Firefighters responded to a residential structure fire in the 1300 block of Kincaid Flat Road in Mountain Springs at about 11:40 this morning.
A spokeswoman for Cal Fire said the home was fully immersed in flames when firefighters arrived on scene. The fire spread into nearby vegetation and has burned less than a quarter of an acre.
There are no other homes or structures threatened, according to Cal Fire.
As of 2:00 this afternoon, firefighters are still on scene. A total of 10 fire engines and three water tenders responded. The responding agencies were Cal Fire, the Sonora Fire Department and the Jamestown Fire Department.
