The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:14 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone drove through a wrought iron post and into a tree on Pine Street. 

9:38 a.m., San Andreas — A man on Mountain Ranch Road filed counter-reports that said documents regarding his fireplace insert were “stolen or doctored in some way.” 

TUESDAY

12:05 a.m., Murphys — An unruly customer was reported at a business on Highway 4. 

7:38 a.m., Angels Camp — People were building a split rail fence on Fowler Peak and misdialed 911.

MONDAY

8:38 p.m., Valley Springs — Amanda Mae Overman, 32, of the 5700 block of Thornicroft Drive, was booked on suspicion of battery after an arrest at her home.

9:50 p.m., Angels Camp — Daniel Lester Dimberg, 69, of the 1000 block of Mark Twain Road, was booked after an arrest on South Main Street. 

3:53 p.m.,  Valley Springs — Michael Alan Brady, 41, of the 2000 block of South Ranchero Road, was booked after an arrest on the 1900 block of Vista Del Lago Drive. 

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

4:05 a.m., animal complaints — A dog was barking in the neighborhood of East Jackson Street. Officers determined it was loose and barking at a raccoon. They were unable to catch the dog. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:05 a.m., Groveland — A Breckenridge Road woman received a threatening message and a picture of a man wearing a ski mask and holding a gun via a social media site. 

10:04 a.m., Sonora area —A man walking his dogs on Draper Mine Road said his dogs were attacked by other dogs. He kicked one of the small dogs and “it went flying.” The owner of the small dog threatened him after he kicked it. 

10:33 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on Ninth Avenue said that she paid her landlord for water service and it was never hooked up. She took a hose from her neighbor’s yard and used their water. 

1:35 p.m., Sonora area — Someone called a woman on Robina Court and told her they “got her number by random, but love the sound of her voice.” She told them to stop calling her. 

2:20 p.m., Jamestown — A man said that he did not like his drinks and he asked the manager of a business on the 18100 block of Highway 108 to check the expiration date. The manager refused and the man left the restaurant without paying. He told deputies he went back to the business to retrieve a pair of glasses and the business owner locked the door and told him he could not come in unless he paid his bill.

 4:23 p.m. La Grange — A man on Pepito Drive said that his estranged wife tried to run him over with her car. At 8 p.m., he told deputies he decided he didn’t want to “tattle” on his “baby’s mama” and asked them not to discuss this matter with his parents.

12:13 a.m., Sonora — William Richard Griffin, 41, of the first block of Shepherd Street, was booked on suspicion of battery after an arrest at his home. 

11:01 p.m., Sonora area — Paul Daniel Velasquez, 32, of the 17600 block of Lime Kiln Road, was booked on suspicion of battery after an arrest at his home.

4:42 p.m., Sonora —Denise Joy Perea, 32, of the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive, Twain Harte, was booked after an arrest on the 700 block of Mono Way.
