TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:41 a.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident was reported on Pesce Way.

12:36 p.m., graffiti — Someone removed graffiti from walls on West Church Street and reported it to the police.

1:56 p.m., theft — Medication was stolen from a residence on the 400 block of Greenley Road.

7:20 p.m., theft — Theft was reported on Theall Street.

SUNDAY

8:28 a.m., burglary — Items were taken from a garage on East Bald Mountain Road.

11:12 a.m., vandalism — A vehicle tire was damaged overnight on Snell Street.

6:48 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A small amount of marijuana was confiscated from two men sitting on a bench on Fairview Lane and booked for destruction.

5:17 p.m., traffic violation — A 52-year-old man was cited for driving without a license and proof of insurance.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:37 a.m., Sonora area — Prescriptions were stolen from a residence on the 19400 block of Serrano Road.

8:38 a.m., Sonora area — A toolbox, tools, floor jack and tire chains were stolen from the bed of a truck on the 16100 block of Big Hill Road.

10:40 a.m., Sonora area — An iPhone was stolen on Feb. 11 from a vehicle on the 13700 block of Mono Way. 

2:53 p.m., Sonora area — An employee of a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way said a man has been threatening him. The threats began about a month ago when the man’s wife returned a purchase.

6:02 p.m., Jamestown — A man reported that people on the Peoria Flat and New Peoria Flat roads were raising chickens for fighting purposes.

6:16 p.m., Columbia — Gasoline has been siphoned from vehicles at a business on the 22500 block of Parrotts Ferry Road over the past few weeks.

SATURDAY

12:17 p.m., Sonora area — A camera, jewelry and coins were stolen from a residence on the 16600 block of Atencio Court.

12:31 p.m., Sonora area — Someone picked up a man from a hotel on the 19500 block of Hess Avenue and drove him to a hotel in Modesto. The man wrote a check for $125 and closed the account before it was cashed.  

3:05 p.m., Groveland — A woman was out of town and got a call from a neighbor stating that two men were carrying several items out of her house on the 13000 block of Mueller Drive.

1:23 p.m., Sonora area — A garage and office on the 10600 block of Whiskey Creek were burglarized.

2:39 p.m., Jamestown — A storage unit on the 17400 block of High School Road was burglarized.

SATURDAY

1:45 p.m., Jamestown — Radiance Latrice Jones, 23, of the 3200 block of Buena Vista Avenue, Lemon Grove, was booked on suspicion of bringing alcohol or drugs into a prison, selling drugs to a prisoner and selling or transporting marijuana after an arrest at Sierra Conservation Center.

3:10 p.m., Jamestown — Terrell Moreno Jones, 31, of the 4100 block of Wilson Avenue, San Diego, was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs in a prison, bringing alcohol or drugs into a prison, selling drugs to a prisoner and transporting or selling marijuana after an arrest at Sierra Conservation Center.

SUNDAY

4:17 a.m., Sonora area — Jose Narcisco Jimenez, 40, of the 5200 block of South Street, Empire, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest on Tuolumne Road at Nugget Boulevard.

7:57 a.m., Sonora area — John Delbert Thompson, 49, of the 100 block of Lyons Street, was booked after an arrest on Stockton Road at South Washington Street.

SUNDAY

3:25 a.m., Sonora area — Francisco Gonzales Cisneros, 48, of the 1800 block of Lomarita Circle, Los Banos, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49.

10:52 a.m., Sonora area — Donald Luquez-Rodriguez, 40, of the 1000 block of Eden Avenue, San Jose, was booked after an arrest on Stockton Road. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of driving without a license and resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer or emergency technician.

5:15 p.m., Sonora area — Damien Andrew Wolfson, 19, of the 400 block of Jason Street, Manteca, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs resulting in bodily injury and with a prior conviction after an arrest on the 400 block of Greenley Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:43 a.m., Arnold — A residence on Meadowview Road was burglarized.

12:32 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A well on Quartz Mine Trail was damaged, possibly due to an attempted wire or pump theft.

4:44 p.m., Dorrington — An attempted break-in was reported at a residence on Highway 4.

4:48 p.m., Valley Springs — A residence on the 300 block of Sequoia Avenue was vandalized.

5:31 p.m., Valley Springs —  A possible drunk driver was reported at highways 12 and 26.

6:11 p.m., Dorrington — A residence on Highway 4 was burglarized.

8:55 p.m., Copperopolis — A residence on Sequoia Circle was vandalized.

9:32 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Valley Springs Elementary School.

10:50 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone was arrested on suspicion of a health and safety violation and trespassing at Daphne and Laurel streets.

11:22 p.m., Valley Springs — A fight was reported on the 200 block of West Highway 12.

11:34 p.m., Valley Springs — A fight was reported on Saint Andrews Drive.

SATURDAY

11:59 a.m., Arnold — Vandalism was reported on Manzanita Drive. 

1:45 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Someone was arrested after a fight on China Gulch Road and Church Street.

4:40 p.m., West Point — Grand theft was reported on Highway 26.

11 p.m., Arnold — People were setting off fireworks on Rocky Ridge Court.

SUNDAY

9:17 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Battery was reported on North Main Street.

12:28 p.m., Arnold — Someone was cited for trespassing on Meadowview Road.

4:49 p.m., Burson — Neighbors were running dirt bikes next to horse corrals, causing horses to run into fences.

3:55 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Sean Kelly O’Grady, 34, of the 8000 block of Doster Road, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty and manufacturing drugs after an arrest on the 4400 block of Costa Road.

SUNDAY

1:10 p.m., San Andreas — Harold Marvin Turner III, 46, of the 400 block of Gold Oak Drive, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs, driving under the influence of drugs and driving with a suspended license after an arrest on the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road.

10:30 p.m., Murphys — Sarah Deann Riley, 27, of the 500 block of North Algiers Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest on the 1600 block of Meadowview Drive.

SUNDAY

9:14 a.m., San Andreas — Stevie Machelle Mojarro, 28, of the 17000 block of Hermosa Road, Sunriver, Ore., was booked after an arrest on the 100 block of West Saint Charles Street. She was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of being under the influence of drugs and driving with a license suspended for a prior DUI.

2:45 a.m., Angels Camp — Samuel John Simons, 65, of the 200 block of A Street, Redwood City, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 and Foundry Lane.
