TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

3:51 a.m., theft — A purse was reported stolen from an office before midnight on Greenley Road.

11:54 a.m., threats — A man was causing a disturbance in front of the Tuolumne County Library on Greenley Road.

3:18 p.m., vandalism/property damage — Several cars were keyed on Hospital Road.

6:36 p.m., traffic accident — A hit and run accident was reported at South Stewart Street and Restano Way.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

7:34 a.m., Twain Harte — A man on Fallen Leaf Lane told deputies he believes a neighbor has tapped into and is tampering with his phone line.

8:12 a.m., Sonora area — A man reported that four people were trespassing on his Lime Kiln Road property using a go kart.

9:04 a.m., Sonora area — A crate was stolen from a locked yard on Phoenix Lake Road.

9:19 a.m., Sonora area — A fight took place on Green Oaks Court between a man and his son when the son tried to get his dog back from his father

11:13 a.m., Sonora area — A driver was reportedly assaulted after an automobile accident on Highway 108.

12:05 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said her nephew refused to leave her home on Big Hill Road.

12:06 p.m., Sonora area — A man was harassing customers outside of a Mono Way restaurant.

2:10 p.m., Chinese Camp — A swastika was painted in the road on Red Hills Road.

6:49 p.m., Sonora area — A Blackberry Pond Lane woman said a German shepherd dog went onto her property and attacked her dog.

6:57 p.m., Sonora area — A Lambert Lake Road woman reported her mail was stolen.

8:20 p.m., Columbia — Someone reported a possible break-in at a State Street apartment complex.

THURSDAY

1:01 a.m., Tuolumne — Paul Eugene Brownell Jr., 31, of the 18200 block of Willow Street, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest at  Tuolumne Park.

12:50 p.m., Sonora — Joshua Earl Caudill, 29, of the 18100 block of Sonoma Hills Lane, Sacramento, was booked on suspicion of transporting a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance for sale after an arrest on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

2:15 p.m., Sonora — Edward Stephan Greenberg, 47, of the 200 block of Greenley Road, was booked on suspicion of threatening a crime with intent to terrorize and possession of a narcotic after an arrest at the Tuolumne County Library on Greenley Road.

11:54 p.m., Twain Harte — Johnathan Fredrick Guyer, 44, of the 25300 block of Lama Drive, Mi-Wuk Village, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and possession of drug paraphernalia.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:52 a.m., Copperopolis — Wiring worth $3,000 to $4,000 in stolen wiring was reported on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

4:29 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A suspicious man was driving a motorcycle up and down Highway 26 near Jesus Maria Road acting strange.

4:34 p.m., Burson — Theft was reported on Luna Drive.

6:41 p.m., West Point — A man reported he was jumped and assaulted by four people.

FRIDAY

12:13 a.m., Valley Springs — A noise complaint was made on Crosby Court.

6:44 a.m., Railroad Flat — A disturbance was reported at a mobilehome park on South Railroad Flat Road.

3:04 p.m., San Andreas — Jason Paul Newton, 39, of the 6400 block of Pettinger Road, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of grand theft after an arrest at the county Probation Department.
