TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

2:37 p.m., animal complaints — A dog ran into the back tire of a moving vehicle on the 500 block of Stockton Road. The driver left the scene and the dog was taken to a veterinarian by its owner.

4:56 p.m., theft  — Two juvenile females were cited on suspicion of petty theft, conspiracy and possession of stolen property on South Washington Street. They were released to their parents.

5:49 p.m., warrant arrest — A 20-year-old man was arrested on a felony no-bail warrant on Yaney Avenue.

6:20 p.m., vandalism — A woman’s tires were slashed while she was visiting someone at Tuolumne County Jail.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:04 a.m., Jamestown — A mailbox was dented and thrown into a yard on the 10500 block of Jim Brady Road. 

11:31 a.m., Twain Harte — A gate was cut on the 17600 block of Mount Elizabeth Drive.

12:01 p.m., Sonora area — Recyclables, sheet metal and wire was stolen from a property on the 19600 block of Serrano Road. 

12:50 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman said her daughter was attacked by a neighbor’s dog on the 20900 block of Creek Court.

1:03 p.m., Sonora area — Vandalism was reported at Head Start Preschool on Shaws Flat Road. Window screens were bent, toys were thrown around the playground, two bikes were left down the street and a surveillance camera was covered with a traffic cone.

5:02 p.m., Jamestown — Nails and shards of glass were found in a pig trough on the 17000 block of Chicken Ranch Road. 

5:53 p.m., Sonora area — A chain saw was stolen from a residence on the 20200 block of Gibbs Drive.

WEDNESDAY

12:09 a.m., Sonora area — People were trying to break into a vehicle at Tuolumne and Soulsbyville roads.

TUESDAY

7:20 a.m., Soulsbyville — Dale Bradley Olson, 56, of the 19800 block of Soulsbyville Road, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury after an arrest at his home. 

9:25 a.m., Sonora — Aaron Randall Hagerman, 30, of the 600 block of Cielo Vista Way, was booked on suspicion of violation of post release community supervision after an arrest on the 100 block of Yaney Avenue.

1:18 p.m., Sonora area — Randall Hall Banks, 50, of the 164000 block of Caddo Court, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs on Fairview Lane.

4:45 p.m., Sonora area — Kristopher James Randi, 22, of the 17900 block of Seco Street, Jamestown, was booked after an arrest on the 100 block of Stockton Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

1:56 p.m., Arnold — Someone tried to hot wire a brush grinding machine on Valley View Drive.

2:59 p.m., San Andreas — A suspicious package was reported on the 1200 block of Gold Hunter Road but it turned out to be a geocache.

3:59 p.m., Valley Springs — The snack bar at a baseball field on Paloma Road was vandalized.

5:51 p.m., San Andreas — A possible intoxicated driver was reported at West St. Charles and Court streets.

8:43 p.m., Valley Springs — A possible intoxicated driver was reported on the 100 block of Highway 26.

11:32 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and on a local warrant at a business on the 100 block of West St. Charles Street.

1:02 p.m., Arnold — Robert James Ambrosini, 50, of the 800 block of Moran Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property and grand theft after an arrest at his home.
