TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

2:30 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An adult man was allegedly harassing a juvenile at the skate park on Greenley Road. An officer spoke with the man and advised him of the complaint.

3:48 p.m., theft — A package was stolen from a mailbox on Banner Drive.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

10:30 a.m., Sonora area — Someone called about a theft on the 21300 block of Green Meadow Lane.

11:06 a.m., Sonora area — A man on the 17300 block of Valley Oak Drive said the FBI was locking him out of his computer. It turned out to be a common computer virus and he was told to take his laptop to a repair shop.

11:38 a.m., La Grange — Credit card fraud was reported on the 2100 block of Pepito Drive.

12:57 p.m., Sonora area — Someone’s tires were slashed on the 16700 block of Primrose Lane.

1:01 p.m., Columbia — An RV was burglarized on the 23600 block of Marble Quarry Road. The culprits pried open the vehicle’s bay doors and stole a Honda generator, two 7-gallon propane tanks, two propane barbecues and three car batteries.

1:24 p.m., Jamestown — Someone turned in a counterfeit $20 bill at the Community Service Unit on the 18200 block of Main Street.

1:50 p.m., Columbia — Two 7.5-gallon propane tanks and a solar panel controller were stolen from a fifth-wheel trailer on the 23600 block of Marble Quarry Road.

3:51 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 18700 block of Cedar Drive said she located her stolen iPhone at a residence on the 16700 block of South Creekside Drive using a tracking feature on the device. A report for theft was taken.

4:21 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18800 block of Jamestown Road found some items on her property, including a blank check and clothes.

4:31 p.m., Sonora area — A man reported the theft of mail on the 17200 block of Valley Oak Drive. He said that he put the mail in the box the day before, but it was missing the next morning.

TUESDAY

12:30 p.m., Sonora — Pamela Marcia Torres, 50, of the 15100 block of Cavalieri Road, was booked on suspicion of bringing drugs into a jail and drug possession, after an arrest at the Tuolumne County Jail while on a felony probation hold.

3:50 p.m., Sonora area — Priscilla Ashleyann Wood, 31, of Columbia, street address not listed, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, possessing stolen property and misdemeanor charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and hit-and-run causing property damage, after an arrest on the 11000 block of Mount Brow Road.

3:49 a.m., Sonora — Jason Allen Smiley, 30, of the 200 block of Montana Avenue, Turlock, was arrested on the 200 block of West Stockton Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

9:32 a.m., Vallecito — A report was taken for criminal contempt on Parrotts Ferry Road.

12:14 p.m., San Andreas — Deputies responded to a theft at a business on East St. Charles Street.

2:57 p.m., Arnold — A residence on Longman Lane was burglarized.

9:51 p.m., Valley Springs — A mailbox on Hartvickson Lane was vandalized.

9:30 a.m., Valley Springs — Jacob Ryan Butler, 29, of the 12800 block of Milton Road, was booked on suspicion of unlawful possession of ammunition and committing a felony while on bail, after an arrest at his home.

9:58 a.m., Murphys — Jesus Medrano, 18, of the 700 block of Mark Twain Road, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of assault, battery and child endangerment, after an arrest on the 500 block of Sunny Oak Court.

12:55 p.m., San Andreas — Jessica Renee Reyes, 26, of the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road, was booked on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm with a prior felony conviction, after an arrest on the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road.

1:31 p.m., San Andreas — Donald Robert Luft Jr., 48, of the 2300 block of Tully Road, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and possession of marijuana for sale, after an arrest on the 100 block of Gitney Street.

3:10 p.m., Angels Camp — Juan Geovanni Ortiz, 29, of the 300 block of South Main Street, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on Highway 4.
