8:38 a.m., Soulsbyville — A Soulsbyville Elementary School employee said a paper towel had been stuffed into a door at the school's administration office, then set on fire.

9:06 a.m., Cold Springs — A woman on the 29300 block of Lassen Drive said a man will not return a cat carrier to her.

10:59 a.m., Columbia — A caller said trash had been dumped over the roadway on Italian Bar Road about a half mile from downtown Columbia.

11:36 a.m., South Sonora area — A caller said a man with a long, gray beard was dumping trash near Sullivan Creek Bridge on Lime Kiln Road.

1:36 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said a woman was screaming, yelling and threatening to kill her neighbors.

5:08 p.m., Groveland — A man said a red and white van with a satellite dish and solar panel on top was parked on a dirt road off Ferretti Road near Casa Loma Road.

9:07 p.m., Sonora area — Sonora Police and sheriff's deputies were looking for two men who allegedly burglarized a vehicle near Hospital Road and might have stolen a purse.

12:07 a.m., Jamestown — A caller said he left his car parked at a friend's house on Golf Links Road for two hours, and when he returned, the car had been scratched.

12:07 a.m., Columbia area — A man on the 21900 block of Springfield Road said a man wearing a beanie hat was messing with tires on the caller's property.

9:42 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 22800 block of Highland Drive said a house had been burglarized.

12:24 p.m., Cold Springs — A man on the 29800 block of Mariposa Drive said a woman claiming to be lost was at his doorstep.

1:21 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 21900 block of Cedar Springs Road said jewelry was stolen.

2:51 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said a friend lent her clothing and now the friend wants the clothes back.

3:35 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said an unconscious woman, possibly drunk, was behind a store on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.

4:15 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said a man wearing a purple, red and black jacket was yelling at her and her children while they were in Rocca Park on Main Street. The man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness.

4:52 p.m., Groveland — A woman on the 11300 block of Merrell Road said a shed was burglarized.

7:04 p.m., Dodge Ridge — A man said both left tires on his vehicle parked at Dodge Ridge were punctured.

7:36 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 19300 block of Poplar Circle said when he returned home, all his exterior lights were on and the doors were open.

9:53 p.m., Standard area — A caller said a man was pointing a gun at a woman while the two were at a business on the 14500 block of Tuolumne Road.

8:23 p.m., Sonora — Lydia Carolyn English, 47, 100 block of East Columbia Way, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging her with making or passing worthless checks. English turned herself in yesterday and remained held this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Michael Ward Morgan, 38, 200 block of Reservoir Road, Sonora, booked at 9:47 p.m. yesterday after arrest on Reservoir Road.

Francis Julian Samo, 27, 1600 block of Ridgeland, Ceres, booked at 11:30 p.m. yesterday after arrest on Highway 108 at Main Street, Jamestown.

5:44 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said a man in his 20s who was wearing a red shirt and black shorts exposed himself to her in front of a business in the Downtown Shopping Center on Stockton Road.

8:07 p.m., public intoxication — A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 50 block of North Shepherd Street.

9:09 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury crash was reported on Shaws Flat Road.

9:29 p.m., public peace — A woman said a man was trying to get back into a bar on the 10 block of South Stewart Street after he was asked to leave.

9:49 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on the 400 block of Greenley Road said she heard someone screaming and someone who yelled "call the police."

TODAY

3:40 a.m., Sonora area — A fire was reported in a doublewide mobile home on the 20900 block of Jamestown Road. Damage was estimated at $7,500 to the structure and its contents. Melva Martinelli of Sonora owns the home. Tenants were Jan and Adele Gottschalk. No injuries were reported. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Tuolumne County Fire Department, Jamestown Fire Protection District and Sonora City Fire Department responded.

12:04 a.m., Murphys — A man on the 2600 block of Highway 4 said a woman stole a journal and personal letters from him.

1:58 p.m., San Andreas — A caller said items stolen from an antique store were being sold at a flea market at the old airport.

2:10 p.m., Angels Camp area — A deputy issued a citation to a man seen dismantling an old cattle corral, considered an historic site, near New Melones Reservoir.

6:53 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller reported two large parties were going on at Wrinkle Cove.

1:35 a.m., Arnold — A woman on Splash Dam Way near Bullwacker said when she went outside with her dog, she heard someone running through the trees and found a cigarette butt beside her house.

10:55 a.m., San Andreas — Carol Leigh Jamison, 34, 22900 block of Fuller Road, Twain Harte, booked on a Calaveras County warrant charging her with receiving stolen property and using an access card with the intent to defraud. She was arrested in Calaveras County Superior Court. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $80,000 bail.

3:37 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Robin Dorene Maines, 46, undisclosed address on Avenue A, Mountain Ranch, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance after an arrest at a bar in Mountain Ranch. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

7:31 p.m., Camanche — Ronald Perry Wreath, 40, 11700 block of Wade Lane, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and parole violation after arrest at Camanche South Shore Recreation Area. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $18,000 bail.

7:32 p.m., Valley Springs — Roger Doyle McIntyre, 53, 600 block of Woodrow Place, Lodi, booked on a San Joaquin County warrant charging him with vehicle theft and failure to appear after arrest on Highway 12 and Pine Street, Valley Springs.
