SUNDAY

4 p.m., Jamestown — A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vandalism at Sierra Motors on the 18400 block of Fifth Avenue. An employee said the man was banging on the doors and causing a disturbance. When employees asked him to leave, he kicked the rear door panel on a car and dented it.

4:03 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said her car was broken into and several pieces of jewelry were taken.

4:48 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A caller on the 16100 block of Big Hill Road said a man, allegedly drunk, was sitting on the ground after trying to break into cars parked nearby.

4:58 p.m., North Sonora — A man on the 6900 block of Melones Court said he found a bicycle, clothing and old coins at the end of his driveway.

6:34 p.m., Standard — A man on Hatler Drive said another man is at the house causing a disturbance.

8:07 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A caller said three men in their early 20s were walking in and out of the Mi-Wuk Post Office.

9:50 p.m., Standard area — A man on the 19900 block of Highway 108 said a woman broke into his house and pepper-sprayed him.

10:54 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said 10 people where yelling and running up and down Seventh and Ninth streets.

YESTERDAY

12:27 p.m., Sonora — Austin Lee Halladay, 24, no address given, booked on a San Bernardino County warrant charging him with felony battery and felony battery on a peace officer after arrest on the 100 block of South Washington Street, Sonora. He remained held without bail this morning.

3:05 a.m., Sonora — A 29-year-old man, 22400 block of South Airport Road, Columbia, booked on suspicion of felony child endangerment, and a 22-year-old woman, 300 block of Fairview Lane, Sonora, booked on suspicion of injuring a child. Both were arrested at Social Services on North Cedar Road, Sonora.

Tuolumne County Deputy District Attorney Dee Shepherd said this morning the two are suspected of injuring a child under the age of 2 and then delaying seeking medical treatment. Shepherd declined to comment further on the case.

The man remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail and the woman was held this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.

8:18 p.m., Sonora — Timothy Wayne Helus, 24, 100 block of Pine Street, Sonora, booked on suspicion of false imprisonment after an arrest at his home by Sonora police. According to a police report, Helus and a woman were fighting at his house and she wanted to leave, but Helus blocked the doorway and prevented her from leaving. She called 911.

Helus remained in custody this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.

9:28 a.m., theft — A woman on the 300 block of Fairview Lane said items were stolen from a locked glove box in a car.

1:22 p.m., forgery — A man said a woman was trying to cash a check at a business on Sanguinetti Road that she stole from his house.

1:51 p.m., agency assist — An unknown caller said a tree was down at the intersection of Waif Mine Road and Highway 108.

4:29 p.m., agency assist — A woman at Sonora Community Hospital said a patient was being unruly.

5:48 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said a neighbor's infant was injured.

6:11 p.m., vandalism — A woman on the 600 block of South Washington Street said someone damaged a brown sport utility vehicle.

7:23 p.m., assault — A man said his 11-year-old son was assaulted by a man in the same apartment complex on the 200 block of Greenley Road.

7:46 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on the 40 block of Oak Street said someone had "hacked and taken" lilacs from several places around town.

9:03 p.m., public intoxication — A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Signature Theatres on the 900 block of Sanguinetti Road.

9:22 p.m., traffic violation — A 16-year-old girl was cited and released on suspicion of driving without a license.

10:42 p.m., property damage — About 50 lockers were ripped off the wall at Sonora High School.

11:57 a.m., West Point — A deputy helped a Stockton police officer with a child custody problem at a house on the 20000 block of Highway 26.

1:23 p.m., Lake Camanche — A deputy helped a driver free a motor home stuck in the mud.

1:40 p.m., Valley Springs — A man was causing a disturbance at a house on the 1700 block of Crown Court.

7:17 p.m., San Andreas — A 6-year-old child was reported lost on St. Charles Street. The child was later found, uninjured.

7:25 p.m., San Andreas — A patient bit a nurse at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital.

11:25 a.m., San Andreas — Robert Gaylen Martin Jr., 31, 2900 block of Willow Creek Road, San Andreas booked on a warrant charging him with being a felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a loaded firearm in public. Martin turned himself in and remained held this morning without bail.
