WEDNESDAY

9:54 p.m., New Melones Reservoir — A caller found bones on the shoreline near Stevenot Bridge. A deputy said they were deer bones.

10:24 a.m., Columbia — A woman on the 10900 block of Green Street said a man with a sword was acting strange and scaring her.

11:23 a.m., Soulsbyville — A man on the 20300 block of Sunshine Road said he received a scam e-mail requesting his help in a family. In exchange for his help he would have been given 25 percent of a $7 million account.

12:50 p.m., Standard area — A woman said her husband and another man were fighting on the 17000 block of Blue Bell East. Her husband's nose was broken and he was bruised. The other man complained of chest pains. A deputy investigated and turned the case over to the district attorney's office.

1:44 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said teens were skateboarding at Twain Harte Elementary School campus and refused to leave.

2:57 p.m., Groveland — A man said another drive swerved toward him and "flipped him off" near Wayside Park.

2:59 p.m., Rawhide Road area — A woman on the 18700 block of Shell Road said it looks like someone is living in an old bus parked on her property. A deputy found a van, but no one was around. He advised the woman to call the county's vehicle abatement office.

3:47 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman said her purse was stolen while she was at Black Oak Casino.

4:13 p.m., East Sonora — A caller said a drunken man passed out in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on the 13700 block of Mono Way and fell on his face, causing injuries.

5:04 p.m., Jamestown — A man said his vehicle was burglarized while parked at a motel on Highway 108. A drill, gas can and tool box were stolen.

7:43 p.m., Tuolumne — An emergency roadside assistance man helped unlock a car parked at Black Oak Casino, but locked it back up when the alleged owner could not pay for the work or prove the car belonged to him.

9:55 p.m., Columbia — A manager of the Columbia Inn Motel asked a man who owed more than $100 for a room to leave and he refused. A deputy got there just as the man left.

10:52 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 23100 block of Mark Twain Drive said someone, possibly driving a large truck, threw a rock through the windshield of her parked car.

10:08 a.m., Sonora — Elizabeth Louis Mann, 42, 1300 block of Clover Road, Tracy, booked on a warrant charging her with making criminal threats, battery and failing to appear in court. She turned herself in at the county jail and remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Donald Mark Goble, 39, 15100 block of Cavalieri Road, Sonora, booked at 12:43 a.m. today after arrest at Barretta and Church streets, Sonora.

12:26 p.m., traffic accident — A brown Chevy Nova was reported over a hill by a trash bin on the 400 block of Greenley Road. No one was injured.

12:31 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said a man was setting up a tent next to staff parking at Tuolumne General Hospital on the 100 block of Hospital Road.

3:06 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked on a man slumped over in wheelchair on Greenley Road.

4:05 p.m., lost property — A man on the 30 block of Elm Street said a woman who had been staying with him temporarily left with some of his belongings.

4:06 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was seen sleeping on the grass between the restrooms and creek in Woods Creek Rotary Park on the 400 block of Woods Creek Drive.

6:40 p.m., public intoxication — A man was arrested at Tuolumne General Hospital on suspicion of public intoxication.

6:44 p.m., property damage — A man on the 500 block of South Washington Street said another man ripped out the phone lines and broke the phone.

8:26 p.m., vandalism — A woman said her 2003 Ford Mustang was scratched with a key while parked Tuesday night on Dossi Way.

9:50 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked on an open gate to a playground at Sonora Elementary School on the 800 block of Greenley Road.

9:53 p.m., shoplifting — An employee at Wal-Mart on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road said a girl tried to steal items and leave the store. The 13-year-old was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting. Police said she tried to steal jewelry, razor blades, a shirt and condoms. An officer spotted her running across the parking lot, stopped her and arrested her.

8:17 a.m., San Andreas — A deputy was called to Calaveras High School when an administrator said a student was under the influence of something.

8:18 a.m., San Andreas — A Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital employee said a patient had a hypodermic needle in his possession.

3:17 p.m., Arnold — A caller on the 2200 block of Mokelumne Drive said he found a snowboard, a weapon and other items behind a house.

6:17 p.m., San Andreas — A deputy helped a frantic father find a child who ran down the driveway of his house on the 200 block of Mountain Ranch Road. The child was found nearby by a bus driver.

7 p.m., San Andreas — A caller said teens were on the roof of a house near the 300 block of Sunset Street throwing rocks. A deputy talked to the teens.

9:25 p.m., Murphys — A caller on the 500 block of Apple Blossom Drive said teens were shooting off bottle rockets and fireworks nearby.

2:55 p.m., Arnold — James Jay Gunterman, 30, 2100 block of Carlos Way, Stockton, booked on a San Joaquin County warrant charging him with felony battery after an arrest at Calaveras Big Trees State Park by a ranger. He was taken to the San Joaquin County Jail, and held on $50,000 bail.
