CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:06 p.m., Hathaway Pines — A reported burglary on Arrowhead Court was unfounded.

2:40 p.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious looking man wearing a hooded sweatshirt was seen walking away from a residence on Laurent Lane. It was determined that he was likely a delivery man.

3:05 p.m., San Andreas — The locks were taped shut and items were missing at a residence on Sunset Lane.

8:05 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller heard a large bang outside of a house on Sequoia Avenue.

WEDNESDAY

4:45 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Donald Wayne Summers, 49, no registered address, was booked on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender, after an arrest on the 17100 block of Baker Riley Way.

WEDNESDAY

1:10 p.m., Jenny Lind — Michael David Schultz, 50, of the 12700 block of Castle Road, Manteca, was arrested on the 6500 block of Jenny Lind Road. 

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

11:34 a.m., warrant arrests — A 30-year-old man was booked into Tuolumne County Jail for a misdemeanor warrant issued on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest on Mono Way.

12:02 p.m., warrant arrests — A 27-year-old man was booked into Tuolumne County Jail for six misdemeanor warrants, after an arrest on Mono Way. The warrants were issued for previous arrests on suspicion of two counts each of driving with a suspended or revoked license, vandalism, misdemeanor assault, violating a restraining order, resisting arrest and six counts of failing to appear in court.

4:34 p.m., public peace — A 1966 red Ford Mustang was playing loud music on South Washington Street. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived on scene.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

11:33 a.m., Columbia — A woman said she walked out to her vehicle on Columbia College Drive and saw a woman with blonde hair by it. The window on her vehicle was broken out but nothing was missing. The blonde woman left in an older white vehicle. A report was taken for burglary.

1:55 p.m., Columbia — A student at Columbia College said keys, registration and other items were stolen from the glove box of his unlocked vehicle parked on Columbia College Drive.

3:27 p.m., Twain Harte — A bicycle was stolen on Twain Harte Drive.

5:04 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Flume Drive said her landlord broke into her home and took money. The incident was listed as a civil problem, not a crime.

8:53 p.m. Twain Harte — A person wanted to report a trend in vandalism to vehicles at Confidence South Fork and Middle Camp-Sugar Pine roads. The caller said the vandalisms usually occur on Mondays in the early afternoon and requested extra patrol in the area around that time.

9:35 p.m., La Grange — A man on Las Palmas Way thought he heard someone trying to get into his home through the back door. He did not see any vehicles or suspects nearby, but the door was locked and he had a gun. A sheriff’s deputy checked the door and found no signs of an entry attempt. The resident said his dog barked and scared the suspect away. The deputy checked the area but was unable to locate any suspects or vehicles.

9:25 p.m., Jamestown — David Lee Kirk, 56, of the 19800 block of Incense Cedar Trail, Groveland, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Shawmut Road and Highway 120.
