The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:36 a.m., San Andreas — Hubcaps were stolen off a vehicle at San Andreas Elementary School.

12:19 p.m., Tamarack — A tractor was vandalized on Alpine Vista.

12:23 p.m., Arnold — A residence on Patricia Lane was burglarized.

THURSDAY

5:32 a.m., San Andreas — An arrest was made for public intoxication on Russell Road.

9:13 a.m., Valley Springs — John Cody Williams, 31, of the 4400 block of Baldwin Lane, was booked on suspicion of a felony parole violation, after an arrest at his home.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:12 a.m., Tuolumne — A man on the 18700 block of Main Street said he let a friend stay at his house while he was gone and the friend assaulted him when he returned home.

4:27 a.m., Columbia — A man wearing a jacket and no pants showed up at a residence on 21800 block of Sawmill Flat Road asking for a drink of water.

9:14 a.m., Tuolumne — A man on the 17900 block of Apple Colony Road said his uncle was scammed out of $199. He said his uncle got a call telling him he won a vehicle but he first needed to send the funds through an online money transfer site.

9:58 a.m., Moccasin — Someone at Hetch Hetchy Water and Power said a contractor’s toolbox was stolen from a building under construction.

11:11 a.m., Sonora area — A man noticed that someone attempted to pry open a window to a garage at a residence on the 20100 block of Woodchuck Road.

11:38 a.m., Columbia — A woman said someone tried to steal her 1971 Volkswagen Bus parked in her carport at her residence on the 12600 block of Big Hill Road.

1:19 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 20900 block of Shaws Flat Road said $429.50 in fraudulent charges were made to his debit card.

2:05 p.m., La Grange — Someone at Golden Lakes Charter School said four new tires were stolen out of a storage shed.

2:34 p.m., Jamestown — A vehicle was burglarized 16900 block of Chicken Ranch Road.

2:44 p.m., East Sonora — Someone was in custody on suspicion of return fraud at a store on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

10:25 p.m., Jamestown — A 46-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Golden Dove Lane and Silver Pine Drive.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

2:56 p.m., burglary — A shotgun and ammunition were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 600 block of South Washington Street.

4:21 p.m., fraudulent activities — A woman on Shaws Flat Road attempted to file her taxes but was denied because someone else had used her Social Security number.

4:40 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A 33-year-old man was arrested after officers received a report that he was sending taxi drivers out to purchase a large quantity of cans of air. Officers booked the man on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of toluene, a type of paint thinner, with intent to inhale and become intoxicated.

10:48 p.m., theft — A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked outside of a restaurant on South Washington Street.

WEDNESDAY

1:30 p.m., Jamestown — Three Jamestown residents were arrested on suspicion of various drug and weapons violations at a residence on the 8500 block of French Flat Road. Francisco Javier Hernandez, 24, and Heather Noel Roberts, 22, both of the 8500 block of French Flat Road, were booked on suspicion of drug possession for sale, illegal possession of a firearm, and being under the influence of a drug while in possession of a firearm. Timothy Bysshe Beenblossom, 23, of the 10600 block of Maple Valley Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession.
