Lillie Frances Forrester

May 13, 1927 — Nov. 24, 2012

Lillie Frances Forrester, of Sonora, died Nov. 24 at Avalon Care Center in Sonora. She was 86.

Mrs. Forrester was born May 13, 1927, in Madison County, Ala., the daughter of Willie Parker Stone and Cleo Stone.

She was a charge clerk in central supplies at a hospital in Riverside County for many years.

Her husband, Ernest E. Forrester, died on Nov. 24, 1988 at the age of 68.

Mrs. Forrester is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Peggie Sherrill, of Columbia, and Pam and Greg Taylor, of Sonora; three grandchildren, Dwaine Taylor, of Sonora, Telisa Sherrill, of Columbia, and Kevin Taylor, of Sonora; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Troy Taylor, of Sonora, and Donovan Raymond Dale Sherrill, Josephine Elizbeth Robicheaux and Lisbeth Nicole Luther, all of Columbia.

Services will be held at Corona Mortuary in Riverside County. 

Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home handled local arrangements.

Cora J. Plooster

Aug. 6, 1911 — Nov. 25, 2012

Cora J. Plooster died Nov. 25 at Sonora Regional Medical Center in Sonora. She was 101.

She was born in South Dakota and lived in Sonora for 14 years.

Mrs. Plooster was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Plooster, and son, James Plooster.

She is survived by one son, Daniel Plooster, of Twain Harte; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Burial will be private at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress, Orange County. 

No public services are planned.

CHIMENTE — Robert Chimente, 64, of Sonora, died Wednesday at Sonora Regional Medical Center. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

FABBRO — A celebration of life will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 13 at Lakemont Lodge in Arnold for Jessica Fabbro, 20, who died Nov. 18 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Avery. Angels Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

KRISMANITS — Services are scheduled for The Rev. Wolfgang Krismanits and his wife, LaDonn Krismanits, at 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapel in the Pines, 18580 Cherokee Drive, Twain Harte. St. James Anglican Church in Sonora will also have a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Sunday with Eric Menees, bishop of the San Joaquin Diocese based in Fresno, officiating. Both services will be followed by receptions. Burial will be private at Mountain Shadow Cemetery in Sonora. The Krismanitses died Tuesday in an automobile accident near Hollister. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

ROYCE — Arthur Royce, 92, of Sonora, died Thursday at Sonora Regional Medical Center. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
