TUOLUMNE COUNTY 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

10:38 a.m., public peace — A suspicious man yelled and “ranted about random things” at a business on West Stockton Road. 

3:12 p.m., reckless driving — A possible drunk driver swerved and almost collided with a hillside on Pesce Way.

4:44 p.m., disorderly conduct — A man on Hospital Road threw someone’s tent over a cliff and swung a bat. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

8:58 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on O’Byrnes Ferry Road and Shotgun Creek Drive believed endangered birds were going to be knocked out of a nest by utility workers. She advised deputies that she would be calling the “state” and hung up. 

9:40 a.m., Columbia — A man on Quail Mine Road built “barricades” around himself and a  trailer and would not come out to be served with papers. Deputies left his paperwork outside his barricade per his instructions. 

12:42 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman on Golf Links Drive wanted to place people under citizen’s arrest for littering on her property. Deputies advised her a citizen’s arrest could not be made for infractions. 

1:40 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Main Street found a red bicycle with two flat tires and no seat at the bottom of her driveway. 

1:55 p.m., Tuolumne — A man on Wetumka Road said his ex-girlfriend refused to return his vehicle after he let her borrow it about a year ago.

2:12 p.m., Jamestown — A man on Preston Lane could not get his television and clothes from his ex-girlfriend's residence. 

3:53 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Seco Street said somebody at her old house signed for a delivery of a month supply of diapers and did not give them to her. 

9:14 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on Twain Harte Drive threatened to attack a man with a sledgehammer during an argument. 

TUESDAY

2:51 a.m., Sonora area — A man said he was jumped by three men at a bar on Mono Way. 

5:51 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Someone said a church on Highway 108 used large equipment to install solar panels and made excessive noise. 

Felony bookings

MONDAY

11:57 p.m., Phoenix Lake — Jaylene Danielle Desambad, 22, of the 15500 block of Buena Vista Avenue, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on the 21400 block of Paseo De Los Portales.

9:58 p.m., Twain Harte — Cindy Elaine Grimaldi, 52, of the 20000 block of Twain Harte Drive, was booked on suspicion of assault, criminal threats and resisting arrest, plus misdemeanor battery on a peace officer and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, after an arrest at her home.

10:25 p.m., Jamestown — Mark Edwin Lane, 54, of the 14100 block of Park Avenue, was booked after an arrest at Main and Donovan streets. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

12:34 p.m., Murphys — Someone on Main Street pulled a “no parking” sign out of the ground and threw it into a pond. 

3:21 p.m., Valley Springs — Four people on Pine Street changed the tires on a dark colored car, which someone thought was suspicious. 

TUESDAY

1:36 a.m., Angels Camp — Someone on Murphys Grade road had an “ongoing issue” with either trespassers or deer.

MONDAY

12:06 a.m., Angels Camp — Jessie Lynn Langston, 51, of the 300 block of Main Street, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 west of Angel Oaks.
