TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:12 a.m., Sonora area — A man on the 12800 block of Chukar Circle said someone slashed the tires on his vehicles.

9:33 a.m., Tuolumne — Equipment was stolen from a fenced construction yard at Fish Hatchery and Old Buchanan Mine roads.

10:47 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A theft occurred at a business on the 24900 block of Highway 108.

11:48 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 17000 block of Chicken Ranch Road said someone vandalized her car causing $2,000 worth of damage.

11:21 p.m., Columbia — Someone stole an iPod Touch worth $200 on the 22500 block of Upper Quail Mine Road.

WEDNESDAY

11:03 a.m., Twain Harte — Tammy Leigh Goulet, 45, and Walter Scott Osborn, 46, both of the 4500 block of Tully Road, Hughson, were booked on suspicion of conspiracy and possession of stolen property, after arrests on the 22600 block of Twain Harte Drive. Osborn was additionally booked on suspicion of vehicle theft.

8:21 p.m., East Sonora — Dena Marie Faris, 46, and Daniel James Stover, 41, both transient, were booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy, after arrests on the 13700 block of Mono Way. Stover was additionally booked on suspicion of resisting arrest.

WEDNESDAY

6:52 p.m., East Sonora — Jana Kay Sardella, 43, of the 11700 Ellinwood Acres Road, was arrested at Tuolumne Road and Mono Way.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

6:57 a.m., assault — A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery after fighting with another man on South Washington Street.

7:47 a.m., theft — A woman said someone stole her husband’s wallet after it fell out of his pocket in a parking lot on Mono Way.

9:57 p.m., public intoxication — A 21-year-old man was cited and released on suspicion of public intoxication near a business on South Washington Street.

10:21 p.m., trespassing — A 53-year-old man was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing when he allegedly refused to leave Sonora Regional Medical Center after being discharged.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

2:16 p.m., Murphys — A fraud report was taken for a possible scam on East Highway 4.

9:25 p.m., Arnold — A residence was burglarized on Augusta Drive.

WEDNESDAY

12:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Andrew Robert Bristow, 33, of the 100 block of Apple Blossom Drive, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of second-degree burglary, after an arrest at Highway 49 and Dogtown Road.

Fire calls

TUESDAY

11:13 a.m., Copperopolis — Nine acres of grass were burned on the 2000 block of Pommel Way. Cal Fire said the fire started from a riding lawnmower that was cutting dry grass. There no injuries and firefighters extinguished the blaze Wednesday morning.

WEDNESDAY

6:22 a.m., Copperopolis — The deck of a home on the 100 block of Blue Oak Court caught on fire. Copperopolis fire crews were able to extinguish the flames within about an hour. No other parts of the home were damaged. Fire Capt. Keith Cantrell said no one was injured and the home was unoccupied when the fire started. The cause is under investigation.
