TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

11:29 a.m., theft — A man’s tent and other property were stolen from under the bridge near Rotary Park on West Stockton Street.

1:06 p.m., assault — A fight broke out between female students at Sonora High School on North Washington Street. They were separated and an ambulance was requested.

4:50 p.m., fight — A physical altercation between two men occurred at Courthouse Square on North Washington Street. One of the men involved did not want to press charges or seek medical attention. The other man was not located.

6:04 p.m., public intoxication — A man was walking in the road with a dog on West Stockton Street and someone called police out of concern he would get hit by a passing motorist. An officer in the area was unable to locate the man, but spoke with two other people and arrested one of them, a 41-year-old man, on suspicion of public intoxication.

7:25 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An anonymous caller stated that two people possibly stole a yellow bicycle from a business on Sanguinetti Road and were walking with the bike on Mono Way. Officers were unable to locate the suspects.

7:47 p.m., theft — An attempted theft occurred at a business on Sanguinetti Road, and an employee requested the suspect be banned from the store if found.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:24 a.m., Sonora area — A business on the 14300 block of Cuesta Court was burglarized. Tools and checks were missing, and the building had been ransacked.

9:59 a.m., Jamestown — Apartments on the 10300 block of Preston Lane were vandalized.

11:03 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 20500 block of Bay Meadow Drive reported fraudulent use of her credit card.

1:11 p.m., Sonora area — A mailbox was knocked off its post the night before Halloween on 16600 block of Creekside Drive.

3:19 p.m., Jamestown — A large pile of mail was found near the intersection of Table Mountain and Chicken Ranch roads.

4:57 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 19500 block of Plum Court said her antique gun was missing.

5:52 p.m., Jamestown — A vehicle parked on the 17200 block of Margaret Drive was burglarized.

9:31 p.m., Sonora area — Items were stolen from a vehicle on the 13900 block of Mono Way.

11:05 p.m., Tuolumne — Robert Lee Richardson, 57, of the 20500 block of Canyon View Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Tuolumne Road and Tuolumne Road North.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:46 a.m., Valley Springs — A burglary occurred on Hogan Dam Road.

10:17 a.m., Valley Springs — An unlocked vehicle on Goggin Street was broken into and items were scattered.

11:27 a.m., Arnold — A residence on Meadow Drive was burglarized. A phone was missing and the fireplace had been used.

3:38 p.m., San Andreas — Two teenage boys got into a fight at Turner Park on Treat Avenue and were separated.

4:35 p.m., Copperopolis — A man was sitting in a ditch and talking to himself on Quill Road.

4:38 p.m., Valley Springs — A man was seen carrying a 10-foot pole and acting strangely while walking on Blake Lane. Officers arrested him on suspicion of a misdemeanor drug violation.

9:15 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone saw an intoxicated person in a neighborhood at Daphne and Laurel streets.

11:53 p.m., Wallace — A report was taken for someone trespassing at Highway 12 and Haskell Street.

WEDNESDAY

7:17 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A woman on Mountain Vista Drive warned of a scam involving someone who called her claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House and stating she had won money and a new car. She was told to go to a CVS Pharmacy or Walmart and put money on a re-loadable card and present it to them in order to receive the prizes.

9:15 a.m., Valley Springs — Benjamin Thomas Kerr, 27, of the 4400 block of Baldwin Street, was booked on suspicion of attempted burglary, attempted vehicle theft and criminal conspiracy, after an arrest on the 2000 block of Hogan Dam Road.

11:22 a.m., Valley Springs — Jeremiah Nathaniel James, 28, of the 4300 block of Mulford Court, was booked on suspicion of attempted burglary, attempted vehicle theft, attempted grand theft and criminal conspiracy, after an arrest at Vista Del Lago Drive and Highway 26.

12:21 p.m., Murphys — Jolene Marie Humes, 36, of the 3300 block of Muriettas Roost, Camp Connell, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and transporting drugs, after an arrest at Main Street and Murphys Grade Road.

TUESDAY

11:21 a.m., Valley Springs — Jacob Ryan Butler, 27, of the 12800 block of Milton Road, was arrested on the 4400 block of Baldwin Lane.

7:46 p.m., Angels Camp — Paul Charles Reinisch, 54, of the 2600 block of East Avenue, Grover, Mo., was arrested on the 100 block of Selkirk Ranch Road.

8:40 p.m., Angels Camp — Charles John Holtz, 57, of the 2400 block of Monroe Street, Tracy, arrested on the 100 block of Selkirk Ranch Road.
