Mother Lode Bank’s Kraft

    Mother Lode Bank appointed Mark Kraft, owner and broker of Coldwell Banker — Mother Lode Real Estate in Twain Harte, to its board of directors.
    Born in Sonora, he attended Summerville Elementary School and Summerville High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Mesa State College.
    Kraft has been married to his wife Kris for more than 40 years. They have two children and five grandchildren.
    He is a member of the National and California Association of Realtors, past president of the Tuolumne County Association of Realtors and served on numerous local professional and charitable organizations.
    His appointment was jointly approved by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the State of California’s Department of Financial Institutions.

‘Fill the Bus’

    The Fashion Bug will have a “Fill the Bus” drive to collect school supplies to benefit local schools now through July 31 in The Junction shopping center.
    There will be a big bus at the store from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 16.
    On July 31, all the supplies collected will be packed up and delivered to schools throughout the community.
    Everyone who makes a donation will receive a Fashion Bug coupon to use on their next purchase.

Paper icons

    All Save Mart foods stores are selling paper icons for $1 through July 31 to raise funds for children’s hospitals in Central and Northern California and northern Nevada.
    Once purchased, the icons will be displayed in the stores.
    Last year, Save Mart customers and employees donated more than $130,000 to children’s hospitals when they shopped.
