The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
THURSDAY 7:09 a.m., disorderly conduct — Two men got off a bus at South Washington Street and Restano Way and began fighting. One man had minor injuries but declined to press charges. The other man could not be located. 5:19 p.m., theft — A 61-year-old man was arrested and booked on suspicion of theft after stealing a cell phone from a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
THURSDAY 9:19 a.m., Strawberry — There was a disaster drill at Beardsley Reservoir. 2:21 p.m., Jamestown — A woman who appeared to have been beaten up was hiding in bushes on the 10600 block of Jim Brady Road. 3:52 p.m., Sonora area — A woman has allegedly been practicing law without a license. She reportedly has collected over $10,000. 4:50 p.m., Jamestown — Tools were stolen from a residence on the 16400 block of Stent Cut Off Road. 5 p.m., Twain Harte — The fuel line of a pickup truck parked on Maple and Laurel avenues was cut, resulting in $600 in damage. 6:38 p.m., Sonora area — A person sold an item on eBay and was paid through a bogus PayPal account. |
