TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

11:23 a.m., animal complaint — A rabid, injured fox was found behind the bleachers of Sonora High School.

1:35 p.m., lost property — A license plate to a box trailer fell off or was stolen.

2:42 p.m., fraud — Internet fraud was reported on Cielo Vista Way.

7:20 p.m., drug — A 27-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and warned for suspended vehicle registration on Stockton Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:06 a.m., Tuolumne — People have been stealing copper from a hotel construction site on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

10:02 a.m., Columbia — A girl was assaulted by a fellow student at Columbia Elementary School.

11:07 a.m., Columbia — A man was assaulted while walking on Big Hill and Borden roads and treated in an emergency room.

12:48 p.m., Sonora area — A brand new laptop was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 20900 block of Jamestown Road.

1:03 p.m., Jamestown — A lock was cut at a storage unit on the 17400 block of High School Road. A drum set, amp, dolls, clothing and other items were stolen.

1:15 p.m., Tuolumne — A Blackberry cellphone was stolen from Mono Way and Tuolumne Road.

2:44 p.m., Columbia — A man received a letter from a rental car service saying it located a fraudulent driver’s license and credit card in his name. 

5:08 p.m., Sonora area — A cellphone, GPS and other items were stolen from a vehicle on the 10800 block of Robinwood Lane.

7:09 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — People appeared to be doing a drug deal at a business on the 24500 block of Highway 108.

7:20 p.m., Tuolumne — A window was egged on the 18700 block of Cedar Street.

TUESDAY

9:30 p.m., Jamestown — Joseph Wayne Mott, 21, of the 200 block of G Street, Turlock, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on Highway 120, west of O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

9:36 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — Someone on East Center Street was cited for suspicion of grand theft and released.

9:57 a.m., Arnold — Grand theft was reported on Comanche Drive.

2:11 p.m., West Point — Identity theft was reported on Valentine Hill Drive.

3:21 p.m., Burson — Wire was stolen from a residence on Wade Lane.

4:35 p.m., Arnold — A residential burglary was reported on Tamarack Drive.

5:51 p.m., Valley Springs — Grand theft was reported on Baldwin Street.

TUESDAY

12:10 p.m., San Andreas — Jeri Lynn Silveira, 55, of the 4600 block of Hawver Road, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor charge of exhibiting a firearm after an arrest at her home. 

9:57 p.m., Angels Camp — Samantha Dolores Ramirez, 22, of the 600 block of Tuolumne Avenue, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana and narcotics after an arrest at her home. She was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drugs without a prescription.

10:22 p.m., Angels Camp — Robert Leon Epperly, 28, of the 1000 block of Stelte Court, was booked on suspicion of being a convict in possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of marijuana for sale and a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana after an arrest on the 600 block of Tuolumne Avenue.
