TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:49 a.m., vehicle theft — Someone tried to steal a vehicle at a Greenley Road apartment complex.

12:37 p.m., obstructing justice — A juvenile was arrested on North Washington Street on charges of disturbing the peace and resisting an officer.

1:10 p.m., theft — A .22-caliber firearm was taken from a residence sometime over the past year.

SATURDAY

8:27 a.m., vehicle theft — A vehicle was stolen at Terrace Avenue and East Lyons Street.

10:06 a.m., public intoxication — A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after causing a disturbance at a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

11:21 a.m., traffic accident — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center.

12:11 a.m., traffic accident — A minor injury traffic accident was reported on the 800 block of Mono Way.

1:03 p.m., warrant arrest — A 41-year-old woman was arrested on two local felony warrants on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road.

SUNDAY

2:40 a.m., burglary — A pharmacy on Fairview Lane was burglarized.

10:19 a.m., traffic accident — A rock wall in front of a business on the 900 block of South Washington Street was damaged during a hit-and-run.

2:15 p.m., public intoxication — A 46-year-old woman was booked on suspicion of indecent exposure and public intoxication after an arrest at Courthouse Square. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:54 a.m., Sonora area — Xanax was stolen from a man sometime within the past few weeks. He was unsure where they were taken from.

12:16 p.m., Sonora area — A man’s credit card was fraudulently charged.

1 p.m., Jamestown — A 57-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of battery after her husband reported that she attempted to break his arm.

1:09 p.m., Sonora area — A wheel and tire were stolen from a Toyota pickup truck on the 10600 block of Sunshine Hill Road.

2:22 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman was dealing pills from inside her vehicle on the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road.

3:51 p.m., Sonora area — A man’s social security number was fraudulently used for a tax return. 

4:22 p.m., Sonora area — A man was cutting brush on another person’s property so that he wouldn’t get hit by branches when riding his bike down the road.

5:43 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her neighbor was stealing her water by hooking a hose up to her house. The woman allowed the neighbor to use her water for a while but the timeline had passed. 

6:17 p.m., Jamestown — A man held a knife up to someone’s head twice but the victim did not press charges.

6:35 p.m., Jamestown — Guns, money and other items were taken from a residence on the 19200 block of Rawhide Road.

6:48 p.m., Jamestown — Hydrocodone was taken from a residence on the 10200 block of Preston Lane.

8:19 p.m., Groveland — A 17-year-old girl was assaulted with a candle holder at her friend’s house on the 19300 block of Ferretti Road.

10:12 p.m., Sonora area — A car window was smashed on the 19900 block of Greenley Road and items were taken.

SATURDAY

12:37 a.m., Jamestown — Someone was stealing water from Jamestown Cemetery.

6:01 p.m., Jamestown — A ring was stolen from a residence on the 18900 block of Golden Dove Lane.

6:36 p.m., Twain Harte — A home on the 24100 block of South Fork Road was burglarized and food was missing. 

7:53 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A man was assaulted with a cane during a fight on the 17700 block of Highway 120.

SUNDAY

12:33 a.m., Sonora area — A man was in the Sonora Regional Medical Center emergency room after being assaulted during a fight at Elsey Court and Mono Way. 

10:43 a.m., Sonora area — A man ordered a voltmeter for $120 on eBay and the package arrived at his home on the 21200 block of Phoenix Lake Road with nothing inside.

12:43 p.m., Jamestown — $140 was stolen out of a man’s wallet on the 18000 block of Sierra Avenue.

1:47 p.m., Sonora area — A cat was shot on the 14600 block of Mono Way but the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. 

6:17 p.m., Sonora area — Gas was siphoned from a vehicle on the 20300 block of Nashua Road.

SUNDAY

12:14 a.m., Twain Harte — Andrew Douglas Payne, 25, a transient, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary after an arrest at Twain Harte and Tiffeni drives.

12:29 a.m., Sonora area — Kyle Andrew New, 30, a transient, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and possession of drugs after an arrest on Mono Way at Highway 108. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. 

10:06 a.m., Sonora area — Clinton Charles McFadden, 42, of the 20300 block of Crow Court, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and stolen property after an arrest on the 20200 block of Grouse Way.

3:54 p.m., Sonora area — Robert Allan Throne, 39, of the 22100 block of Cadenza Drive, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana after an arrest at his home.

6:03 p.m., Twain Harte — Linda Marie Titus, 72, of the 18700 block of Mill Villa Drive, Jamestown, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108, west of Twain Harte Drive.

8:54 p.m., Jamestown — Arturo Mozqueda, 30, of Jamestown, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Fifth Street.

SATURDAY

1:39 a.m., West County — Marcus Quiles Ignacio, 25, of the 1500 block of Virlee Drive, Modesto, was booked after an arrest on Highway 120.

3:57 a.m., Columbia — Adam Rafael Jimenez, 25, of the 24400 block of Gun Sight Way, was booked after an arrest on Broadway Street.

7:30 p.m., Phoenix Lake— Joseph Anthony Rizzo, 52, of the 15500 block of Pasa De Los Robles Road, was booked after an arrest at Paseo De Los Portales and Phoenix Lake roads. He was also booked on suspicion of driving with a license suspended for a prior DUI.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:45 a.m., Valley Springs — A man was climbing a power pole on Dunn Road.

11:46 a.m., San Andreas — An arrest was made after students were fighting at Mountain Oaks School.

1:30 p.m., Valley Springs — A residence on Hartvickson Lane was burglarized.

1:44 p.m., Arnold — Illegal dumping was reported at Moran Road and Flanders Drive.

4:55 p.m., San Andreas — A customer spit at a teller at a bank on the 100 block of East Saint Charles Street.

7:23 p.m., Valley Springs — Deputies were out on a golf course on Highway 26 recovering a possible stolen golf cart.

8:48 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on suspicion of striking passing vehicles on East Saint Charles Street.

SATURDAY

12:10 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on suspicion of stealing a six pack of beverages from a business on the 400 block of West Saint Charles Street.

7:26 a.m., Burson — A vehicle was vandalized on Helisma Road.

8 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A residence on Ponderosa Way was burglarized.

10:43 a.m., Rail Road Flat — A residence on Prussian Hill Road was burglarized.

11:31 a.m., Valley Springs — A possible intoxicated driver was reported at highways 12 and 26.

1:16 p.m., San Andreas — A theft was reported on East Saint Charles Street.

2:03 a.m., Murphys — Driving under the influence was reported on Church Street.
