Anthony Phillip LaScolla

Sept. 8, 1950 — April 19, 2014

Anthony Phillip LaScolla was born on Sept. 8, 1950, in Inglewood, Calif. He passed away on April 19, 2014, in Sonora, Calif.

He leaves behind his wife of 11½ years, Loriann (Ross) LaScolla; daughter, Constantina LaScolla, of Tennessee; grandchildren, Ashley and Avery, of Tennessee; son, Michael LaScolla and his wife Jesse and two grandchildren, Amelia and Achilles LaScolla, of Galt, Calif.; brother Phillip LaScolla and wife, Kathy and their two daughters, of Roseville, Calif.; sister Rose LaScolla and her two children, Dorrie and William LaScolla, of Redondo Beach, Calif.; brother Robert LaScolla and his nine children and grandchildren, of Compton, Calif,; brother George LaScolla and wife and their children and grandchildren, of Iowa; three step-grandchildren, Makayla, Stylz and Aiden; and step-daughter, Melinda Roney and Ryan Carolines, of Crystal Falls, Calif.

Tony worked for Cunningham and Sons and SJD for 18 years. He will be greatly missed. He loved his motorcycles, the wide open waters of the ocean off Redondo Beach, boating, fishing and, of course, camping and riding motorcycles. He was a good man with a kind heart. He is going to be missed very very much.

SCOTT — Everett “Bill” Scott, 87, of Sonora, died Sunday at Sonora Regional Medical Center. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements. 

TROCHE — Barbara Troche, 72, of Soulsbyville, died Sunday at her home. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements. 

WORTHINGTON — Ray Worthington, 74, of Sonora, died Monday Sonora Regional Medical Center. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
