Expansion

    The Occasion Station Consignment and Thrift, at 18141 Main St., #4 in Jamestown, has expanded its business and is now offering furniture.
    Owned by Casie and Jim Schornick, the store also offers quality clothing for women, men and children, art, accessories, formal wear and more.
    The couple was married in September 2010 and they have four children. Casie, who was born and raised in Sonora, is the new lead singer of the band Chains Required.

    The Professional Referral Organization of Sonora hosts a business meeting at 7 a.m. every Tuesday at Perko's Cafe, 824 Mono Way, Sonora.
    The October guest speakers are: Jeff Higgs, AAA Wesco Carpet Cleaning, Oct. 4; Jan Moberg and Tamara Dockstader, of Horse SOS, Oct. 11; and Sherrene Barnard, of Sonora Subaru, Oct. 25.
    There will be a business forum Oct. 18.
