CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

10:05 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was causing a disturbance at a business on Mountain Ranch Road. 

11:49 a.m., San Andreas — Someone reported a suspicious woman in black sitting in front of a store on East Saint Charles Street.

12:29 p.m., West Point — A break in and theft was reported on Skull Flat Road.

1:37 p.m., San Andreas — A break in was reported at a business on West Saint Charles Street.

8:51 p.m., Hathaway Pines — A truck was found with its windshield and side window broken out at Glen Echo Drive and Hillcrest Drive.

9:49 p.m., Murphys — Someone reported a disturbance on Williams Street. 

9:58 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — An arrest was made for violating a restraining order after a disturbance involving a backhoe on Rich Gulch Court.

10:24 p.m., Wallace — Multiple gunshots were heard over the last 10 minutes near Limestone Drive.

11:47 p.m., San Andreas — An altercation was reported at a business on West St. Charles Street.

10:22 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Tabitha Marie Huntley, 24, of the 8900 block of Mokelumne Hill, was booked after an arrest on the 9000 block of Center Street. 

Arrests 

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

12:43 a.m., Arnold — Michael Charles Colston II, 21, of the 800 block of Summit View Road, was arrested on the 100 block of Highway 4. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of violation of probation.

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

11:08 a.m., traffic accidents — A semi-truck hit a sign at West Stockton Street and Highway 108.

12:40 p.m., battery — A woman was arrested after an altercation including throwing things at her roommate’s boyfriend on Mono Way.

2:06 p.m., drugs — An officer responded to a drug call on Sanguinetti Road.

4:13 p.m., warrant arrests — A man was arrested on warrants for drug charges on North Stewart Street.

6:33 p.m., theft — A woman was cited and released for larceny on Sanguinetti Road.

7:46 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A young man was digging through a trash bin on Ponderosa Drive. Officers concluded he was collecting recyclables with permission.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

3:53 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone called in a verbal argument between several people at East Avenue and Sequoia Drive.

7:38 a.m., Sonora — Someone reported 30 Tramadol and 30 Oxycodone pills stolen from his bathroom on the 11700 block of Campo Seco Road. He believes it was one of the young men that helped renovate his house.

8:09 a.m., Sonora — A man said he was threatened by another man on the 22600 block of Wildcat Ridge Road. The one making threats said the other would be hurt by multiple people.

8:11 a.m., Jamestown — Several cars were ransacked overnight, but nothing was taken, someone reported on the 10300 block of Willow Street. Also, someone was ringing doorbells and running away between 1 and 7 a.m.

8:18 a.m., Jamestown — Someone reported two signs on the 10300 block of Preston Lane were graffitied recently. He believes overnight. 

10:30 a.m., Sonora — A woman has been receiving harassing phone calls from an ex-family member through marriage on the 15500 block of Buena Vista Avenida. 

10:37 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man decided he wanted to report an assault from a week and a half ago when his neighbor slapped him on the 23900 block of Redwood Court. 

10:48 a.m., Sonora — A son is reporting that his father is “in his face and attacking him” on the 19300 block of Susan Way. 

10:53 a.m., Jamestown — A tire was slashed on the 18100 block of Sixth Avenue after 10 p.m. the night before. Someone said youths may have slashed others that night.

11:12 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said a man called threatening her about his car parked at her house on the 9000 block of Friendship Hill Road. The man has also threatened the man who brought the car there, who he was in a fight with before.

12:48 p.m., Sonora — Someone reported damage to a back door and the back door being wide open on the 20700 block of North Sunshine Road.

12:56 p.m., Sonora — Two women blamed each other for starting an argument on the 20100 block of Cedar Road North.

2:22 p.m., Jamestown — A man reported his daughter’s boyfriend made threats while being kicked out of a residence on the 18100 block of Ninth Avenue. He told the caller’s son he will be “the first one I take care of,” and that “he’s gone.”

2:31 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said a man and woman were arguing at Third Avenue and 10th Street. Others nearby didn’t hear anything.

2:54 p.m., Sonora — A woman said she was being harassed by another woman by phone, email and Facebook on the 16600 block of Creekside Drive. She didn’t know why she was being harassed, but said this woman may have spoken to her boyfriend. 

3:15 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone reported his or her home broken into on June 12 on the 23500 block of Middle Camp Road. The locks were changed and $20,000 worth of property was stolen. It is part of a mortgage fraud, they said.

3:33 p.m., Sonora — A man said vehicles had driven to his house twice, with suspicious people getting out and looking at his house on the 14500 block of Booker Road. When he confronted the people, both times they said they were looking for “Nick.”

4:11 p.m., Jamestown — Someone reported ATM fraud at a business on the 14500 block of Mono Way. 

4:24 p.m., Sonora —  Someone said a house may have been burglarized on the 14100 block of Oak Knoll Road.

5:33 p.m., Sonora — Medication was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 20000 block of Cedar Road North.

6:51 p.m., Jamestown — Someone heard a man yelling for help, then yelling “get off of me” and heard someone getting hit. Horns honking and cars coming and going were also heard at East Brookside Drive and Kewin Mill Road.

8:48 p.m., East Sonora — A call was transferred to California Highway Patrol regarding a driver hitting a wall at a business on the 14200 block of Tuolumne Road and driving off.

8:49 p.m., Jamestown — Someone reported being harassed on the 18500 block of Rawhide Road by the same two men harassing each other over the car.

9:51 p.m., Jamestown — A suspicious red pickup truck was reported on the 10700 block of Wigwam Road.

10 p.m., Sonora — Someone requested a patrol check on a smaller truck with loud exhaust driving around the neighborhood on the 21800 block of Paseo De Los Portales. 

10:16 p.m., Tuolumne — A man was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence after a disturbance on the 18900 block of Mill Site Road.

WEDNESDAY

12:58 a.m., East Sonora — Carlos Rene Canez, 24, of the 13200 block of Arnistead Circle, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest at Highway 108 and Draper Mine Road.

7:55 p.m., Tuolumne — Ryan Ray Timmons, 26, of the 19300 block of Portofino Court, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury after an arrest at his home.

2:26 a.m., Sonora area — Taylor Ellis Rose, 24, of the 22600 block of Bret Harte Drive, was booked after an arrest on Phoenix Lake Road, east of Silver Trail. She also was held on a misdemeanor charge of hit-and-run property damage.
