TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

11:33 a.m., pedestrian checks — Two panhandlers outside a business on Sanguinetti Road were told to leave the area.

2:35 p.m., warrant arrests — Officers were unable to locate a warrant suspect seen in the area of Callahan Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

7:50 a.m., Twain Harte — A man reported vandalism to property and thefts from three utility trailers on a seven-acre property at Mount Provo and Rising Sun Mine roads.

10:09 a.m., Sonora area — A man at a mobile home park on Wards Ferry Road said graffiti was written on the back window of his vehicle. He washed it off, but took photos and wanted to file a crime report for vandalism.

10:33 a.m., Tuttletown — A 1998 Volkswagen Cabrio was burglarized at a gas station on Highway 49. The suspect gained entry by cutting open the car’s fabric roof. An iPod, cell phone and medications were among the items stolen from the vehicle.

12:13 p.m., Twain Harte  — Three vehicles were keyed in a parking area at Confidence-South Fork and Middle Camp Sugar Pine roads.

2 p.m., Soulsbyville — A resident on Soulsbyville Mine Road reported 15 unauthorized online purchases made using his debit card, for a total of nearly $2,000.

2:18 p.m., Sonora area — Automotive batteries, aluminum truck frames and wheels were stolen from a business on Mono Way.

2:19 p.m., Twain Harte — A resident on Forest Vista Drive saw an abandoned pickup truck that matched the description of a vehicle recently reported as stolen. California Highway Patrol was called to investigate.

3:25 p.m., Jamestown — A man said someone keeps cutting his fences on Tulloch Road near Highway 108 and letting his cattle get loose.

4:16 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone broke the driver’s side window out of GMC Yukon parked on Twain Harte Drive.

11:12 p.m., Groveland — A fight occurred at a business on Evergreen Road and someone was reportedly stabbed. Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Johnson said no one went to the hospital and one person was arrested in connection with the incident, but further information was not available because sheriff’s deputies were still completing reports as of Tuesday afternoon.

MONDAY

11:10 a.m., Sonora — Jonathan Ryan Perez, 31, of the 4500 block of Hokualele Road, Anahola, Hawaii, was booked on suspicion of burglary, after an arrest along railroad tracks east of the Lowe’s on Old Wards Ferry Road. 

11:45 a.m., Sonora area — Rayne Leigh Dehart, 19, of the 20300 block of North Sunshine Road, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at her home.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

1:31 p.m., San Andreas — A witness reported a man sleeping in the bushes in front of the California Highway Patrol, San Andreas office on Mountain Ranch Road.

4:12 p.m., Valley Springs — A man on Dunn Road said someone was using his identity to make online purchases.

7:52 p.m., San Andreas — Equipment was stolen from a residence on Main Street.

8:02 p.m., Angels Camp — A dog was locked inside a green-and-white pickup parked overnight on Finnegan Lane.
