TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office Reported the following:

THURSDAY

7:34 a.m., Jamestown — Someone built a small fire on the campus of Jamestown Elementary School on the 18200 block of Fifth Avenue during the night. There were other indications that someone has been trespassing and possibly spending the night on the campus. 

9:42 a.m., Soulsbyville — A caller reported that a refrigerator and a pellet stove were stolen from their grandmother’s house on the 21100 block of Pokie Drive.

1:42 p.m., Groveland — The caretaker of the Divide Cemetery on the 11600 block of Memorial Drive reported that someone had stolen two gates during the night. The cost of the gates was $500.

1:49 p.m., Crystal Falls — Men were seen possibly dealing drugs from a gold Nissan car parked in front of a house on the 212000 block of American River Drive.

2:33 p.m., Groveland — A woman allowed her brother to take her car on Monday night, but on Tuesday night he was assaulted by three men at a saloon on the 18000 block of Main Street. The car was then driven away by the brother’s ex-girlfriend who apparently crashed it intentionally trying to damage it. 

3:49 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A man called authorities because he was upset about dividing property with other family members after his father’s death. The man’s brother was seen with a .45 caliber pistol on the 16600 Madrone Circle.

4:09 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18400 block of Main Street just found out her Social Security number lists her as deceased.

10:36 p.m., Standard — A small lock box was found on the roadside near Eagle Ridge Drive and Tuolumne Road. 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

7:10 a.m., Animal complaint — Five cats were left abandoned in a blue crate at Rotary Park on Woods Creek Drive, but someone had picked up the crate when an officer arrived.

1:32 p.m., Assault —  A person reported being assaulted downtown last night.

2:45 p.m., Assault — A woman was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center with injuries to her face after she was assaulted by a man. Police later arrested a suspect.

4:08 p.m., Disorderly conduct — Several people were fighting during a food giveaway at Courthouse Square on South Washington Street.

9:36 p.m., Theft — Two knives valued at approximately $300 were stolen from an address on South Barretta Street.

2:11 p.m., Sonora — Agustin Eugene Foster Jr, 18, of the 19900 block of Trace Road, was booked on suspicion of transporting or selling drugs and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:36 p.m., San Andreas — A theft was reported from a location on Mountain Ranch Road.

5:02 p.m., West Point — Firearms were discharged on Stanley Road.

THURSDAY

6:03 a.m., Vallecito — a burglary was reported at a transfer station on Red Hill Road.

10:21 a.m., Burson — A theft was reported on Oak Hollow Road.

1:08 p.m., Valley Springs — Antique coins were reported stolen on Baldwin Lane.

10:08 p.m., San Andreas — An assault was reported at Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital on Mountain Ranch Road.

THURSDAY

3:07 p.m., San Andreas — Jimmy Blake Terry, 25, 700 block of Algiers Street, Stockton, was booked on suspicion of felony parole violation after an arrest at the Calaveras County Jail.

6:59 p.m., Angels Camp — Anthony Paul Coffaney, 31, of Stockton, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and felony parole violation, as well as misdemeanor possession of a needle and drug paraphernalia after an arrest on Highway 4 at Waterman Creek.
