The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:52 a.m., warrant arrest — A 60-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant on South Stewart Street.

12:18 p.m., animal complaint — A mountain lion was spotted near West Church Street and Knowles Hill Drive. Police were unable to locate the animal but informed the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

1:57 p.m., traffic accident — A vehicle accident was reported on the 600 block of South Washington Street.

2:37 p.m., public intoxication — A 47-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, battery on a police officer and violation of probation on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

3:30 p.m., assault — A man said a taxi driver spit on him and made a derogatory comment.

9:14 p.m., property damage — A vehicle was vandalized on Stockton Road.

9:24 p.m., alcohol — A 28-year-old man was cited on suspicion of having an open container of alcohol in public on South Stewart Street.

10:22 p.m., public intoxication — A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at South Washington Street and Toby Lane. A small amount of marijuana was booked for destruction.

11:08 p.m., theft — Someone stole clothing from a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road and left in a vehicle.  

SATURDAY

9:27 a.m., traffic accident — A vehicle struck a telephone pole on South Barretta Street.

10:02 a.m., public peace — A 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace at Rotary Park.

12:47 p.m., warrant arrest — A 44-year-old man was arrested on a local misdemeanor warrant on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

6:57 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A lighted sign on the 700 block of Stockton Road was damaged.

SUNDAY

12:06 p.m., traffic violations — A woman was cited and released for suspicion of driving with a suspended license and driving without proof of registration on Greenley Road.

12:24 p.m., assault — Only documentation was requested after a man reportedly hit and dented someone’s truck during some sort of assault on the 300 block of South Washington Street. 

12:45 p.m., theft — A laptop was reported missing on Theall Street. 

5:45 p.m., theft — A woman was cited and released for petty theft after an arrest on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

7:47 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was identified and photographed by police at Rotary Park, Woods Creek Drive, after being flagged as suspicious by someone.

9:30 p.m., suspicious vehicle — Someone reported a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot on Old Wards Ferry Road. It was gone when officers arrived.

10:14 a.m., Long Barn — Copper piping was stolen from a cabin on the 25600 block of Upper Scenic Drive.

12:30 p.m., Twain Harte — A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive.

4:26 p.m., Columbia — Graffiti was painted on rocks and road signs at Parrotts Ferry and Springfield roads.

4:29 p.m., Sonora area — Someone was cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and not having auto insurance at Racetrack Road and Leland Drive.

4:48 p.m., La Grange — A small grass fire was reported at Highway 132 and Junction 59.

8:33 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said her neighbor put “clippings” on her property and threw a lit cigarette into the pile.

9:11 p.m., Sonora area — A man was cited on suspicion of driving without a license at Highway 108 and Mono Way.

9:15 p.m., Twain Harte — Teenagers stole merchandise from a business on the 22900 block of Joaquin Gully Road.

9:47 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said someone keyed her car on the 13700 block of Mono Way, threatened her and followed her across town.

SATURDAY

10:51 a.m., Twain Harte — Tools were stolen on the 22800 block of Black Oak Drive.

12:24 p.m., Sonoa area — A quilt and drapes were stolen from a carport on the 21800 block of Belleview Road.

3:39 p.m., East Sonora — Someone was caught shoplifting at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

8:01 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said she was driving on Tuolumne Road near

Standard Road and someone rear-ended her vehicle multiple times.

11:32 p.m., Sonora area — A deputy took a report for domestic battery on the 19500 block of Callahan Road.

SUNDAY

7:43 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone said people keep knocking on his door and harassing him on the 22400 block of Twain Harte Drive. The associated vehicles were gone when officers arrived. 

10:02 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone keeps unhooking hoses on a watering timer on the 23300 block of Tanager Drive.

10:42 a.m., Sonora — A woman said her neighbor has been harassing her for 13 years and she wants to start documenting it. She said he stands in the road and stares at her on the 20400 block of Midland Drive.

11:47 a.m., Phoenix Lake — Someone thought the neighborhood was being cased by two men and a woman in a vehicle on the 21200 block of Phoenix Lake Road.

1 p.m., Yosemite area — Someone said four Labrador dogs are causing problems near Hardin Flat Road and Highway 120. One charged them and all of them have no water. Animal Control said it would retrieve the dogs.

1:43 p.m., Columbia — A woman said her stepsons were out of control, swearing and throwing things on the 23300 block of Parrotts Ferry Road. One of them called and said his stepmother started a fight and he is afraid and is leaving on a bicycle.

1:55 p.m., Sonora — A gate was damaged and a vacation home possibly entered on the 8900 block of Fraguero Road.

2:23 p.m., Sonora — A woman said her car was keyed while parked in front of her ex-boyfriend’s house on the 14200 block of Kelly Loop. She suspects his new girlfriend. 

2:30 p.m., Big Oak Flat — Someone saw a man with a black helmet on a black motorcycle following a blonde woman who was on foot on Highway 120 and Old Priest Grade. The caller wanted someone to check on them.

3:28 p.m., East Sonora — A man said he was punched and his jaw was dislocated from the soon-to-be-ex-husband of the woman he is dating at Mono Way and Tuolumne Road.

4:43 p.m., Jamestown — An argument between a man and woman was reported on the 10300 block of Preston Lane. The woman left before officers arrived. 

5:11 p.m., Sonora — A woman reported threats from her stepfather on the 20800 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road.

6:15 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Someone said a man was standing near the side of a building the night before on the 24900 block of Highway 108 and said he was just making a phone call. Today the caller saw what might be a lot of blood in the area the man was standing. Officers didn’t locate anything that looked suspicious. 

6:47 p.m., Jamestown — A group of youths reportedly threw rocks through the caller’s window on the 18100 block of Sierra Avenue. The caller’s son followed them toward the apartments on Seco Street. 

7:12 p.m., Sonora — A woman was arrested for suspicion of disorderly conduct and violation of probation after someone called in loud noises and suspicious circumstances on the 12900 block of Mountain View Road.

7:27 p.m., Groveland — A burglary was reported on the 10900 block of Yosemite Springs Road. 

7:34 p.m., Pinecrest — Someone said a Sierra Conservation Center camp member drew a knife on another on the 100 block of Dodge Ridge Road.  

7:41 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone said her friend was being held hostage by her children in their early 20s on the 18600 block of Maple Avenue. She said the children yelled at their mother and one picked her up and put her in a bedroom and wouldn’t let her leave. 

9:28 p.m., Jamestown — A group of youths reportedly harassed their neighbors,  yelling and throwing rocks without causing any injury or damage, on the 18200 block of Fifth Avenue. The youths were counseled on harassing neighbors. 

11:42 p.m., Sonora area — Someone reported a prowler outside his trailer, possibly throwing gravel at it, on the 16600 block of Allison Way. 

11:57 p.m., Soulsbyville — Someone believes a young couple may have stolen property from the neighborhood around the 20700 block of Willow Springs Drive. He saw them drive past with a loaded pickup truck of items and had previously seen them walking around. 

MONDAY

1 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone was arrested on drug charges after someone heard suspicious activity at a vacant house at Black Oak Drive and Miner’s Avenue, including kids saying “we’ve got to be quiet.”

3:07 p.m., Chinese Camp — William Carlton Castner, 30, of the 13500 block of Red Hills Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest on Red Hills Road.

11:30 p.m., Sonora area — George Stephen Bannister, 57, of the 1400 block of Wards Ferry Road, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize after an arrest on Upper Quail Mine Road.

8:44 p.m., Sonora area —Lori Anne Joaquin, 49, of the 20900 block of Caylor Drive, Soulsbyville, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after an arrest at Sonora Regional Medical Center. She was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

5:27 p.m., Valley Springs — An officer assisted a situation in which a vehicle sank trying to launch a boat on Hogan Dam Road.

8:08 p.m., Valley Springs — A door was found pried open at a vacant property on Laurel Street.

8:19 p.m. Valley Springs — Someone reported a very loud firework explosion, “like a bomb,” at Berkesey Drive and Clair Court. Officers concluded the person who set off the fireworks had already been asked to leave.

9:21 p.m., Wilseyville — A man saw a prowler down by his mobile home on Blue Mountain Road. 

9:44 p.m., Valley Springs — Multiple flashlights were seen around the pond on Stabulis Road.

9:59 p.m., San Andreas — Someone said there was a fight in the cemetery on Pixley Avenue. There was no disturbance when an officer arrived.

10:12 p.m., San Andreas — Someone heard the metal gate on his driveway and then footsteps running away on Murraydale Lane.

12:09 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone was arrested on a local warrant for violation of probation on Highway 12.

1:48 a.m., Copperopolis — Two calls reported gunshots and bright lights on Pommel Way. A deputy found people target shooting who agreed to stop. 

4:23 a.m., Valley Springs — People were dressed in some sort of costumes, knocking on doors and climbing trees and rooftops on Daphne Street.

4:37 a.m., Copperopolis — Someone called in an unconscious person in a vehicle at O’Byrnes Ferry Road and Spangler Lane. The person was taking a nap.

8:11 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone said a door appeared to be forced open on Highway 12. The resident said it was left open.

8:34 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone called in a suspicious man with a gas can asking for rides to the gas station on Garner Place. 

9:50 a.m., Valley Springs — A man got a ride to put gas in his gas can, but forgot where his car was on Garner Place. 

10:21 a.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious person was reported at Lee and Stabulis roads.

10:31 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone reported a fight on Gill Ranch Road.

1:14 p.m., West Point — Target shooting was taking place near Robbinville Drive.

3:05 p.m., Campo Seco — A television was taken from a residence on Paloma Road, someone reported.

4:28 p.m., Valley Springs — Gunshots were reported near Dunn and Silver Rapids roads.

4:51 p.m., Railroad Flat — Someone called very upset talking about being chased in regards to breaking into someone’s house on Dogwood Pass. A woman was arrested for burglary and drug charges an hour later on Dogwood Pass.

6:46 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone thought people might be casing homes in the area of Campo Seco Road.

4:38 p.m., Angels Camp — Ryan Robert Dominguez, 44, of a Roseville address, was booked under suspicion of fraud to obtain aid of $400 or more and perjury after an arrest at Highway 4 and North Main Street.

12:22 a.m., Valley Springs — Lisa Marie Owens, 41, of the 2700 block of Dale Drive, was booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary, receiving known stolen property worth $400 or more and misdemeanor being under the influence of drugs after an arrest on the 3700 block of Dogwood Pass.

12:50 a.m., San Andreas — Gerhard Steven Gackle, 58, of the 2700 block of East Glenoaks Avenue, Glendale, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence, and unlawful possession of prescription drugs after an arrest at Highway 49 and Dogtown Road.

8:44 p.m., Sonora area —Lori Anne Joaquin, 49, of the 20900 block of Caylor Drive, Soulsbyville, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after an arrest at Sonora Regional Medical Center. She was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

1:03 a.m., Sonora area — Shane Michael Rivera, 22, of the 20100 block of Jamestown Road, was booked after an arrest at Wyckoff and Snell streets.

4:09 a.m., Jamestown — John Henry Vandam, 52, of the 22800 block of Bald Mountain Road, was booked after an arrest at Highway 49 and Fifth Avenue.

6:22 p.m., Sonora area — Donald Keith Lewis, 60, of an unknown address in Jamestown, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.

9:47 p.m., Sonora area — Amy June Patterson, of the 1100 block of West Alluvial Avenue, Fresno, was booked after an arrest on the 800 block of Morningstar Drive.

5:10 p.m., Arnold — Family members were arguing over a shirt on Anna Lee Way.

5:51 p.m., Wilseyville — Quads were stolen from a property on Bald Mountain Road.

8:24 p.m., West Point — Someone was arrested on an out-of-county warrant at Bald Mountain Road and Eganhoff Lane.

11:42 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone was arrested on a local warrant at Hogan Dam Road and Vista Del Lago Drive.

SATURDAY

12:46 a.m., Valley Springs — People were reported “hootin’ and hollerin’” while walking in the roadway at Highway 26 and Vista Del Lago Drive. A deputy contacted the people and counseled them.

7:09 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — Someone was cited on a violence-related charge on Golden Gate Drive.

9:10 a.m., Valley Springs — A report was taken for a disturbance over a custody dispute on Double Springs Road.

9:51 a.m., Valley Springs — Tools were reported stolen on Baldwin Street. 

12:10 p.m., Arnold — An artifact was reported stolen from a museum on Dunbar Road.

12:29 p.m., Murphys — Cash was reported stolen from a closed museum on Main Street. 

12:32 p.m., Glencoe — A mountain lion attacked and killed goats on a property on Highway 26, someone said.

12:53 p.m., San Andreas — Someone said items were stolen from a residence on Dogtown Road.

5:27 p.m., Valley Springs — An officer assisted a situation in which a vehicle sank trying to launch a boat on Hogan Dam Road.

8:08 p.m., Valley Springs — A door was found pried open at a vacant property on Laurel Street.

8:19 p.m. Valley Springs — Someone reported a very loud firework explosion, “like a bomb,” at Berkesey Drive and Clair Court. Officers concluded the person who set off the fireworks had already been asked to leave.

9:21 p.m., Wilseyville — A man saw a prowler down by his mobile home on Blue Mountain Road. 

9:44 p.m., Valley Springs — Multiple flashlights were seen around the pond on Stabulis Road.

9:59 p.m., San Andreas — Someone said there was a fight in the cemetery on Pixley Avenue. There was no disturbance when an officer arrived.

10:12 p.m., San Andreas — Someone heard the metal gate on his driveway and then footsteps running away on Murraydale Lane.

12:09 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone was arrested on a local warrant for violation of probation on Highway 12.

1:48 a.m., Copperopolis — Two calls reported gunshots and bright lights on Pommel Way. A deputy found people target shooting who agreed to stop. 

4:23 a.m., Valley Springs — People were dressed in some sort of costumes, knocking on doors and climbing trees and rooftops on Daphne Street.

4:37 a.m., Copperopolis — Someone called in an unconscious person in a vehicle at O’Byrnes Ferry Road and Spangler Lane. The person was taking a nap.

8:11 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone said a door appeared to be forced open on Highway 12. The resident said it was left open.

8:34 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone called in a suspicious man with a gas can asking for rides to the gas station on Garner Place. 

9:50 a.m., Valley Springs — A man got a ride to put gas in his gas can, but forgot where his car was on Garner Place. 

10:21 a.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious person was reported at Lee and Stabulis roads.

10:31 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone reported a fight on Gill Ranch Road.

1:14 p.m., West Point — Target shooting was taking place near Robbinville Drive.

3:05 p.m., Campo Seco — A television was taken from a residence on Paloma Road, someone reported.

4:28 p.m., Valley Springs — Gunshots were reported near Dunn and Silver Rapids roads.

4:51 p.m., Railroad Flat — Someone called very upset talking about being chased in regards to breaking into someone’s house on Dogwood Pass. A woman was arrested for burglary and drug charges an hour later on Dogwood Pass.

5:49 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A burglary was reported on Jojoba Lane.

6:46 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone thought people might be casing homes in the area of Campo Seco Road.

8:29 p.m., West Point — Wade Clinton Springer, 22, of the 2800 block of Eganhoff Lane, was booked on suspicion of causing a structure or forest fire after an arrest at Eganhoff Lane and Bald Mountain Road.

12:27 a.m., San Andreas — Anthony William Juarez, 22, of the 400 block of Toyanza Street, was booked on suspicion of inflicting child cruelty possibly leading to injury or death, inflicting injury upon a child and conspiracy after an arrest at University of California, Davis. 

1:54 p.m., San Andreas — Kelly Rose Kenny, 22, of the 400 block of Toyanza Drive, was booked on suspicion of inflicting child cruelty possibly leading to injury or death and conspiracy after an arrest at her home.

4:38 p.m., Angels Camp — Ryan Robert Dominguez, 44, of a Roseville address, was booked under suspicion of fraud to obtain aid of $400 or more and perjury after an arrest at Highway 4 and North Main Street. 

SUNDAY

12:22 a.m., Valley Springs — Lisa Marie Owens, 41, of the 2700 block of Dale Drive, was booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary, receiving known stolen property worth $400 or more and misdemeanor being under the influence of drugs after an arrest on the 3700 block of Dogwood Pass.

12:50 a.m., San Andreas — Gerhard Steven Gackle, 58, of the 2700 block of East Glenoaks Avenue, Glendale, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence, and unlawful possession of prescription drugs after an arrest at Highway 49 and Dogtown Road.
