The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:46 a.m., reckless driving — A white sedan was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane.

12 p.m., public peace — A man was doing yard work with his music on too loud.

2:31 p.m., burglary — Someone stole meat from a South Washington Street grocery store.

6:32 p.m., theft — An old-fashioned push lawn mower was stolen from a house on South Stewart Street.

7:02 p.m., theft — Two girls were detained at a Sanguinetti Road store after being accused of shoplifting. They were released to their parents.

SATURDAY

1:56 p.m., theft — Shoplifting was reported at a South Washington Street grocery store.

5:27 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A transient was hanging around the Adventist community service building on South Forest Road.

11:52 p.m., theft — A man and woman attempted to shoplift from a Sanguinetti Road store.

SUNDAY

3:08 p.m., traffic accident — Someone backed into a parked vehicle on South Green Street. 

5:36 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone said that a man had an open container of beer and was sitting in his vehicle at a parking lot on Sanguinetti Road.

10:12 p.m., disorderly conduct — Someone said that their neighbor was causing a noise disturbance by slamming car doors and honking the horn. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:32 a.m., Jamestown — A family on Preston Lane said they were harassed over the phone by someone accusing their 12 year-old son of stealing Internet access. They suspected it was a prank.

11:40 a.m., Sonora area —Someone attempted to steal a tractor from a Racetrack Road property.

12:37 p.m., Sonora area — Someone stole a check from a mailbox on Highway 49 and attempted to cash it.  

2:04 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — An attempted suicide was reported on Highway 108.

2:43 p.m., Sonora area — Four boys were riding dirtbikes on a Campbells Flat Road property without permission.

5:38 p.m., Sonora area — A fight over an eviction took place on Harrison Drive.

7:05 p.m., Sonora area — Multiple men fought on Grouse Way.

8:06 p.m., Jamestown — Two roommates fought on Sierra Avenue.

8:13 p.m., Sonora area — Two men were seen looking into mailboxes with flashlights on Racetrack Road.

10:23 p.m., Groveland — An unattended slash pile fire was reported on Mather Road.

11:55 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman said a man stole her credit card at a Tuolumne Road North bar.

SATURDAY

10:30 a.m., Sonora area — Vehicle theft was reported on Fir Drive.

11:10 a.m., Jamestown — A vehicle accident took place at Wigwam Road and Highway 108.

11:44 a.m., Sonora area — A group of panhandlers was asked to leave The Junction shopping center.

11:48 a.m., Twain Harte — A dispute between neighbors on Middle Camp-Sugar Pine Road involved accusations of residents throwing pine needles on each others’ properties and shooting at animals.

11:59 a.m., Jamestown — A vehicle accident with unspecified injuries was reported at Highway 108 and Jamestown Road.

12:57 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A residence on Wallim Court was broken into and ransacked.

1:55 p.m., Sonora area — A missing girl was reported on Highway 49 but later was located and returned home.

1:58 p.m., Sonora area — Theft from a Sonora store was reported on Tuolumne Road.

2:50 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman on Pine Cone Road said someone stole a doormat and baby gate from her residence.

3:04 p.m., Sonora area — Vehicle theft was reported on Fir Drive.

6:20 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Nile River Drive said someone dumped grass clippings on her property.

7:14 p.m., Tuolumne — A man on Maple Avenue suspects someone came into his house and moved things around.

10 p.m., Sonora area — A fire was reported on Creekside Drive.

10:07 p.m., Jamestown — Drug activity was reported at a house on Twin Oak Drive.

11:59 p.m., La Grange — A fire was reported in the bathroom of a park at Highway 132 and Bonds Flat Road.

SUNDAY

8:55 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman’s purse was stolen from her Lama Road home.

1:03 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said that her boyfriend’s vehicle was stolen from a business on Chicken Ranch Road. Her purse, school identification and makeup was inside the stolen car. 

3:48 p.m., Jamestown — A man on Calamity Jane Drive said that he was drinking with his dad and they had an argument. His dad pulled his hair and he slapped his dad in the face. 

4:29 p.m., Tuolumne —  Dogs attacked pigs in a pen on Mi Wu Street. 

6:16 p.m.,  Sonora area — A pig ran around in the roadway at Campo Seco Street/ Sleepy Hollow Road.

6:16 p.m., Standard — Several cows were roaming the yard at a Standard Road school.

2:56 p.m., Sonora — John Francis Johnson Kahrs, 20, of the 600 block of Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary after an address near the old Whitt Mill property.

SATURDAY

7:30 p.m., Sonora — Edward Lee Jones, 23, of the 16700 block of South Creekside Road, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury after an arrest on Yaney Avenue.

SUNDAY

12:09 a.m., Sonora —Michelle Lee Detamore, 26, transient, was booked on suspicion of burglary after an arrest on the 1000 block of Sanguinetti Road.

4:56 p.m., Sonora — Felix Carlos Mora, 64, of the 16500 block of South Creekside Drive, was booked after an arrest near the Crystal Falls Market.

2:35 a.m., Sonora — Reggie Joseph Moe, 21, of the 22800 block of Sunnybrook Drive, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way at Cordelia Avenue.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

8:01 a.m., Valley Springs — Vandalism was reported at the Jenny Lind Veterans Memorial District on Pine Street.

1:29 p.m., Copperopolis — A white vehicle was hiding in the bushes near Copper Crest Drive and Copper Meadows Drive, and people were reportedly going house to house asking for money.

4:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Automatic gunfire was reported near Appaloosa Road and Pinto drive.

5:54 p.m., Valley Springs — A disturbance between neighbors occurred on Paolini Road.

7:37 p.m., Angels Camp — A residential break-in occurred on Pool Station Road.

9:27 p.m., Avery — Items from a Mare Road residence.

9:34 p.m., Arnold — Someone was yelling, screaming and banging on vehicles on Pebble Beach Way.

12:25 a.m., Arnold — Vacationers renting a house on Jerrilynn Drive were being loud, yelling and lighting a bonfire.

8:16 a.m., Railroad Flat — A family altercation was reported on North Railroad Flat Road.

10:06 a.m., Valley Springs — A dispute over belongings took place on Vista Del Lago Drive.

10:11 a.m., Valley Springs — Trespassing, vandalism and theft of metal were reported on a Walker Trail Road property.

10:34 a.m., Angels Camp — A woman was reportedly driving recklessly with a child in the car on South Main Street.

10:58 a.m., Vallecito — Someone reported unauthorized use of a credit card on Camp Nine Road.

12:26 p.m., Valley Springs — An altercation occurred on Laurel Street.

2:59 p.m., Avery — Multiple arrests were made for drugs and driving under the influence at a Highway 4 mobile home park.

11:59 p.m., Arnold — An altercation occurred on Manuel Road.

3:39 a.m., Angels Camp — Possible trespassing and property theft was reported on Sultana Lane.

11:15 a.m., Arnold — An arrest was made after deputies responded to an argument on Crystal Way.

MONDAY

4:39 a.m., San Andreas — A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

11:05 a.m., Angels Camp — Monica Marie McHardy, 29, of the 200 block of Woodland Drive, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of probation violation after an arrest on the 1200 block of South Main Street. 

11:30 a.m., Valley Springs — Samantha Jean Davis, 27, of an unlisted address in Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of attempted burglary after an arrest on the 300 block of Paloma Road. 

1:20 p.m., Arnold — Juli Lisa Corpening, 52, of the 2200 block of Pine Drive, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty and assault with a deadly weapon after an arrest at her home.

12:23 p.m., Railroad Flat — Janice Elaine Allen, 54, of the first block of Railroad Flat Road, was booked on suspicion of causing harm to an elder dependant after an arrest at her home. 

8:41 a.m., Angels Camp —Robert Victor Carroll, 48, of the 300 block of North Baker Street, was booked on suspicion of burglary and misdemeanor receiving stolen property after an arrest at his home. 

SUNDAY

12:24 p.m., Arnold — Brady Aaron Mathews, 21, of the 3900 block of Highway 4, was booked on suspicion of criminal threats and misdemeanor battery after an arrest on the 3200 block of Crystal Way.

2:10 p.m., Copperopolis — Teri Joelle Schueler, 53, of the 3000 block of Cannon Way, Pittsburg, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 at Little John Road.

8:08 p.m., Angels Camp — Frederic Barthelemy, 28, of the first block of 28th Avenue, San Mateo, was book after an arrest on Highway 4 at Angels Oak Road.

3:30  a.m., San Andreas — Chad McCoy Testa, 19, of Dogtown Road, Angels Camp, was booked after an arrest on Gold Strike Road at Gold Strike Way.

9:50 p.m., Murphys — Isaac Anthony Wasik, 24, of the 6000 block of Hawver Road, Mokelumne Hill, was booked after an arrest on the 7000 block of Sheep Ranch Road.
