The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:38 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone at a Mill Villa Court store said people acted “odd” and asked strange questions. 

4:55 p.m., driving under the influence — A woman in a car on Highway 49 appeared to be intoxicated. 

5:46 p.m., hazardous situation — Someone on South Shepherd Street said a large moving van knocked down a cable line and it had to be “kicked” out of the roadway.

8:48 p.m., animal complaints — An injured raccoon on South Washington Street at Highway 108 ran up a hillside. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


 3:02 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Rawhide Road would not let someone pick up their horse. 

3:40 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Meadow Lark Drive woke up “drowsy” and called 911 about a “watermelon party” and a propane tank. 

6:43 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Lower Sunset Drive said she believed someone tried using her stolen cell phone to set up drug deals. 

6:49 p.m., Columbia — Someone on Parrotts Ferry Road was concerned because pruning shears were on the ground near an arguing couple. 

7:43 p.m., Columbia — A man at a Parrotts Ferry Road mobile home park walked up to the scene of a fight with a gun. He was advised by deputies to not carry a firearm while drunk and to allow law enforcement to handle incidents.


12:36 a.m., Columbia — A woman on State Street said her “upstairs neighbors” pounded on the ceiling and ran around making too much noise. 

1:37 a.m., East Sonora — A man on Hess Avenue believed an archer was after him. 


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


12:04 a.m., Sonora — Allan David Trujillo, 54, of the 1400 block of Alvarado Avenue, Burlingame, was booked after an arrest at Sanguinetti and Mono Way. 


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


10:18 a.m., Murphys — A woman on Apple Blossom Drive believed someone used her identity. 

12:07 p.m., Burson — A man on Warren Road said he heard people talk about him. 

12:26 p.m., Burson — Someone on Wade Lane said they wanted to talk to a deputy about garbage all over the roadway and a “number of things.”
