The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

SATURDAY

9:39 p.m., Jamestown — Dina Antoinette Avelar, 43, of the 600 block of Centre Court Drive, Tracy, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 at Main Street.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

5:05 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone reported that two children were hypnotized on the roof of City Hall. Officers on scene said there were no children on the roof, and the reporting person left the area.

9:28 a.m., burglary — A 48-year-old man suspected of breaking into a church on Stockton Road was arrested on a public intoxication charge.

12:37 p.m., animal complaint — Two pit bull puppies, about eight weeks old, were found wandering in the area of Alpine Lane and taken to Animal Control.

12:56 p.m., traffic violations — Cell phone enforcement was conducted on North Washington Street. Five traffic stops resulted with three citations issued and two warnings given.

2:39 p.m., suspicious circumstances — The man arrested on a public intoxication charge earlier at a church on Stockton Road had returned and was told to leave or he would face a trespassing charge.

5:35 p.m., traffic accident — A vehicle hit a parked car on South Washington Street, taking the car door off. It landed in the roadway. 

SATURDAY

7:28 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Blank credit cards and other suspicious credit cards were found in a hotel room drawer on the 100 block of South Washington Street after guests checked out.

12:10 p.m., burglary — A home on South Sonora Avenue was burglarized. 

SUNDAY

2:54 a.m., public intoxication — A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Mono and Restano ways.

8:15 a.m., vehicle theft — A motorcycle was stolen overnight on Oregon Street.

8:54 a.m., fraud — Identity theft was reported on Symons Lane.

3:32 p.m., drugs — A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, public intoxication and violating the city’s open container law at South Green Street and West Bradford Avenue.

7:23 p.m., assault — Assault was reported on the 400 block of Greenley Road. Police were searching for a suspect for assault with a deadly weapon, violation of a restraining order and violation of parole.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:59 p.m., Angels Camp — A storage unit on the 2200 block of Highway 49 was burglarized.

1:27 p.m., Copperopolis — A woman said her neighbors had a video camera pointed at her house on Bow Drive.

3:02 a.m., Arnold — Battery was reported in a road rage incident on the 2100 block of Highway 4.

3:17 p.m., San Andreas — A driver had an open container of beer in the vehicle and was buying more at a business on the 400 block of West St. Charles Street.

7:52 p.m., Burson — A possible road rage incident was reported on Burson Road.

9:06 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested after stealing beer from a store on the 400 block of West St. Charles Street.

9:55 p.m., Camp Connell — People broke into a cabin on Meko Drive and have been living there.

11:11 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested after a fight on the 1300 block of Calaveritas Road.

SATURDAY

1:33 p.m., Arnold — People living illegally in a residence on Camanche Drive were also in possession of drugs.

4:46 p.m., Copperopolis — An intoxicated woman fell out of a boat on Lake Tulloch while trying to tie it to the dock. The boat hit the dock and damaged it.

5:03 p.m., Valley Springs — Yard lights were stolen from a property on La Contenta Drive.

SUNDAY

11:26 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was walking down Highway 49 and flipping off people at a gas station on the 400 block of West St. Charles Street.

7:32 p.m., Valley Springs — Theft was reported on Bartelink Drive.

7:40 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A 51-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs on the 8900 block of Happy Valley Road. 

10:51 p.m., Murphys — Assault was reported at a bar on the 100 block of Big Trees Road.

FRIDAY

9:09 p.m., San Andreas — Dayne Bryson Yarbrough, 27, of the 200 block of East St. Charles Street, was booked on suspicion of second degree burglary after an arrest on the 400 block of West St. Charles Street. 

SATURDAY

12:47 a.m., San Andreas — Gail Mahilani Ryan, 56, of the 1300 block of Calaveritas Road, was booked on suspicion of elder abuse and battery with serious bodily injury after an arrest at her home.

2:03 a.m., Murphys — Joseph Edward White, 28, of the 1100 block of Bret Harte Road, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor warrant for driving with a suspended license after an arrest on the 100 block of Highway 4.

3:19 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Sean Alexander Jusa, 24, of San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of violation of parole after an arrest on Ham Luddy Road.

SUNDAY

7:54 a.m., Valley Springs — Manuel Eddie Lopez Jr., 20, of the 6600 block of Garner Place, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize, first degree burglary and stalking after an arrest on the 2300 block of Highway 26. 

3:55 p.m., Valley Springs — Jennifer Ann Lisowski, 39, of the 6500 block of Baldwin Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon or addict and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person after an arrest at her home.

7:15 p.m., Valley Springs — Tommy Earl Jones, 55, of the 900 block of St. Andrews Street, was booked on suspicion of violation of parole after an arrest on the 100 block of Highway 26.
