The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:40 a.m., theft — One thousand dollars in gift cards sent from the Sonora post office to San Francisco did not make it and one was used on May 16.

1:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A suspicious man was hiding behind a tree in Coffill Park.

4:22 p.m., vehicle theft — A flatbed trailer was stolen from Fairview Lane.

10:44 p.m., fight — A fight was reported behind a Sanguinetti Road store.

11:28 p.m., public peace — A loud party was disturbing neighbors on Columbia Way.

SATURDAY

1:28 a.m., harassment — People were said to be harassing patrons leaving a South Washington Street bar and construction workers and refused to leave.

11:26 a.m., miscellaneous codes — A woman said that someone at a South Washington Street bar took an inappropriate photo of her from under the table.

1:09 p.m., disorderly conduct — A man was yelling into a bull horn on North Washington Street, causing multiple noise complaints.

11:27 p.m., hazardous situation — A tree fell on a vehicle on North Shepherd Street and took out a power line.

SUNDAY

2:01 p.m., suspicious circumstances —  A man was swearing at passersby on South Washington Street, prompting multiple complaints.

11 p.m., hazardous situation — A group of teenagers was lighting off fireworks on Shaws Flat Road.

MONDAY

8:31 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A transient was sleeping on a guest chair at a South Washington Street Motel. 

8:46 a.m., threats — A woman on East Lyons Street said a man believed she turned him into law enforcement and threatened to blow up her vehicle. 

2:07 p.m., unclassified — Someone said a transient wearing a blue shirt dug through the garbage and left a mess at a park on Woods Creek Drive. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:21 a.m., Sonora area — A man said his glasses were stolen from a Mono Way store.

11:58 a.m., Jamestown — A man who had reportedly been urinating and sleeping in a stairwell on Main Street was asked to pick up trash he left behind.

12:53 p.m., Groveland — A man found a bear inside his Old Highway 120 home. The man was able to get the bear out of the house but could not get it to leave the porch.

2:10 p.m., Jamestown — Scrap metal was reported stolen from a Fifth Avenue residence.

3:57 p.m., La Grange — Two swimmers were stranded in the water at Lake Don Pedro after their rented boat capsized and drifted away. No injuries were reported, and the boat was towed to the arena.

6:42 p.m., Sonora area — A woman claimed to be “shape shifting,” turning into an animal and going through a “transformation.”

6:46 p.m., Jamestown — Multiple teenagers reportedly stole beer and candy bars totaling about $18 in value from a Highway 108 gas station.

7:03 p.m., Columbia — A livestock scale was stolen from a North Airport Road property.

10:47 p.m., Sonora area — A large fight was reported in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.

10:56 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman at Sonora Regional Medical Center said she was assaulted previously by a man who was with her in the emergency room.

SATURDAY

3:55 a.m., Groveland — A group of people were inside a house on Pine Mountain Drive that was supposed to be vacant.

12:33 p.m., Groveland — A shed on Knollcrest Court was broken into and a leaf blower and chainsaw were stolen.

1:23 p.m., La Grange — A boat in Lake Don Pedro was on fire near Fleming Meadows.

6:02 p.m., Groveland — A group was seen on Short Line Road possibly trying to illegally camp in the Rim Fire area.

8:03 p.m., Sonora area — Residents on Via Venada Road said a man was cutting his car into small pieces.

8:13 p.m., Soulsbyville — A fire was reported to the South of Oman Drive.

8:47 p.m., Jamestown — A large fight was reported at Maple and Seventh streets. Upon arrival, officers found a group of kids playing hacky sack and talking loudly.

10:38 p.m., Jamestown — A vehicle hit a building on Main Street, and the driver attempted to leave.

10:39 p.m., Strawberry — A group of people near the Dardanelle Resort on Highway 108 was trying to pick fights.

11:36 p.m., Jamestown — A fight between three or four people occurred at a Highway 108 bar.

2:33 a.m., Tuolumne — A man broke a roulette table at Black Oak Casino.

3:32 a.m., Sonora area — A car went off the road after an accident on Highway 49 near Tuttletown.

SUNDAY

9:54 a.m., La Grange — A man was bit by a snake at a boat ramp near Bonds Flat Road.

10:25 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman on Knox Drive reported a break-in at her residence.

11:41 a.m., Sonora area — A fight occurred at a Salmon River Court residence.

2:03 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman said her mailbox on Carlozzi Road was vandalized and an American flag was stolen from her property. A neighbor reported seeing two men in a red pickup truck wearing presidents masks driving in the area.

2:19 p.m., Sonora area  — A gun and ammunition were taken from a Pack Trail Road residence.

3:20 p.m., Lake Tulloch — A man was on the dock at Black Creek yelling at people and chasing them on his jet ski.

4:39 p.m., Jamestown — A fire was reported at the Tulloch campground undeveloped area.

5:08 p.m., Pinecrest Lake — A man was seen taking pictures of kids, screaming obscenities, waving a pirate flag and stealing property near the dam.

7:11 p.m., Sonora area — Two men were setting up a sluice box near Wards Ferry Road.

5:26 p.m., Groveland — A woman on Crest Pine Easement said an ex-boyfriend came to her residence and ripped open full trash bags and mixed the trash inside with her clothes, leaving her clothes with “yuck, grease and maggots in them.”

8:24 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — People were setting off fireworks near Lama Road Hisum and Lama Road Teumete.

9:18 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on Mother Lode Drive was reportedly drunk and out of control.

10:55 p.m., La Grange — A man was seen and heard running up and down the road at Alameda and Pepito drives asking for his keys and saying he was going to fight someone if he didn’t get them.

MONDAY

4:01 a.m., New Melones — A patient in the Sonora Regional emergency room claimed to have been shot in the leg while camping at New Melones.

11:34 a.m., East Sonora — Someone on Creekside Drive said an unknown person banged on their door and caused their dog to “go crazy.”

1:36 p.m., Sonora area — Someone on Oxbow Lane said someone stole about 120 prescription painkillers and a white pair of shorts. 

4:41 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man on Keith Court said he locked himself in the bedroom and a woman was “going crazy.” 

8:29 p.m., Columbia — A woman at a mobile home park on Yankee Hill Road admitted she slapped her husband in the face. He said he would stay with a relative until “she cools off.”

8:35 p.m., Sonora — Aundrea Malia Ray, 34, of Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and an unrelated warrant after an arrest on South Washington Street.

11:05 p.m., Sonora — Glen Edward Williams, 31, of the 13000 block of Silva Lane, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed knife after an arrest at a Sanguinetti Road store.

SATURDAY

12:40 a.m., Sonora — David Theodore Betancourt, 20, of Serrano Road, was booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary after an arrest on Sanguinetti Road.

1:49 a.m., Jamestown — Paris Avila, 22, of the 10300 block of Lirio Court, Coulterville, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and driving under the influence after an arrest on Bell Mooney Road east of Highway 49.

7:37 p.m., Sonora — Heather Irene Erickson, 26, of the 10000 Ernst Road, Greeley Hill, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and other drug-related misdemeanors after an arrest on Serrano Road.

7:37 p.m., Sonora — Kathleen Elizabeth Trosper, 22, of the 19600 block of Serrano Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and other misdemeanor drug charges after an arrest on Serrano Road.

7:46 p.m., Sonora — Brook Lea Walsh, 33, of the 600 block of Lyons Road, was booked on suspicion of probation violation and possession of a throwing star after an arrest on Mono way and Greenley Road.

SUNDAY

3:10 a.m., Tuolumne — Cesar Farias, 34, of the 300 block of 21st Street, Tracy, was booked on suspicion of vandalism after an arrest at Black Oak Casino.

MONDAY

7:37 p.m., Sonora — Denver Jacob Bedford, 21, of the 23800 block of Confidence South Fork Road was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest on the first block of Lower Sunset Drive.

1:37 a.m., Sonora — Chase William Holman, 25, of 22000 block of Colorado River Drive, was booked after an arrest on North Stewart Street.

7:08 p.m., Sonora — Pritham Kuar Prasad, 49, of the 3800 block of Wild Palms Drive, Modesto, was booked after an arrest on Highway 180 west of Green Springs Drive.

8:15 p.m., East Sonora — Sarah Jean Campbell, 21, of the 18700 block of Mill Villa Road, Jamestown, was booked after an arrest on the 21400 block of Longeway Road.

11:36 a.m., Valley Springs — Wire was stolen from Beal Ranch Road.

2:02 p.m., San Andreas — A teacher was threatened at a school on Old Oak Road.

6:26 p.m., Valley Springs — A fight occurred on Rippon Road.

7:11 p.m., Copperopolis — Someone stole or disabled the power steering on a truck on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

10:52 p.m., Arnold — A man and woman were screaming at each other near Alder and Maple streets.

4:35 a.m., Copperopolis — Someone said weekend tenants on Athena Drive were outside yelling and drinking. 

4:54 p.m., Copperopolis — Someone at Lake Tulloch said a boat driver seemed intoxicated and was throwing beer cans. 

10:02 p.m., San Andreas — Someone on Main Street said they heard “loud booms.” 

10:20 p.m., Copperopolis — A man had “extremely blaring” music on a boat on Lake Tulloch.

12:54 a.m., Mountain Ranch — Someone on Jesus Maria Road said they heard four shots and saw lights. 

11:31 p.m., Valley Springs — Three juveniles shot BB guns on Hartvickson Lane. 

MONDAY

9:15 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone said two pickups raced around Daphne and Cedar streets.

12:07 a.m., Angels Camp — Jeffrey Paul Hultsman, 53, of the 6500 block of Hastings Place, Gilroy, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence and without a license, and possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at Highway 4 and North Main Street. 

1:05 a.m., Copperopolis — Jacob Samuel Palmer, 25, of the 200 block of Hoffman Draw, Kila, Mont., was booked on suspicion of possessing a short-barrel shotgun after an arrest at Shirley Road. 

6:40 p.m., Valley Springs — Lucas Johnathan Garrett, 28, of an unknown address in San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of burglary and misdemeanor petty theft after an arrest on the first block of Highway 26.

12:31 a.m., Murphys — Amanda Kay DeValle, 51, of the 500 block of William Street, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest at her home. 

1:35 p.m., Vallecito — Tomas Ortizesquivel, 30, of the 100 block of Holiday Mine Road, Douglas Flat, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest on the 1700 block of Live Oak Court. 

5:30 p.m., Arnold — Charles Joseph Sanderson, 33, of 2800 block of Pine Drive was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest at his home.

1:05 p.m., Angels Camp — Joshua Ellis Gerard, 38, of the 1200 block of Gold Cliff Road, was booked on suspicion of false imprisonment and misdemeanor assault after an arrest at his home. 

4:58 p.m., Angels Camp — Katy Elizabeth Shultz, 33, of the 100 block of Upper Moran Road, Arnold, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor being under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:53 p.m., Hathaway Pines —  Michelle Lynn Moreno, 29, of the 1600 block of Park Avenue, San Jose, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 at Hathaway Pines.
