A deputy checked the car and found a runaway teenager. 11:32 a.m., Jamestown An employee at Chicken Ranch Bingo said the casino received a check that looked like it was forged. 12:05 p.m., North Sonora Two men were reported yelling and screaming at each other on the 11000 block of Highway 49. 12:14 a.m., Big Oak Flat A Tuolumne County road crew saw a suspicious-looking man walking on Highway 120 near Black Street, carrying a rifles. A California Highway Patrol officer handled the call. 3:54 p.m., Crystal Falls A caller said a boy whose parents would not give him the keys to a car was smashing things at a house on the 22000 block of Feather River Drive. 4 p.m., Jamestown Road area A caller said a man and a woman were fighting on Jamestown Road near Shaws Flat Road. A deputy talked with the couple, who said they were only arguing, not hitting each other. 6:59 p.m., Tuolumne A woman on the 18000 block of Pine Street said her house was broken into. 7:38 p.m., Rancho Sonora Estates A woman said two boys walking on West Walnut near Faun Court were fighting in the roadway. A deputy was unable to locate the boys. Felony bookings YESTERDAY 11 a.m., Crystal Falls A 47-year-old Crystal Falls man booked on suspicion of sexual battery and misdemeanor battery after arrest at his home. He was released after posting $50,000 bail. 11:15 a.m., Phoenix Lake area Cindy Elaine Grimaldi, 41, no address given, Sonora, booked on warrants charging her with possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, failure to appear and driving on a suspended license after arrest on the 14300 block of Expedition Drive, Sonora. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail. Sonora police reports WEDNESDAY 12:05 a.m., suspicious circumstances An officer checked on occupants of a pickup in the parking lot of the Tuolumne County Senior Center on the 500 block of Greenley Road. 12:54 a.m., suspicious circumstances An officer checked on an unoccupied vehicle on Pauline Court. 1:12 a.m., warrant arrests A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication as well as two warrants, one charging failure to appear on a public intoxication charge and another for three traffic violations. A 23-year-old man was arrested on an unspecified warrant. 8:59 a.m., burglary A woman said her car was broken into on the 300 block of Fairview Lane. A stereo, speakers and compact discs were stolen. 10:47 a.m., found property A man on the 100 block of North Washington Street said he found a loaded handgun in the bushes. 11:51 a.m., warrant arrest A 33-year-old woman was arrested on two warrants charging her with theft and failure to appear. 12:01 p.m., road hazard A caller said a brush pile on Theall Street was blocking visibility for drivers. 1:44 p.m., fight A manager at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road asked for help with an upset customer. 2:22 p.m., suspicious circumstances An officer checked on a man at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. 2:56 p.m., property damage A caller said a car window was broken behind a business on the 100 block of Washington Street. 3:43 p.m., traffic accident A non-injury crash was reported on Restano Way. 4:15 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said customers at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road were complaining about a group of kids who might have been smoking marijuana in a blue van with white curtains. 8:50 p.m., suspicious circumstances A woman said a back door was open at a business on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road. 9:53 p.m., suspicious circumstances A woman said a man approached her on the 200 block of South Washington Street and kept asking her questions and would not leave her alone. She said this is an ongoing problem. 7:53 p.m., Arnold A caller said he could hear loud screaming and yelling from some teens in a parking lot on Highway 4 and Meadowview Road.
