TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:21 a.m., vandalism — A garage window was broken on Orchard Avenue.

8:21 a.m., traffic violation — A 39-year-old man was cited on suspicion of driving without a license and warned for speeding.

8:46 a.m., traffic accident — A pickup truck backed into a vehicle on South Washington Street and caused damage. The parties exchanged information.

9:47 a.m., graffiti — Graffiti was reported behind a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

3:57 p.m., theft — A bicycle was stolen from a residence on South Washington Street.

3:50 p.m., vehicle theft — A woman loaned her vehicle to a neighbor Monday and the neighbor will not return it.

4:50 p.m., obstructing justice — A 33-year-old was arrested on suspicion of presenting false identification to a peace officer.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:31 a.m., Jamestown — A credit card was opened in someone’s name and $9,000 was charged.

9:50 a.m., Columbia — Someone attempted to break into a vehicle on the 27300 block of Italian Bar Road.

12:37 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said her neighbor has been illegally videotaping her and her property. The man had a camera on a tree to watch over his property.

1:16 p.m., Phoenix Lake — A woman on the 21100 block of Phoenix Lake Road left the combination to her safe on a table and medication was stolen from it.

5:49 p.m., Sonora area — A fraudulent check was written for $4,000.

6:03 p.m., Tuolumne — A necklace was taken from an unlocked truck on the 18500 block of Mastadon Mine Road.

8:52 p.m., Sonora area — A pitbull who was not up-to-date with shots bit a 1-year-old child in the face on the 19600 block of Serrano Road.

11:52 p.m., Jamestown — A drunk man tried to attack a 17-year-old boy who was taking the trash out on the 18100 block of Sixth Avenue. The man was gone when deputies arrived.

TUESDAY

2:07 p.m., Sonora area — Joshua Lee Connolly, 34, of the 6900 block of Old Miners Way, Mountain Ranch, was booked on suspicion of reckless evading, vandalism and theft or extortion of a motor vehicle on the 11000 block of Campo Seco Road.

WEDNESDAY

3:13 a.m., Sonora area — Kathleen Elizabeth Trosper, 21, a transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and false impersonation after an arrest on the 21000 block of Crystal Falls Drive. She was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of possession of stolen property and drug paraphernalia and on local warrants.

4:57 p.m., Sonora area — Marc Neil Bacon, 23, of an unknown address in Tuolumne, was booked on suspicion of transporting or selling narcotics after an arrest on the 18900 block of Black Oak Road.

7:22 p.m., Sonora area — Lotty Josephine Bailey, 19, a transient, was booked on suspicion of transporting or selling drugs after an arrest on the 18900 block of Black Oak Road.

8:07 p.m., Sonora area — Jacob Donald Sabins, 22, of the 16000 block of Hidden Valley Road, was booked on suspicion of violation of probation and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the 18900 block of Black Oak Road.

WEDNESDAY

4:15 a.m., Mono Vista — Samantha Elizabeth Williams, 31, of the 21800 block of Crystal Falls Drive, Soulsbyville,  was booked after an arrest on Crystal Falls Drive at Niagara River Drive.

 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

 

WEDNESDAY

9:30 a.m., San Andreas — Petty theft was reported on Russell Road.

10:12 a.m., Valley Springs — Battery was reported on Paradise Peak.

4:17 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on a warrant on Marshall Avenue.

WEDNESDAY

11:49 a.m., Rail Road Flat — Arthur Lee Anderson, 62, of the 900 block of Stanley Road, West Point, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs, carrying a concealed weapon inside a vehicle and committing or attempting a felony while in possession of a firearm after an arrest at Banner and Railroad Flat roads. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor drug charges and warrants.

11:55 p.m., Angels Camp — Johnny Albert Mortales, 37, of the 500 block of Fifth Street, West Sacramento, was booked after an arrest on the 300 block of North Main Street. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license.
