6:26 a.m., Scenic Heights — Yard decorations were vandalized on the 22000 block of Ferrari Road.

6:59 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A woman on the 20400 block of Silver Dawn Drive said a rock was thrown through the windshield of her car parked at the house.

7:19 a.m., Crystal Falls — Vandals overturned an outhouse at a new home construction site on Crystal Falls Drive and Russian River Drive.

8:35 a.m., Columbia — A Columbia Elementary School employee said that over the weekend, gas caps were broken off three school vehicles and about $100 worth of gasoline was siphoned out.

10:26 a.m., East Sonora — A woman on the 14600 block of Mono Way said a man borrowed her barbecue and won't return it.

2:25 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said three men and a woman were trying to open doors in the burned area of the Twain Harte Inn.

3:09 p.m., Soulsbyville — A caller said a teenage boy with a green rifle was shooting ducks from his home on Sherry Lane.

3:38 p.m., Sonora — A vehicle parked at Stan and Jim's Body Shop on the 200 block of Stockton Road was burglarized.

4:51 p.m., Chinese Camp — A woman said her truck was burglarized while parked on Red Hills Road.

5:01 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman on the 24000 block of Golf Links Drive said a check was forged.

5:51 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man and a woman on the 21100 block of Ridgeview Drive were fighting. Both were injured, but neither wanted to press charges.

6:38 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man said a vehicle with a for-sale sign on it has been parked on Fallview Drive and Crystal Falls Drive for five days, and the vehicle has been vandalized.

7:13 p.m., Groveland — A man found a full suitcase on Forest Service Road 1S78 near Sawmill Mountain Road. He turned over the suitcase and its contents to the sheriff's department.

YESTERDAY

8 a.m., Sonora — Arizona Sheldon Holmes, 18, 15500 block of Argyle, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging him with marijuana cultivation after he turned himself in at the Tuolumne County Jail. He was released on his own recognizance yesterday.

8:30 a.m., Sonora — Lynn Eileen Dutra, 45, 15200 block of Cavalieri Road, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging her with welfare fraud, forgery and perjury after she turned herself in at the Tuolumne County Jail. She was released on her own recognizance yesterday.

Ronald Alan Brophy, 66, 16100 block of Placer Street, Jamestown, booked at 3:50 p.m. yesterday after arrest on Highway 108 at Golf Links Road, Jamestown.

Vanessa Ann Garza, 22, 30 block of West Lane, Sonora, booked at 9:55 p.m. yesterday after arrest on West Lane at Jackson Street, Sonora.

7:15 a.m., Vandalism — A woman said a driver pulled the gasoline hose out of a pump at Gold Country Gas on the 300 block of South Washington Street, then left, ignoring employees' attempts to get insurance information.

9:38 a.m., vandalism — A woman on the 100 block of South Stewart Street called to say a man kicked in her front door on Saturday.

12:10 p.m., fraudulent activities — A woman at Central California Bank on the 100 block of South Washington Street reported a check written on a closed account.

12:35 p.m., unclassified — A woman on the 800 block of Mono Way said a woman on a bicycle, saying she was broke and from the Bay Area, was asking people for money and pulling newspapers out of a machine.

4:40 p.m., warrant arrest — A 29-year-old man was arrested on warrants after officers responded to a report of six people fighting at a home on the 400 block of Greenley Road.

6:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man keeps putting up a nude picture of himself with his telephone number on it in the bathroom of a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

7:16 p.m., found property — A man reported finding a heavy suitcase filled with religious items.

8:19 p.m., burglary — A man said a window of a storage building was removed at his Peace of Mind construction business on the 100 block of Columbia Way, and several items were gone.

8:42 p.m., found property — A man found a camera with telephoto lens on Stockton Road.

10:02 p.m., public intoxication — A 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were arrested after a caller said they were urinating in a yard on the 100 block of South Shepherd Street.

10:53 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said a pumpkin with lettering on it was left in the drive-through of a fast food restaurant on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

Fires

YESTERDAY

9:20 a.m., Sonora — A vehicle fire was reported on Lime Kiln Road near Highway 108. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass. The fire was started when oil leaked and ignited. Mike Chamber of the Copperopolis area owns the vehicle. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

7:32 a.m., West Point — Graffiti was sprayed on buildings at West Point Elementary School.

8:53 a.m., Rail Road Flat — A house on the 2000 block of Prussian Hill Road was burglarized.

8:58 a.m. West Point — A fence was cut and gasoline was siphoned out of a vehicle parked at West Point Fire Department on the 100 block of Spink Road.

11:28 a.m., Arnold — A car parked in the Big Trees Shopping Center was vandalized while the owner was eating at a restaurant.

12:21 p.m., San Andreas — A caller said a man who appeared to be drunk was in front of Calaveras High School and appeared to have hit something with his hand.

1:23 p.m., West Point — A caller said tenants evicted from a house on the 600 block of Timber Lane were still there.

2:10 p.m., San Andreas — A Calaveras High School employee said a teen had marijuana at school.

2:36 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 2600 block of Huckleberry Lane said kids on bicycles were chasing a deer around the neighborhood. The deer got away.

6:04 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 3000 block of Arrowhead said several teens were arguing.

7:08 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A woman on the 8600 block of Cave City Road said a man came into her garage and threatened her husband. Her husband responded by assaulting the man.
