5,000 bail.

11:38 a.m., Sonora — A 53-year-old Sonora man was booked on suspicion of four counts of child molestation after an arrest at his home. No details were available. He was held this morning in lieu of $100,000 bail.

12:55 p.m., Sonora — Brandon Keith Davis, 21, 23800 block of Leisure Drive, Twain Harte, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce of marijuana while driving. He was arrested during a traffic stop on the 10 block of South Stewart Street, was held this morning in lieu of $15,500 bail.

YESTERDAY

9:15 a.m., Jamestown — Stephen Michael Myers, 28, 18200 block of Ninth Avenue, Jamestown, booked on suspicion of possessing drugs, paraphernalia, a hypodermic needle and less than an ounce of marijuana after arrest at his home. Arrested at the same address on a Tuolumne County warrant charging him with possession of drugs for sale, possession of paraphernalia and weapons violations was Raymond Lee Engle, 33, 19700 block of Highway 108, Sonora.

No details on the arrests were available today. Myers and Engle were each held in lieu of $15,000 bail this morning.

2:08 p.m., Standard area — Thomas Michael Solis, 45, 19800 block of Highway 108, booked on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine after a probation search at his home. According to the sheriff's office, a deputy found a baggie containing a small amount of methamphetamine on Solis's bed. He was held in lieu of $10,000 this morning.

3:54 p.m., Sonora — Robert Cary Kadra, 39, 400 block of Greenley Road, Sonora, booked on a Tuolumne County warrant charging him with battery and failure to appear in court and on a Stanislaus County warrant charging him with violating probation and escape from jail. Kadra was held this morning in lieu of $50,500 bail.

8:07 p.m., Jamestown — William Joseph Bunch, 21, 21000 block of Crystal Falls Drive, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and on a Tuolumne County warrant charging him with aiding a felon after arrest on the 10700 block of Seventh Street. Bunch was held in lieu of $10,000 bail this morning.

8:30 p.m., Sonora — Frederick Floyd White, 37, 19700 block of Seco Street, Jamestown, booked on a Tuolumne County warrant charging him with fraud and with failure to appear in court on that charge after arrest at Tuolumne General Hospital. White was held without bail this morning.

11:26 p.m., Jamestown — Joseph Antone Francis, 31, no address given, booked on suspicion of drug possession after arrest on Preston Lane near Seco Street. According to the Sheriff's Office, a patrolling deputy recognized Francis, knew there were warrants out for his arrest and, during a search, found three grams of methamphetamine in a vial in his right watch pocket. Francis said he had no idea how the drugs got into his pants. He was also arrested on a Tuolumne County warrant charging him with drunken driving, driving without a license and violating probation. Francis was held without bail this morning.

TUESDAY

1:58 a.m., traffic violation — A 32-year-old man was cited and released for driving with a suspended driver's license after a traffic stop on the 300 block of South Washington Street. A caller said the man was fighting with someone else and called police.

9:25 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on the 10 block of Macomber Avenue said someone is illegally dumping concrete onto his property.

9:36 a.m., vandalism — A caller said two tires were slashed on a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Fairview Lane, and a third tire had a screw embedded in it.

12:51 p.m., animal complaints — A woman on East Jackson Street said a small white dog living on East Lyons Street barks about six hours every day.

10:23 p.m., warrant arrest — A 21-year-old woman was arrested on a Modesto Police warrant for drunken driving and driving with a suspended license after an arrest on Snell Street.

8:08 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A caller said trash was being dumped on the 2500 block of Murray Dale Lane.

8:23 a.m., Murphys — A caller reported theft and embezzlement on the 700 block of Sugar Bush Lane.

10:47 a.m., Arnold — A caller said assault and battery had occurred on the 300 block of Arnold Byway.

12:39 p.m., Copperopolis — A vehicle was broken into the 200 block of Copper Crest Drive.

12:45 p.m., Angels Camp — A caller reported a forgery on the 3000 block of Murphys Grade Road.

3:59 p.m., San Andreas —A vehicle was broken into on Gold Strike Road.

6:21 p.m., Murphys — A fight between a father and son was reported on the 4000 block of Sheep Ranch Road.

8:58 p.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 200 block of California Street reported a suspicious odor.

9:50 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 900 block of Feather Drive said a man would not leave the caller's home.

Fires

YESTERDAY

2:50 p.m., Copperopolis — The cause of a small spot fire on property owned by Cathey Cothran on the 4700 block of Jaquima Drive is under investigation. No dollar damage was reported. Responding to the fire were the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Copperopolis Fire Protection District and aircraft from the Columbia Air Attack Base.
