TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

8:33 a.m., sexual offenses — Someone received a medical exam a few weeks ago and felt it was inappropriate.

11:43 a.m., traffic accidents — A non-injury accident was reported on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

12:57 p.m., lost property — Two bullets found on Elkin Street were booked for destruction.

4:08 p.m., traffic violations — A 27-year-old was cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and his vehicle impounded.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

8:30 a.m., Tuolumne — A vehicle on the 18500 block of Cedar Street was broken into. Sunglasses, CDs, headsets, an iPod, an iPod charger and change were stolen.

8:48 a.m., Columbia — A vacation home on the 21900 block of Gold Luck Mine Road was burglarized. A rifle, jewelry and possibly a pistol were stolen.

10:17 a.m., Sonora area — Three pairs of gold earrings and a gold nugget were stolen from a home on the 22000 block of Fallview Lane about two weeks ago.

1:38 p.m., Sonora area — A package was possibly stolen from a business on the 19000 block of Standard Road. The Post Office said it delivered the package but the business never received it.

2:08 p.m., Sonora area — Someone broke a window of a residence on the 19200 block of Overlook Drive. 

2:16 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said her husband was beating up their daughter on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle. Deputies were unable to locate a disturbance. 

3:25 p.m., Sonora area — A Suzuki motorcycle was stolen from outside a residence on the 20500 block of Gopher Drive. 

7:06 p.m., Tuolumne — A fire was reported on the 18800 block of Cherokee Road. 

TUESDAY

2 a.m., Columbia — Someone was arrested after an assault was reported on the 11600 block of Columbia College Drive. 

Felony bookings

MONDAY

1:30 p.m., Sonora area — Edward Emil Cooper, 23, of the 100 block of North Norlin Street, was booked on suspicion of recklessly evading a peace officer, driving on the wrong side of the road while evading a peace officer and committing a felony while released on bail after an arrest at Bradford and Norlin streets. He was also booked on misdemeanor charges of driving with a suspended license and violation of probation.

7:37 p.m., Tuolumne — Anthony Douglas Vonsetten, 22, of Sonora, was booked on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy to commit crime and a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after an arrest on the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road.

MONDAY

10:05 p.m., Groveland — Myron Alex Castaneda-Villanueva, 45. of the 800 block of Shady Oak Drive, Santa Rosa, was booked after an arrest on Tannahill Drive at Fountain Circle. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

8:06 a.m., Arnold — A hotel on the 2000 block of Highway 4 was burglarized.

1:20 p.m., Valley Springs — Fraud was reported at a business on the 100 block of Nove Way.

8:34 p.m., Valley Springs — A residence on Cox Drive was broken into and items were taken.

MONDAY

8:42 p.m., San Andreas — Patrick Ernest Dougherty, 47, of the 500 block of Russells Road, San Andreas, was booked after an arrest at Marshall and Mountain Ranch roads. 

Felony bookings

FRIDAY

4:55 p.m., San Andreas — Sabrina Louise Williams, 19, of the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road, was booked on suspicion of soliciting criminal acts and possession of drugs after an arrest on the 100 block of Court Street.

SATURDAY

5:16 p.m., Angels Camp — Chad Joseph Morrow, 32, of the 300 block of North Third Street, Oakdale, was booked on suspicion of violating probation and a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs after an arrest at Bragg Street and Bret Harte Road.

SUNDAY

2:33 p.m., Mountain Ranch — David Bruce Orvis, 24, of the 2000 block of Fifth Green Drive, Arnold, was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property after an arrest on the 16400 block of Armstrong Road. He was also booked on misdemeanor charges of vandalism, trespassing and obstructing a public officer.
