TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:53 a.m., public intoxication — A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the first block of South Washington Street.

7:51 a.m., reckless driving — A driver ran a red light at Stockton Road.

12:28 a.m., reckless driving — A person was driving recklessly westbound on Stockton Road. 

3:45 p.m., theft — A 20-year-old was cited on suspicion of petty theft at Walmart on Sanguinetti Road. 

6:51 p.m., theft — A stop sign was taken from the 700 block of Mono Way.

10:58 p.m., disorderly conduct — People were doing burnouts and playing their stereos loud in a parking lot on School Street. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:09 a.m., Jamestown — People were tearing up a field on a property at Woods Way and Cemetery Lane with their truck. 

9:23 a.m., Jamestown — Three ladders were stolen from a property on the 14500 block of Lake Tulloch Dam Road last week.

3:08 p.m., Sonora area — Fraudulent charges totaling about $10,000 were made to a woman’s department store credit card.

3:43 p.m., Jamestown — A person’s debit card was used to purchase about $700 worth of items.

10:58 p.m., Groveland — A bus driver returned to Tenaya Elementary School after an away game and found that a fuel line to a bus had been cut. The school has had similar problems in the past.

TUESDAY

6:20 p.m., Jamestown — Roy Hartley Hurlbert, 58, a transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs, after an arrest at Main and Smoke streets. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering about a public toilet.

TUESDAY

12:20 a.m., Sonora area — Aaron Anderson Snelling, 20, of the 16900 block of Broken Pine Road, was booked after an arrest on Big Hill Road.

12:59 a.m., Sonora area — Sharon Yvonne Williams, 47, of the 11500 block of La Grange Road, was booked after an arrest on the 100 block of Hospital Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

11:22 a.m., Copperopolis — A fence was damaged by a neighbor’s vehicle.

1:14 p.m., Arnold — Tools and other materials were stolen from a worksite on Blagen Road.

3 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A residence on East Murray Creek Road was burglarized.

TUESDAY

2:15 p.m., Murphys — Kelly Jo Terry, 43, of the 700 block of North Algiers Street, was booked on suspicion of second degree burglary and petty theft with a prior felony conviction, after an arrest at Sierra Hills Market on Highway 4.

2:43 p.m., Angels Camp — Regina Lucia Gambino, 47, of the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road, was booked after an arrest at Highway 49 and Francis Street.
