Vote Mike Dambacher

To the Editor:

Now that Mr. Grinnell seems to have implied that qualifications are important for the office of assessor-recorder, let’s look at the facts.

Mr. Whitman is an Appraiser II and has an entry level appraiser’s certification for property tax purposes issued by the Board of Equalization. He has three years experience in the assessor’s office.

Mr. Mike Dambacher has an advanced certification for property tax purpose issued by the B.O.E. Mr. Dambacher has five years experience in the Assessor-Recorder’s office with three years as a senior appraiser. Mr. Dambacher has 28 years in the appraisal field and holds a General Appraiser’s License issued by the Bureau of Real Estate Appraisal. A General Appraiser License qualifies him to appraise all types of property including commercial and industrial. It takes years of field training and 3,500 hours of classroom time just to qualify for the general license exam. Mr. Dambacher is qualified as an expert witness in a court of law and his work is accepted by lending institutions. No other candidate for the office of Tuolumne County Assessor-Recorder has the kind of experience, training, and credentials that compares with Mr. Dambacher’s.

I stand by my statement of record that Mr. Dambacher is, by far, the most highly qualified candidate for Assessor-Recorder. Vote for the candidate of your choice, and please vote. There is no such thing as wasted vote. My vote will be for Mr. Dambacher.

David Wynne

Tuolumne County Assessor-Recorder,
