TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

7:18 a.m., Soulsbyville — Several cars and a garage door were spray painted or keyed in the neighborhood of the 17100 block of Upper Starr King.

11:26 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone said people have taken down the boards from the doors and windows of an abandoned house on the 18400 block of Chestnut Avenue and are living inside or doing drugs inside the residence.  

11:47 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A woman on the 22000 block of Montgomery Road said she was defrauded of over $10,000 by people posing as Readers Digest and Homeland Security.

1 p.m., Cedar Ridge — Someone broke into a house on the 16600 block of Madrone Circle and stoke a washer, dryer, refrigerator and stove.

2:06 p.m., Jamestown — Two red reflectors were taken off a mailbox and post, and a steel W was taken from the front of a driveway on the 19200 block of Rawhide Road, 

4:28 p.m., Twain Harte — Jewelry was stolen from a residence on the 18000 block of Bonanza Drive sometime between July 21 and July 28.

5:15 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman came to the door of a residence at Sequoia Drive and East Avenue asking for money to send her daughter to church camp.

6:27 p.m., Lake Tulloch — A parked vehicle at the swim area near the Tulloch Lake Bridge on O’Byrnes Ferry Road was burglarized. An iPhone and GPS system were taken.

7:56 p.m., Sonora area — A vehicle was keyed, the roof was bashed in and the taillights were broken out while it was parked on the 10700 block of Bay Meadow Drive.

8:39 p.m., Sonora — Angela Michelle Means, 34, homeless, was arrested at Highway 108 west of Lime Kiln road on charges of possessing a controlled substance and controlled substance paraphernalia.

8:40 p.m., Sonora — John Kenneth Wilkinson, 50, of the 18100 block of Sixth Avenue in Jamestown, was arrested on Highway 108 west of Lime Kiln Road on charges of possessing a controlled substance and controlled substance paraphernalia.

MONDAY

1:43 a.m., Sonora — Michael Alan Davis, 46, of the 18700 block of Mill Villa Road, Jamestown, was arrested at Washington and Gold streets in Sonora.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

1:07 p.m., theft — A wallet was stolen at a business on Old Wards Ferry Road.

2:54 p.m., property damage — A tree limb went through the windshield of a vehicle at Cassina High School. 

3:15 p.m., theft — Two money bags with an approximate value of $300 to $400 were stolen from a business on South Washington Street.

5:38 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone reported an ice cream truck in the driveway of an apartment complex. The person operating the equipment “didn’t know how to count and the ice cream was warm.” The caller “believes they weren’t just there to sell ice cream.” 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Department reported the following:

MONDAY

11:30 a.m., Arnold — A burglary was reported at Oak Circle Community Church on Oak Circle.

12:32 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Theft from an open garage was reported on Easy Bird Road.

3:16 p.m., San Andreas — A vandalism was reported a Leonard Road and Old Stage Road.

5:11 p.m., San Andreas — Possibly intoxicated subjects were reported discharging firearms on Oak Street.

7:25 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — An arrest was made after a caller reported being pushed down an embankment on Highway 49 after a dispute over purchase of an appliance.

8:11 p.m., West Point — A caller on Lili Valley Circle reported hearing three shots fired in the woods.

TUESDAY

12:12 a.m., San Andreas — A verbal dispute over care of a canine was reported on East St. Charles Street.

7:51 a.m., Copperopolis — Vending machines were reported destroyed and money taken on Feather Drive.

8 a.m., San Andreas — An arrest was made after an officer pulled someone over for reckless driving on Pool Station Road.

8:15 p.m., Valley Springs — Criminal threats were reported at a business on Main Street.

MONDAY

3 a.m., Murphys — Michael Edward William Padgett, 28, of the 1500 block of Rawhide Road, Arnold, was arrested on Highway 4 east of Murphys.

8:37 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Sabrina Maxine Pinheiro, 38, of the 900 block of Vermont Avenue, Turlock, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and identity theft as well as misdemeanor charges of possessing drug paraphernalia, petty theft and being under the influence of drugs after an arrest on the 8000 block of Highway 49.

10:43 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Paulene Ann Sabelberg, 38, of the 5200 block of Stagecoach Hill, was booked on suspicion of damaging phone lines and misdemeanor charges of battery after an arrest at home.

6:45 a.m., Valley Springs — Michael Anthony Triano, 51, of the 2400 block of Blake Lane, was booked on suspicion of spousal abuse after an arrest at home.
