The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

8:46 a.m., Sonora — A suspicious man walked into a woman’s house on the 16500 block of Westwood Circle and told her that she was in purgatory. She thinks the man may also have stolen a car from a nearby house.

8:54 a.m., Sonora Meadows  — A car was reported stolen on the 16500 block of Sallander Drive.

10:06 a.m., Jamestown — Someone stole a battery charger from a porch on 18700 block of Highway 108.

10:37 a.m., Columbia — A couple on Parrotts Ferry Road reported seeing a suspicious man washing his clothes in New Melones Reservoir.

10:48 a.m., Jamestown — A woman found two spent rounds of ammunition in front of her home on the 9300 block of Field Stone Lane.

11:22 a.m., Sonora area — Someone ran their truck through their neighbor’s fence on the 15100 block of Mountain Lily Road.

11:45 a.m., Jamestown — A man on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said his neighbor was threatening his wife.

2:29 p.m., Columbia — A woman on the 23600 block of Parrotts Ferry Road said her mother’s credit cards were stolen.

3:32 p.m., East Sonora — A man punched the window of a business on the 12000 block on Mono Way.

15:38 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man on the 17400 block of Carlozzi Drive said his girlfriend slapped him in the face.

4:02 p.m., Jamestown — Two women were fighting in a parking lot on the 10200 block of Preston Lane.

4:16 p.m., Don Pedro — A couple was arguing and a loud bang described as a possible gunshot was heard on the 13500 block of Canada Street.

5:08 p.m., Sonora area  — A man threatened to shoot a process server on the 16600 block of Charles Otter Drive.

6:38 p.m., Groveland — A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 19600 block of Elder Lane. 

7:12 p.m., Jamestown — Two men fought on the 10600 block of Reservoir Road.

7:55 p.m., Tuolumne — A man stole a water heater from a house on Laurel Avenue and Cedar Street.

8:10 p.m., Columbia — A screen door was vandalized on the 12000 block of Yankee Hill Road.

TUESDAY 

5:32 a.m., Columbia — Two people were seen on a woman’s property on Italian Bar Road with a shovel. She believes one is her ex-husband. 

8:36 a.m., Twain Harte — A female was seen stomping on the hood of a car on the 22900 block of Joaquin Gully Road. 

8:54 a.m., Sonora area — A woman was screaming outside a house on the 22600 block of Wildcat Ridge Road about the president trying to kill her. She was arrested. 

8:59 a.m., Columbia — Two chain saws were stolen from a residence on the 22400 block of Church Lane. 

9:25 a.m., Crystal Falls — A suspicious-looking man was seen on a property on 21200 Crystal Falls Drive who wouldn’t respond when spoken to. Authorities determined it was the home owner. 

9:58 a.m., Jamestown — Someone claimed multiple thefts have occurred over time at the 18300 block of Main Street.

11:30 a.m., Jamestown — A person came into a woman’s home on the 10300 block of Willow Street on Friday night and stole her identification and insurance card. 

2:56 p.m., Jamestown — A man was drunk at a woman’s home on on the 18500 block of Jamestown Road and refusing to leave. 

3:23 p.m., Phoenix Lake — A woman said she believes that her dog and a neighbor’s dog were poisoned Sunday night on the 15400 block of Paseo De Los Robles. She is concerned that this was done to break into her home.

4:22 p.m., Twain Harte — A car was scratched on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive. 

7:00 p.m., Sonora area— A storage unit was broken into on the 12800 block of Covey Circle. 

8:11 p.m., Sonora area — A person was sexually assaulted on the 16600 block of Allison Way. 

8:25 p.m., Long Barn — A woman requested a man be removed from her home on the 25800 block of Long Barn Sugar Pine Road. Two people were arrested.

9:09 p.m., Sonora area — A man broke into two homes on the 19500 block of Roselyn Lane. 

10:43 p.m., Columbia — A woman fell to the ground and screamed and a black Honda spun out and drove away quickly on Springfield Road. The woman and car could not be found. 

11:32 p.m., Sonora area — Two teenagers came to a woman’s door on the 21600 block of Wasatch Mountain Drive and said they were her neighbors and wanted to introduce themselves. When she asked why they were visiting so late, they left. 

Felony bookings

MONDAY

9:14 a.m., Sonora — Michael Dennis Urban, 24, of the 21700 block of Mountain Drive, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft and burglary after an arrest and Crestview and South Creekside drives.

4:40 p.m., Sonora — Lawrence Mitchell Gates, 34, of the 200 block of Hospital Road, was booked on suspicion of violation of post release community supervision after an arrest on the 1100 block of Highway 49.

9:43 p.m., Tuolumne — Ayres Daniel Tome, 55, of the 18500 block of Cedar Street, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary, receiving stolen property and theft after an arrest at his home. 

TUESDAY

8:17 p.m., Jamestown — Adam Wayne Helt, 30, of the 300 block of Peach Avenue, Clovis, was booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after an arrest at Highway 49 and Montezuma Road.

9:03 p.m., Long Barn — Edward Moore Crow, 51, of the 25600 block of Upper Scenic Drive, was booked on suspicion of damaging a telephone or power line after an arrest at the 25800 block of Long Barn-Sugar Pine Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

12:02 p.m., theft — Medication was stolen from a house on Snell Street.

1:39 p.m., disorderly conduct  — A man and woman were arguing on South Sonora Avenue.

1:50 p.m., assault — A woman was arrested on suspicion of assault on South Washington Street.

3:05 p.m., traffic accidents — A traffic accident occurred on Sanguinetti Road.  

4:04 p.m., controlled substances — Transients were smoking marijuana in front of business on Stockton Road.

5:12 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was trying to break the lock off a door of a building on South Washington Street.

6:47 p.m., traffic violations — A possible intoxicated driver almost hit a person and side-swiped two parked cars near South Washington Street and Stockton Road.

TUESDAY

10:41 a.m., disorderly conduct — A man dressed in black was acting suspiciously and challenged two people to a fight on the 700 block of Mono Way. He was arrested. 

2:53 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person reported that the door was open at a house on North Forest Road when no one was home. An officer found the door was closed and everything was secure. 

3:33 p.m., theft — A person reported that someone stole both license plates off a vehicle either Friday or Saturday. 

6:23 p.m., reckless driving — A person was recklessly driving and possibly under the influence at the 90 block of South Washington Street. 

6:48 p.m., disorderly conduct — A person caused a disturbance on the 700 block of Mono Way. 

8:06 p.m., harassment — A person received an inappropriate text message on the 200 block of Greenley Road. The officer informed this person of the restraining order process. 

9:59 p.m., public intoxication — A woman appeared under the influence on the 100 block of South Green Street. 

10:32 p.m., domestic dispute — A woman said her husband was committing adultery on South Barretta Street. The officer informed her this is not a crime and advised of the proper use of 911. 

11:36 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was observed with a flashlight near the high school baseball field on Shaws Flat Road. The man turned off the flashlight and began following the caller. Police were unable to locate him. 

WEDNESDAY 

12:09 a.m., Sonora — A man and woman were lying in the parking lot on the 500 block of West Stockton Road. They were asked to leave. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

10:08 a.m. Angels Camp — Someone was arrested after changing clothes in bushes on Highway 49.

11:20 a.m., Valley Springs — Jewelry, equipment and other items were stolen on Partridge Drive.

2:38 p.m., Vallecito — Someone was possibly driving while intoxicated on Highway 4 and Parrotts Ferry Road.

2:41 p.m., Angels Camp — Vandalism occurred on Whittle Road.

5:41 p.m., Valley Springs — A house on Cassidy Road was burglarized. 

7:57 p.m., Copperopolis — A woman said her neighbor was threatening to harm her cats on Iroquois Court. Someone else reported the same people arguing over cats. 

8:21 p.m., Burson — Someone reported seeing a man and woman walking with a stroller close to the roadway on Highway 49.

TUESDAY

9:37 a.m., Valley Springs — There was a suspicious person on Highway 4 and Milton Road. 

11:25 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — There was a suspicious person on Highway 26 and Italian Vista Drive.

12:14 p.m., Valley Springs — There was a suspicious person on Gabor Street.

12:29 p.m., Valley Springs — A theft occurred from a vehicle on Paloma Road. 

12:36 p.m., San Andreas — A person caused a disturbance on the 300 block of High School Street. 

1:05 p.m., Valley Springs — There was a suspicious vehicle near Daphne Street and Pine Street. 

1:14 p.m., Angels Camp — A person keeps firing a firearm from a vehicle as it drives up and down Pool Station Road and Riata Way. 

1:23 p.m., Angels Camp — A person was firing a weapon on the 7600 block of Pool Station Road. 

2:01 p.m., Valley Springs — A person cut the lock off a barn on Berkesey Lane. 

2:37 p.m., Angels Camp — There was a suspicious person on the 100 block of Selkirk Ranch Road. 

4:40 p.m., Glencoe — Someone positioned as if holding a gun followed a person on Ridge Road and Independence Road. 

8:06 p.m., Angels Camp — Two people were in a verbal argument on Park Avenue and North Main Street. 

11:30 p.m., Burson — A person may have been prowling on Evergreen Road because a motion sensor keeps going off. 

WEDNESDAY

12:17 a.m., Valley Springs — Kids were skateboarding and being loud on Baldwin Street and Gabor Street. 

12:48 a.m., Valley Springs — A person shined a spotlight onto someone inside their home on Bright Star Road. 

12:56 a.m., Valley Springs — A male may have been trespassing, because he walked by with a flashlight on Baldwin Street. 

1:46 a.m., West Point — A verbal altercation occurred on Main Street. 

5:45 a.m., Valley Springs — There was a suspicious person on Westhill Road and McAtee Street. 

8:24 a.m., Copperopolis — There was a suspicious person on Copper Cove Court and O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

TUESDAY 

9:11 a.m., Valley Springs — Bradley Joseph Flores, 43, of the 2300 block of Blake Lane, was booked on suspicion of cruelty to animals, possession of a controlled substance, owning a firearm or ammunition while prohibited and misdemeanor charges of possession of a switchblade knife, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, and confining an animal with inadequate exercise area after an arrest at his home. 

2:33 p.m., Valley Springs — Jacob Logan Padgett, 18, of the 4900 block of Driver Road, was booked on suspicion of vandalism of $400 worth of property or more after an arrest on the 300 block of High School Street.
