Two hurt in Jamestown Road wreck

Two people were injured this morning in an auto accident on Jamestown Road.

 

The solo-car crash was reported at 7:23 a.m.

A green Honda two-door Civic was traveling on Jamestown Road when the driver lost control of the car and hit a utility pole, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A CHP officer on scene said the driver was going too fast.

The driver suffered minor to moderate injuries. The passenger, who had to be cut out of the car, suffered moderate to major injuries, CHP said.

The accident happened near Golf Links Road.
