TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

11:35 a.m., public intoxication — A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at Prospector Park at West Bradford Avenue and North Poplar Street. 

12:25 p.m., traffic accident — A caller admitted to causing a property damage auto accident and not leaving information on the vehicle on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

5:43 p.m., property damage — Someone found pry marks on a back door to a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street. 

8:08 p.m., hit and run — Someone was found on the ground moaning apparently after being hit by a vehicle last seen heading northbound on South Washington Street from the 500 block.

10:43 p.m., warrant arrest — A woman was arrested on an out-of-county warrant for transporting drugs for sale on the 800 block of Sanguinetti Road.

10:54 p.m., disorderly conduct — Someone reportedly made threats to a bartender on the 10 block of South Washington Street, but left before police arrived. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:11 a.m., East Sonora — Someone said a man in camouflage was in his or her garage on the 12800 block of Mono Way. 

8:47 a.m., Tuolumne — A man said his Social Security number had been compromised by his bank and listed other complaints on the 20100 block of Tuolumne Road North. 

10:10 a.m., Groveland area — A sinkhole was reported in the asphalt at Drew Meadow on Cherry Lake Road. 

10:38 a.m., East Sonora — A man and woman were arguing over a spilled soda on the 13700 block of Mono Way. 

11:41 a.m., Soulsbyville — A man reported new items discovered as missing from a previous burglary on the 20600 block of Kings Court. They included three hats, a long bow, four boxes of sandpaper, a black leather jacket, a black gun holster, a piece of welding machinery, a radio scanner and two tool boxes. 

1:09 p.m., Groveland — Car tires were slashed on the 20800 block of Rock Canyon Way. 

1:18 p.m., Jamestown — Someone was arrested after a report of a witnessed theft of a cell phone and wallet at Rocca Park on Main Street. 

1:31 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman requested a welfare check on a group home next door after hearing a man screaming and cursing at residents and residents crying on the 17100 block of Nile River Drive. Caregivers told police some patients were mentally ill but everything was fine. A neighbor said her son was a gamer and often screams at the top of his lungs while playing. 

3 p.m., Columbia — A lock was broken on a pump house on the 11300 block of Damin Road. 

3:29 p.m., Jamestown — A woman reported her car stolen after a friend had not returned with it since leaving “for doughnuts” four hours ago from the 10300 block of Preston Lane. 

3:57 p.m., Sonora area — A man was seen hacking at a tree with a knife, cutting its leaves and acting strangely on the 17900 block of Plateau Road. He told police he was waiting for the bus. 

3:58 p.m., Sonora area — A man said a woman trespassed in front of his residence when she stood there screaming on the 17200 block of Valley Oak Drive. 

4:42 p.m., Jamestown — A youth was taken into protective custody after a report of abuse from an elder on the 10500 block of Calamity Jane Drive. 

6:57 p.m., Phoenix Lake — A woman in a plaid shirt and jeans was standing on the roadway screaming and yelling at passing cars at Phoenix Lake Road and Paseo De Los Portales.

7:33 p.m., Sonora — Someone said he was being held against his will and later a woman called saying a man was out of control and she needed help on the 12900 block of Chukar Circle. 

8:06 p.m., Tuolumne — A report was taken for a missing youth after a neighbor told a mother her daughter was seen at the baseball diamond extremely high on something and throwing up everywhere on the 18500 block of Pine Street. 

8:19 p.m., Sonora — A person or animal was scared off from entering a shop on the 18200 block of Old Wards Ferry.

THURSDAY

1:48 p.m., Sonora — Kelley Daniel, 31, of the 12700 block of Chukar Circle, was booked on suspicion of abusing or endangering the health of a child and misdemeanor being under the influence of drugs after an arrest on the 400 block of Greenley Road. 

7:45 p.m., Sonora — Marc Christian Salisbury, 45, of the 13000 block of Beckwith Circle, was booked on suspicion of obstructing a telephone line and misdemeanor battery of a spouse or cohabitant after an arrest at his home.

7:53 p.m., Groveland — Christopher Carlton Yates, 40, of the 19900 block of Highway 120, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and drug possession for sale and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession and an infraction of marijuana possession after an arrest at Vernal Drive and Merrell Road.

1:42 p.m., Jamestown — Dale Glenn Webb, 58, of the 19200 block of Pleasant View Drive, Big Oak Flat, was booked after an arrest at Seco and Donovan streets. 

4:19 p.m., Sonora — Cheryl Carol Roberts, 50, of the 13000 block of Beckwith Circle, was booked after an arrest at her home. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

9:30 a.m., San Andreas — Two men were arrested on warrants local warrants for drug and alcohol charges at the jail lobby. 

11:44 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone reported a fight between family members on Denim Court. 

12:11 p.m., Angel Camp — Cal Fire requested law enforcement to come to a structure fire caused by cooking drugs at Stanislaus Avenue and Pacific Street. 

3:39 p.m., San Andreas — Someone reported the felling and theft of oak trees on Mountain Ranch Road. 

3:41 p.m., Burson — Someone was rustling cattle at Evergreen and Warren roads.

5:06 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested after a call for someone under the influence on East Saint Charles Street. 

8:41 p.m., Valley Springs — A man was arrested on local warrants including firearm possession and drug charges at Mulford Court and Hartvickson Lane.

Midnight, Mokelumne Hill — David Michael Shaffer, 49, of Sacramento, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 south of Lombardi Drive.

6 p.m., Angels Camp — Sally Ann Morris, 38, of the 1800 block of South Main Street, was booked after an arrest on the 200 block of South Main Street.

9 a.m., San Andreas — Cena Sue Fillmore, 22, of the 900 block of Stanley Road, West Point, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary, vehicle theft, receiving known stolen property worth $400 or more, drug possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession and possession of burglary tools after an arrest on the 100 block of Marshall Street. 

3:04 p.m., San Andreas — Robby Dale Ross, 47, of the 700 block of Ridge Road, Railroad Flat, was booked for violation of post-release community supervision after an arrest at the county probation department on East St. Charles Street.
