TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

6:04 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said her wallet containing a debit card, ID card, checkbook, vouchers and about $1,000 cash was stolen from a diaper bag in her unlocked truck on the 16500 block of Sallander Drive.

6:56 a.m., Tuolumne — A residence was burglarized on the 19500 block of Marion Road.

7:03 a.m., Sonora area — A woman’s unlocked house was burglarized overnight and jewelry was taken on the 14500 block of Lake Vista Drive.

2:29 p.m., East Sonora — A woman stole items from a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

3:14 p.m., Sonora area — Unknown suspects from into a man’s house through his window on the 22100 block of Phoenix Lake Road and stole “lots” of items.

4:53 p.m., Sonora area — Someone stole a 40-year-old concrete donkey yard ornament from a woman’s house on the 19100 block of Hillsdale Drive.

SATURDAY

3:12 a.m., Jamestown — Sheriff’s deputies responded and took a report for vandalism on the 18100 block of Highway 108.

3:28 p.m., Columbia — A woman on the 10900 block of Green Street wired $200 to someone claiming to be her friend in Mexico, which she found out was a scam. She said she had sent the money on several other occasions as well. She was told by Western Union that whoever picked up the money had proper ID. The woman was advised that the Sheriff’s Office would not be able to further investigate the fraud because it occurred in a foreign country.

7:03 p.m., East Sonora — A 45-year-old man was arrested on the 13700 block of Mono Way on suspicion of public intoxication.

7:50 p.m., Sonora area — A residence on the 23900 block of Pack Trail Road was burglarized.

SUNDAY

1:05 a.m., East Sonora — A 26-year-old man and 35-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 14200 block of Mono Way.

3:59 p.m., East Sonora — Two women got into a fight outside of a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

8:32 p.m., East Sonora — Someone said that a man passed a fake $50 bill at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

FRIDAY

1:37 p.m., Sonora — Danny Lee Landman, 35 of the 400 block of North Stewart Street, was booked on suspicion of assault and false imprisonment, after an arrested on the 400 block of North Stewart Street.

11:15 p.m., Jamestown — Ayron Ross Okelsrud, 21, of the 19700 block of Rawhide Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest in the parking of an apartment complex on Preston Lane.

SATURDAY

2:01 p.m., Sierra Village — Brandon James Silva, 18, of the 18600 block of Highway 108, was booked on suspicion of burglary, vehicle theft, changing or altering the identification or serial number of a vehicle to offer for sale by fraud, arson, and a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license, after an arrest at his home.

2:58 p.m., Jamestown — Robert Leroy Kurts, 45, of the 18100 block of Sleepy Hollow Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of robbery and a misdemeanor charge of possessing a hypodermic needle, after an arrest on Main Street.

SUNDAY

11:46 a.m., Sonora — Morgan Xavier Larwick, 19, of the 25900 block of Scenic Drive, Long Barn, was booked on suspicion of grand theft, possessing stolen property and two misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear on theft charges, after an arrest at a business on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

SATURDAY

2:44 a.m., Sonora — Carrie Lynn Cope, 44, of the 21700 block of Crystal Lake Drive, was arrested at Highway 108 and Hess Avenue.

8:19 p.m., Jamestown — Richard Paul Torres, 29, of the 400 block of Toyon Avenue, San Jose, was arrested on O’Byrnes Ferry Road north of Highway 120. He was additionally booked on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

9:50 p.m., Jamestown — Dominique Deshaun Armstrong, 24, of the 1300 block of Buccaneer Court, was arrested on Highway 108 east of Chicken Ranch Road.

10:40 p.m., Jamestown — Jeremy Scott Cooney, 33, of the 12100 block of Chad Lane, Waterford, was arrested on Highway 49 south of Main Street.

SUNDAY

5:45 p.m., East Sonora — Rufino Roberto Ramos Jr., 32, of the 2000 block of 10th Street, Oakland, was arrested at Highway 108 and Via Este Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:28 a.m., burglary — Someone cut the barbed wire fence on the west side of a business on Stockton Road and stole 10 to 12 used radiators. Officers contacted the caller who did not want to file a report but asked for extra patrol in the area during the night.

3:54 p.m., theft — Someone stole the rear license plate of a man’s vehicle while he was in a movie theater on Sanguinetti Road.

SATURDAY

9:18 a.m., theft — A woman was notified by the U.S. Post Office on South Washington Street about a recent theft. She just received two packages but both had been torn open and clothing item was missing from one. She was advised by the post office to report the incident.

9:20 a.m., theft — Someone used a man’s debit card for more than $100 without his permission on Greenley Road.

10:02 a.m., traffic accidents — A vehicle crashed into a pole on Greenley Road and damaged it. PG&E was contacted to repair the pole. There were no reported injuries.

11:23 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man wearing a hospital gown and a medical band on his arm was near the library on Greenley Road hitchhiking. An officer located the man and confirmed with Sonora Regional Medical Center that he had signed to proper paperwork to be discharged. The officer transported the man to a gas station so he could find a ride back to Calaveras County.

5:12 p.m., animal complaints — A rattlesnake was spotted in a patch of grass on Fairview Lane. Officers arrived and removed the snake.

SUNDAY

5:21 p.m., public intoxication — A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after being found passed out on a bench in front of the stairs at Coffill Park on South Washington Street.

7:03 p.m., public intoxication — Someone said a 46-year-old woman purchased a can of alcohol at a gas station on Mono Way and opened it once she got outside. Officers located the woman and arrested her on suspicion of public intoxication.

Fire calls

THURSDAY

12:44 p.m., Soulsbyville — A 2000 Kia Sportage was damaged after it caught fire on the 20700 block of Longeway Road. A fire engine from Twain Harte responded and quickly extinguished the vehicle. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was undetermined. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000. California Highway Patrol was notified of the incident.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:03 a.m., Arnold — There was a call about graffiti at Blagen Road and Forest Road 7N08.

11:54 a.m., Copperopolis — Identity theft occurred on Shoreline Drive.

SATURDAY

12:39 a.m., Murphys — Someone said a man went into a business on Main Street and tried to start a fight.

4:03 a.m., Campo Seco — Someone saw a suspicious vehicle parked at the end of a driveway on Paloma Road. A man got out of the vehicle, walked up the driveway and yelled at the caller before running back to his vehicle and driving off.

1:02 p.m., San Andreas — Someone stole sock from a business on East St. Charles Street.

4:21 p.m., Murphys — A bicycle was stolen at Tom Bell Drive and Highway 4.

9:07 p.m., Murphys — Someone said there was a prowler or possibly a bear on Meadowview Road.

SUNDAY

12:45 a.m., Copperopolis — A truck’s tailgate was stolen at Lake Tulloch Resort on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

2:05 a.m., Murphys — There were about 20 people fighting in front of a bar on Big Trees Road, pushing and shoving each other.

9:47 a.m., Jenny Lind — There was a verbal altercation over dogs and goats on Opal Lane.

10:05 a.m., Murphys — A theft from a vehicle occurred on Jones Street.

11:40 a.m., Arnold — Someone climbed over a fence and stole items from a business on Oak Court.

MONDAY

7:19 a.m., San Andreas — Calaveras High School was burglarized.

7:52 a.m., Vallecito — A building was broken into and items were taken at a waste yard on Red Hill Access Road.

7:56 a.m., Burson — Several post office boxes were broken into at the post office on Highway 12.

10:17 a.m., Angels Camp — Stefanee Lynn Riley, 22, of the 3700 block of Alson Road, Fayettteville, N.C., was booked on suspicion of child endangerment, after an arrest at Birds Way and Main Street. 

11:16 a.m., Copperopolis — Bryan Michael Parden, 29, of the 1000 block of Bellingham Drive, San Jose, was booked for a felony warrant on suspicion of possessing drugs, after an arrest on O’Byrnes Ferry Road at the Calaveras County Line.

1:40 p.m., West Point — Nathan Dale Brooks, 22, of the 1300 block of Buena Vista Avenue, Stockton, was booked on suspicion of two sexual assault charges, after an arrest on the 200 block of Matson Lane.

7:30 p.m., Copperopolis — Rick Aron Chaves, 21,  of the 1200 block of Devonshire Avenue, San Leandro, was arrested on O’Byrnes Ferry Road north of Black Creek Drive.

2:03 a.m., Copperopolis — Tyler Jordan Bishop, 18, of the 41600 block of North Emerald Lake Drive, Anthem, Ariz., was arrested at Lake Tulloch Resort on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

2:52 a.m., Copperopolis — Carl Adam Alexander Price, 23, of the 800 block of Larkspur Drive, Tracy, was arrested on O’Byrnes Ferry Road south of Baker Street.

4:38 a.m., Valley Springs — Rhys Nicholas Williams, 24, of the 1100 block of Quail Oaks Road, was arrested at his home.
