TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

2:05 p.m., warrant arrest — A 33-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor petty theft warrant.

2:09 p.m., traffic violation — A 19-year-old man was cited on suspicion of driving without a license, registration and proof of insurance on Mono Way. A 31-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and misdemeanor DUI warrant.

2:33 p.m., traffic accident — A vehicle drove off after hitting a bicyclist at Mono Way and Greenley Road. The bicyclist had minor injuries but declined medical treatment.

2:38 p.m., suspicious circumstance — A man saw an unfamiliar car in his neighbor’s driveway, which sped off when he attempted to confront the people inside. He called the homeowner, who said no one should have been at the house.

8:29 p.m., theft — Hockey gear was stolen from the bed of a truck parked at Cassina High School.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:41 a.m., Sonora area — A pressure washer and two power saws were stolen from a shed on the 24000 block of Oxbow Lane North.

10:36 a.m., Sonora Meadows — A computer, keyboard, mouse and recyclables were stolen from a house on the 16600 block of Creekside Drive while the tenant was on vacation.

12:21 p.m., Columbia — Two people left a hotel on the 22100 block of Parrotts Ferry Road without paying for their room.

2:44 p.m., Sonora area — The state apparently withdrew $2,083 from his account for court-ordered restitution from Fresno County. The court said they had mistaken him for someone with the same first name and date of birth.

3:16 p.m., Columbia — A home on the 11300 block of Damin Road was burglarized.

3:50 p.m., Sonora area — An accident was reported on the 16400 block of Tuolumne Road. The caller said it appeared there were no injuries.

4:02 p.m., Sonora area — A checkbook was stolen from the 20300 block of North Sunshine Road.

4:20 p.m., Columbia — A home on the 13000 block of Damin Road was burglarized.

4:48 p.m., Pinecrest — A 25-year-old man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication after an arrest on the 100 block of Dodge Ridge Road.

5:29 p.m., Tuolumne — Two bottles of prescription medication were taken from a home on the 18300 block of Yosemite Road.

5:36 p.m., Sonora area — A vehicle battery was stolen from the 8600 block of Highway 49.

6:38 p.m., Sonora area — A residence on the 20000 block of Chipmunk Road was burglarized.

6:58 p.m., Sonora area — A man left a tool box, tools, welder and other items at a residence on the 15000 block of Lakeside Drive while he was moving. The items have gone missing.

WEDNESDAY

12:02 p.m., Sonora area — Lauren Jean Colburn, 44, a transient, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury after an arrest on the 800 block of Mono Way.

2:09 p.m., Sonora area — Michael Ryan James, 29, of the 19800 block of Whitto Mine Road, was booked on suspicion of violation of probation, possession of stolen property and on local warrants.

2:51 p.m., Sonora — Courtney Leigh Powers, 22, of the 10500 block of Petticoat Junction, was booked on suspicion of violation of probation and possession of stolen property after an arrest at Green Street and Stockton Road.

11:49 p.m., Tuolumne — Donald Glen Qualls, 56, of the 400 block of Corson Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of possessing and transporting or selling drugs after an arrest on Cherokee Road.

11:49 p.m., Tuolumne — Elana Diane Siau, 43, of the 100 block of Roselawn Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of possessing and transporting or selling drugs, bringing alcohol or drugs into a prison or jail and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on Cherokee Road.

WEDNESDAY

4:55 p.m., Sonora area — Carol Ann Christensen, 50, of the 16500 block of Isom Lane, was booked after an arrest at her home. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor hit-and-run charge.

11:13 p.m., Sonora area — Michael Matthew Roden, 29, of the 17500 block of Route 5 Road, was booked after an arrest on the 800 block of Sanguinetti Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

10:17 a.m., Angels Camp — A woman said there was a grenade in her deceased brother’s storage unit on North Main Street. She was not sure if it was real.

1:20 p.m., Valley Springs — A window was broken at a residence on Heney Lane.

1:51 p.m., Arnold — A residence on Rawhide Drive was burglarized.

6:15 p.m., West Point — A residence on Bald Mountain Road was broken into through a sliding glass door.

6:28 p.m., San Andreas — A person on a dirt bike was damaging the grass at a ballpark on Park Drive.

8:51 p.m., Angels Camp — Donna Lynn Pasker, 64, of the 800 block of Utica Drive, Hathaway Pines, was booked after an arrest on the 500 block of South Main Street.

3:29 p.m., San Andreas — James Lacy Main, 29, of the 600 block of Railroad Flat Road, Rail Road Flat, was booked on suspicion of grand theft and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the 800 block of Mountain Ranch Road.
