TUOLUMNE COUNTY

    The  Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY
     7:52 a.m., Sonora area — A large tree branch was in the road at Jamestown and Racetrack roads.
    8:15 a.m., East Sonora — Two weed trimmers were missing from a business on the 14800 block of Mono Way.
    8:58 a.m., Columbia area — Numerous people were reportedly squatting on property on Upper Quail Mine Road near Covington Road, and cars were constantly coming and going.
    9:05 a.m., Jamestown area — A report that people were yelling, shots were fired and people were outside milling around turned out to be a couple and a friend shooting legally on their own property and talking loudly because they were wearing ear muffs.
    9:18 a.m., East Sonora — Cash and checks were stolen from a church on the 13800 block of Joshua Way.
    10:08 a.m., Jamestown — A man sent $2,475 to someone in Florida on Feb. 28 because he was told he would get $495,000 back overnight. He did not.
    10:27 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 12800 block of Honey Locust came into her bank and said she had sent money to someone and she needed more money since they were coming to her house today to bring her prize. A bank employee did not allow her to take more money out of her account and was concerned for her welfare.
    11:39 a.m., Sonora — A man causing a disturbance at the District Attorney’s office on the 400 block of North Washington Street was arrested by the Sonora Police Department on a trespassing charge.
    11:59 a.m., La Grange — The bank account of a resident of the 4100 block of La Grange Road was compromised for $800. The account has already been closed, and the bank said it would redeposit her money.
    12:56 p.m., Sonora — The Sheriff’s Office assisted the Sonora Police Department at Cassina High School with some teenagers who had mutilated a deceased cow.
    12:57 p.m., Soulsbyville area — When a man went to retrieve his Jeep, which had been parked for several years at a shop on El Ray Lane, the rims and tires were missing. The man who took them, thinking he had permission, returned the rims and said he would replace the tires as soon as possible.
    1:42 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10100 block of Peppermint Circle said she was gone for a week and returned home to find her television set, a DVD player with instructions and some chocolate chip cookies missing.
    2:47 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 17900 block of Garden Court said someone has been writing fraudulent checks on her account for a loss of $982.
    4:35 p.m., Columbia — A woman on the 11000 block of State Street arrived home to find someone had entered her residence and moved some things around but didn’t remove anything.
    9:34 p.m., Sonora area — A resident of the 13000 block of Covey Circle was gone for a week and arrived home to find her house had bee “trashed.”
    9:41 p.m., Jamestown — A dog on the 10700 block of Wigwam Road got into a man’s psychiatric medications and was acting drowsy and foaming at the mouth. The caller was transferred to poison control.

SATURDAY
    3:16 p.m., Soulsbyville — Someone on the 20600 block of Gaughen Court said a man came to the door of the residence and started looking through the windows. The man then walked around the house before leaving in a white truck that was parked around the block.
    6:34 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone said they saw a man in front of Summerville High School smoking marijuana.
    9:14 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 16600 block of Madrone Circle said someone tried to break into his house at about midnight the previous night. He found the door pried open.
    10:03 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 13700 block of Algerine Wards Ferry Road said someone driving a light-colored pickup truck threw eggs at her house two nights in a row.

SUNDAY
    8:41 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man on the 24300 block of Sugar Pine Road said someone let the air out of a tire on his vehicle.
    11:48 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 8400 block of Old Melones Dam Road said someone stole jewelry from her residence.
    12:57 p.m., East Sonora — A woman said someone threw eggs at her vehicle while she was in a store on the 13700 block of Mono Way.
    12:59 p.m., Strawberry — Someone said seven snowboards worth a total of about $2,500 were stolen from a vehicle parked outside of a hotel on the 30500 block of Old Strawberry Road.
    2:52 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone kicked in the back door of a vacation cabin on the 19800 block of August Court and burglarized it while the family was away at a ski resort.
    4:01 p.m., Sonora area — Someone said an unknown person pried open the door to a crawl space underneath a house on the 24200 block of Awahanee Road and tried to gain access to the home’s upper-level.
    10 p.m., Jamestown — A man said the window on his car was pried open and someone stole a car stereo, skateboard, musical equipment and a jacket, while the car was in a gravel parking lot at the intersection of Main and Willow streets.

FRIDAY
    12:04 a.m., Jamestown — Lisa Allison Raven, 45, of the 3000 block of South Gratton Road, Denair, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 16600 block of Highway 108.

SATURDAY
    3:16 p.m., Twain Harte — Jonathan Alvin Shrader, 26, of the 900 block of Twain Harte Drive, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive.

SUNDAY
    4:09 p.m., Sonora — Matthew Eugene Carlile, 30, of an unknown block on Main Street in Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property and selling or offering to sell a cane sword, after an arrest on the 400 block of Greenley Road.
    4:09 p.m., Sonora — Leah Katherine Summers, 32, of the 22600 block of North Tuolumne Road, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of transporting or selling drugs, after an arrest on the 400 block of Greenley Road.

    7:32 p.m., Twain Harte — Stephen Rocky Carothers, 60, of South Bear Clover Court, was arrested on Red Wing Trail at Little Fuller Road.

SATURDAY
    3:58 a.m.,  Jamestown — Steven Chanze Klups, 19, of the 16000 block of Third Street, Snelling, was arrested on Highway 108 at Chabroullian Lane.
    9:36 p.m., Jamestown — Zachary Joseph Rands, 25, of the 2700 block of Hampshire Lane, Modesto, was arrested on Highway 120 near Keystone Ranch.

SUNDAY
    4:06 a.m., Sonora area — Makayla Sue Raney Thompson, 21, of the 23000 block of Kewin Mill Road, was arrested on Kewin Mill Road near Comstock Ranch.
   
    The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
    11:16 a.m., assault — A woman at a business on South Washington Street said a man from a business next door assaulted her boss and made threats to kill her Tuesday in regard to the man’s missing dog.
    11:36 a.m., trespass — A 52-year-old man was arrested on a charge of trespassing after reportedly causing a disturbance  and refusing to leave the Tuolumne County District Attorney’s office on North Washington Street.
    1:24 p.m., threats — A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of making threats to a student and staff at Cassina High School on South Barretta Street.
    3:26 p.m., school assist — An officer was asked to take possession of several confiscated miscellaneous contraband items taken from students at Cassina High School over the past six months.
    5:57 p.m., theft — A resident of the Greenwood Village Apartments on Greenley Road reported the theft of gasoline form her vehicle. She said the gas cap was pried open, causing damage to the vehicle.

SATURDAY
    8:04 p.m., theft — A report was taken for theft of medication on Hospital Road.

SUNDAY
    1:43 a.m., public intoxication — A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in front of City Hall on North Washington Street.
    10:04 a.m., assault — A woman said she was the passenger in a vehicle on Saturday that pulled over to speak with a pedestrian. The pedestrian then allegedly punched her. Sonora police said the two have an “ongoing feud.”
    12:04 p.m., graffiti — There was graffiti found on the back of a building on the 800 block of East Mono Way.

    The Sheriff’s Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
    7:50 a.m., Valley Springs — An altercation with vandalism occurred on Daphne Street.
    8:48 a.m., Wilseyville — Vehicle batteries were stolen from Blizzard Mine Road.
    11:11 a.m., Burson — Wires and locks were damaged and fuel was stolen from Helisma Road.
    11:22 a.m., San Andreas — An iPhone was stolen on East St. Chartles Street.
    1:16 p.m.,  Arnold — A residential burglary occurred on Marti Drive.
    2:46 p.m., Angels Camp — A residential burglary occurred on Dogtown Road.
    9:23 p.m., San Andreas — An assault occurred on Main Street.

SATURDAY
    11:35 a.m., Arnold — A theft occurred on Fairway Drive.
    2:14 p.m., Murphys — A theft occurred on East Highway 4.
    2:32 p.m., Angels Camp — Someone said they saw men taking firewood from a neighbor’s property on Pinto Drive.
    9:21 p.m., Arnold — Firewood was stolen from a property on Patricia Lane.

SUNDAY
    2:23 p.m., Valley Springs — A burglary occurred on Quail Oaks Road.
    7:16 p.m., Valley Springs — A report was taken for identity theft on Hartvickson Lane.

    9:50 a.m., Murphys — Lee Edward Mayfield, 56, of  the 500 block of North Algiers Street, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on 600 block of Quail Trail.
    10:46 a.m., West Point — Wade Clinton Springer, 21, of the 2800 block of Egenhoff Lane, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 300 block of Stanley Road.

SUNDAY
    10:30 a.m., San Andreas — Joey Chavez Maldonado, 29, of the 500 block of Lewis Avenue, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.

    12:20 a.m., Rancho Calaveras — Robyn Leslie Madrid, 49, of the 6400 block of Bergsma Lane, Valley Springs, was arrested on Highway 26 at Milton Road.
    1:10 a.m., Rancho Calaveras — Andrew George Lingard, 25, of the 2800 block of Vista Del Lago, Valley Springs, was arrested on Baldwin Street north of Hartvickson Lane.
