Dan Isam must have had the Black Oak Lanes grooved perfectly to fit his bowling ball.
There were a whopping six 700 series bowled this past week and Isam recorded three.
Isam, bowling in the Jokers Wild league, rolled the highest 700 series— a 723.
Isam also rolled a 706 in High Rollers and a 701 in Monday Nevada.

Marty Pierce (Jokers Wild) scored a 722. Trini Mercado, Jr. (Gambler’s Getaway) rolled a 706 and Bob Thomas (Morning Rollers) rounded out the 700s with 701.
Rod Hirtzel was hot as he bowled a 287 in Early Birds which was “only” 116 pins over his average — and this is higher than his score of last week. He rolled 10 strikes in-a-row before the 1-2-8 got him.
Subbing in the Monday Nevada League as she sometimes does, Lynn Porovich had a sizzling 257/624, which was the high for women.
Bowling her highest game and series of the season so far in the youth league was Mo Ford with a 197/539 for the girls.
Kyle Myers led the way for the boys with a 214/562. Young William Fye, 7, bowled 84 pins over his average with a 246 series.
Other notable scores for this report: Monday Nevada — Dan Isam 259, Robert Porovich 688; High Rollers — John Rago 257, Dan Isam 256, Les Starks 667; Morning Rollers — Evelyn Lohr 574; Jokers Wild — Larry Blackmore 269, Steve Feola 258/690, Dan Isam 255; Umchu Full House — Kevin Flanagan 655, Amanda Klaahsen 607; Gambler’s Getaway — Jack Klein 652.

The monthly Black Oak Senior No-Tap had the following results (from two separate squads) for the women — Pat Wynne 836, El Anderson 826 and Laverne Cortesi 809.
For the men — Ralph Feola rolled an 841, Rod Hirtzel an 835 and Clarence Rogers an 831.
The Annual Senior No-Tap tournament is scheduled for Mar. 2 (which is already fully booked) and Mar. 9 which still has space available in both the 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. squads. For more information, call Black Oak Lanes at 928-9419.
