TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

4:11 a.m., disorderly conduct — Someone heard women arguing and one woman crying on West Lane. Officers concluded it was only verbal and the women are separating for the night.

10:14 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone said three men went through his things outside and entered his house uninvited without knocking while looking for someone who used to live there on Mono Way. They left when asked to, he said.

10:29 a.m., vandalism — Someone threw a rock at sheet metal on Hospital Road. The caller requested extra patrol at night.

11:04 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Two callers said they found a cluster of mailboxes open in the back on Oakside Drive. There was no sign of tampering, confirmed by an officer. 

12:53 p.m., fraudulent activities — Someone said they received two calls from people claiming to be with a Medicare card insurance group asking for suspicious information on South Stewart Street. They asked for the person’s address and bank information, but the person did not give those to them.

6:33 p.m., public intoxication — A man was arrested for suspicion of public intoxication on Oak Street. 

6:58 p.m., domestic violence — A woman said she was the victim of domestic violence on Maple Street. The man allegedly responsible was not found and police issued an emergency protective order for the woman. 

8:44 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A car pulled into a parking lot at a business on the 100 block of Columbia Way, and someone said the people inside just loitered around. 

11:06 p.m., theft — Someone said a woman may have stolen something or received stolen goods and is about to leave the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. She was gone when officers arrived and the caller asked for nothing further.

FRIDAY

1:11 a.m., disorderly conduct — Someone said a neighbor was flashing a spotlight in his or her front door on Snell Street. No one answered the officer who went to the neighbor’s home.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following: 

THURSDAY

8:17 a.m., Twain Harte — A man said he is continuously harassed by his wife on the 23000 block of Fuller Road.

10:39 a.m., East Sonora — Someone said a man got out of a truck, picked up a gas nozzle, dropped it on the ground and left from the 20600 block of Soulsbyville Road. Officers concluded it was not an intentional act of vandalism. 

10:48 a.m., Sonora — Someone said they were pushed out of a residence on the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road. The alleged pusher and a witness said there was no pushing, she just slammed the door.

10:56 a.m., Sonora — Someone said neighbors are harassing each other on the 16800 block of Allison Way. An officer advised both parties to document things themselves and call the Sheriff’s Office when they need them.

11:43 a.m., Long Barn — A landlord said a new tenant arrived and found someone living under the house on the 26500 block of Crystal Road. The deputy investigating found no indication of anyone living under the house.

11:54 a.m., Jamestown — Someone said a woman has been screaming at kids for two hours, the kids are crying and it sounds like she’s hitting them on the 10500 block of Suzanne Court. The woman said she did yell at her daughter and spanked her for not obeying. The child said she was fine and was wrong for not listening. 

12:19 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said a Volkswagen bus was leaking a small amount of gas from its gas tank on the 18200 block of Main Street. The owner drove away and the caller was advised to put kitty litter on the remaining gas pool.

1:28 p.m., Columbia — Someone said a young woman was being treated for a few minor injuries received from a confrontation with an older man she knows on the 1000 block of Greenley Road.

1:47 p.m., Sonora — A woman received harassing texts from her ex-boyfriend on the 10200 block of Highway 49.

3:26 p.m., Sonora — A woman came into the Sheriff’s Office concerned about being stalked. About 30 minutes later, she was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

4:53 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone reported assault on the 20100 block of Tuolumne Road. Deputies concluded it was not assault and then the person wanted advice on banking and relationship problems. Advice was given.

4:59 p.m., Sonora — A woman said she put up signs on her shared driveway saying “Slow” and her neighbors put up signs saying “We will not stop. Over my dead body,” on the 9500 block of Highway 49.

6:16 p.m., Pinecrest — A man said he went inside to get his mail on the 400 block of Pinecrest Lake Road and when he came out, his windshield was smashed. 

7:05 p.m., Columbia — Neighbors were arguing over the placement of garbage cans on the 22900 block of Solo Lane. One stated that after the argument, the other said “may you have a short life, sir.”

9:38 p.m., Groveland — An iPhone and iPad were reported stolen from a camper’s tent on the 11400 block of Cherry Lake Road.

10:13 p.m., Twain Harte — A man was arrested on the 19100 block of Highlander Drive on suspicion of violating his “be good” court order. 

FRIDAY

12:17 a.m., Jamestown — A woman called in concern over people circling around the neighborhood in a car who said they were playing hide and seek on the 10000 block of Fallen Leaf Drive. The responding officer saw a similar car and confirmed that it was registered to someone living on that road, and didn’t pull them over. When the caller was told this, she said she would have to die before the Sheriff’s Office would do anything and walked away. 

1:10 a.m., Sonora — A woman said she was just beat up by her husband on the 12100 block of Campo Seco Road.

3:47 a.m., Jamestown — Jacob Arthur Spiller, 38, a transient, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, marijuana possession, and mishandling of someone else’s lost property after an arrest on the 18100 block of Fifth Street. 

10:32 p.m., Sonora — Nashe Tyler Dake, 22, a transient, was booked on suspicion of burglary after an arrest on Susan Way.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

11:31 a.m., Copperopolis — A credit card skimmer was found at a business on the 100 block of Reeds Turnpike. 

12:07 p.m., Copperopolis — Neighbors were in an argument on Feather Court. They agreed to separate. 

12:09 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A verbal dispute reportedly “ended in spilt milk” on Lombardi Drive.

2 p.m., Arnold — Someone said he or she was challenged to a fight on Stephanie Drive.

2:26 p.m., San Andreas — Someone reported a violation of court order at the Sheriff’s Office.

5:15 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone reported a forged payroll check at a business on the 100 block of South Highway 49.

7:05 p.m., San Andreas — Someone said people were going through a garbage bin and littering on East Saint Charles Street.

8:46 p.m., San Andreas — A man was arrested on misdemeanor charges for suspicion of inflicting willful cruelty to a child, fighting in a public place and one pending charge after a disturbance on the 300 block of Pope Street.

11:27 p.m., Arnold — Someone said gunshots were fired across the street on Pebble Beach Way.

1:19 a.m., San Andreas — Someone said a man ran with a bicycle and put it in the back of a truck on Main Street.

THURSDAY

1:31 a.m., San Andreas — Kyle Allan Rogers, 29, of the 200 block of Grave Way, Scotts Valley, was booked on suspicion of evading a peace officer with wanton disregard for safety and misdemeanor driving under the influence, obstructing a public officer and driving with a suspended license after an arrest on Highway 4 at Pool Station Road.

9:50 p.m., Valley Springs — Gregory David Lacanfora, 40, of the 8800 block of Redman Road, was booked after an arrest at St. Andrews Road and Highway 26.
