TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

1:15 p.m., unclassified — The smell of rotting garbage came from an apartment on Columbia Way.

2:05 p.m., animal complaints — A dog that was supposed to be quarantined was outside on Greenley Road. The dog’s owner told officers that the dog was outside to “use the bathroom.”

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

5:29 p.m., Groveland — A resident on Buttercup Circle was using a chainsaw without a spark arrestor. 

5:37 p.m., Sonora area — A resident of a care home on Greenley Road was slapped in the face by another resident for “messing” with curtains.

8:58 p.m, Mi-Wuk Village — A woman had a “bad feeling” because a driver followed them for a long time, then pulled over and “dumped a water bottle” on his head. 

TUESDAY

1:09 a.m., Columbia — A man screamed at the “top of his lungs” at his home on Valley Quail Road. 

4:15 a.m., Tuolumne — People on Eden Lane were lighting bottle rockets, and a neighbor was concerned because fire season “is upon us.”

7:38 a.m., Columbia — Two pit bulls growled at a man on Clay Road and prevented him from leaving his home.

MONDAY

12:47 a.m., Jamestown — Gina Lucille Cook, 34, of the 11200 block of Circle Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at Donovan and Main streets. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

3:40 p.m., San Andreas — A student on High School Street misdialed 9-1-1 while waiting for a bus. 

5:54 p.m., San Andreas — Stolen items were recovered by a deputy at Gold Oak Road.

3:00 p.m., Angels Camp — Kenneth James Lee Leonard, 48, of the 1000 block of Bret Harte Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at his home.
