TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

9:50 a.m., traffic violation — A 32-year-old man was cited on suspicion of speeding and driving with a suspended license on the 200 block of Greenley Road.

12:07 p.m., theft — A license plate was stolen from a motorcycle on South Forest Road.

12:25 p.m., reckless driving — An underage girl was seen driving with a beer in her hand at South Stewart and Jackson streets. Police were unable to locate her.

2:31 p.m., reckless driving — An officer admonished a reckless driver on Shaws Flat Road.

2:59 p.m., drugs — A 46-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of drugs on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

4:54 p.m., warrant arrest — A 28-year-old man was arrested on a felony violation of parole warrant on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road.

6:13 p.m., reckless driving — A vehicle spun two doughnuts at the intersection of South Washington Street and Stockton Road.

TUESDAY

1:55 a.m., warrant arrest — A 41-year-old woman was arrested on felony warrants for possession of drugs and possession of drugs for sale, and a misdemeanor warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:53 a.m., Columbia — A vehicle was stolen on the 23300 block of Gold Springs Drive.

10:04 a.m., Sonora area — A possible fire was reported on the 16300 block of Caddo Circle. 

10:41 a.m., Columbia — Numerous items were taken from a residence on the 16900 block of Columbia River Drive.

11:36 a.m., Tuolumne — A residence on the 18900 block of Carter Street was burglarized.

12:51 p.m., Sonora area — A vehicle’s windshield was broken while parked on the 21600 block of Wasatch Mountain Drive.

12:57 p.m., Sonora area — A business on the 14900 block of Camage Avenue reported an employee stole $1,350 in cash.

1:04 p.m., East Sonora — An iPad was stolen from a business on the 20000 block of Highway 108.

2:03 p.m., Crystal Falls — Shoes and a gas can were stolen from a property on the 22500 block of Rhine River Drive.

4:58 p.m., Jamestown — A watering system installed for pigs was disconnected and their feed shed was knocked over on the 17000 block of Chicken Ranch Road.

5:14 p.m., Twain Harte — A possible lightning fire was reported on the 21200 block of Knox Drive.

5:17 p.m., Soulsbyville — A possible lightning fire was reported on the 21300 block of Oman Drive.

6:18 p.m., East Sonora — Someone was assaulted at the homeless camp at Mono Way and Sullivan Creek Road.

8:34 p.m., Columbia — A camping chair was stolen from a porch on the 22500 block of Parrotts Ferry Road. The resident of the home said small thefts from his porch are an ongoing problem.

TUESDAY

12:55 a.m., East Sonora — A man was arrested after knocking on and trying to pry open a window of a fast food drive-through on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

2:28 a.m., Sonora — A mountain lion was spotted at Lyons Bald Mountain and Greenley roads.

7:17 a.m., Jamestown — Tires and wheels were stolen from a vehicle at a car dealership on the 18400 block of Fifth Avenue.

3:37 p.m., Sonora — Justin Arthur White, 33, a transient, was booked on suspicion of bringing alcohol or drugs into a jail and selling controlled substances to an inmate after an arrest at Tuolumne County Jail.

10:15 a.m., Sonora — Kip Randall Worden, 54, of the 18300 block of Lime Kiln Road, was booked after an arrest at Sonora Regional Medical Center.

MONDAY

9:43 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs on Highway 49 near Fourth Crossing Road.

12:49 p.m., Arnold — An $800 chain saw was stolen from a residence on Ponderosa Road. 

12:54 p.m., Douglas Flat — Someone with an impounded vehicle threatened to burn down a towing business on Highway 4.

3:51 p.m., San Andreas — Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

5:51 p.m., Copperopolis — Burglary was reported on Quail Hill Road.

7:29 p.m., Valley Springs — A sliding glass door at vacant house with sale pending was shattered.

4:19 a.m., Valley Springs — Prowling was reported on Heney Court.

4:56 a.m., Jenny Lind — Prowling was reported on Main Street.

3:45 p.m., San Andreas — Melissa Anne Smith, 33, of the 2500 block of Swansboro Road, Placerville, was booked on suspicion of kidnapping after an arrest at the Calaveras County District Attorney’s Office.

8:02 p.m., Burson — Tamara Marie Sutton, 45, of the 12300 block of Steadman Ranch Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale after an arrest at her home.
