Delores ‘Dee’ Cox Jan. 30, 1935 — June 29, 2009 Delores “Dee” Cox died June 29 at her Pine Mountain Lake home after a long illness. She was 74. She was born in Kansas City, Mo. She moved to California when she was 5 and was raised in Long Beach. She moved to Groveland 13 years ago from San Leandro. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband of 56 years, Tom Cox, of Pine Mountain Lake; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Catheren “Katie” Cox, of Livermore; her daughter, Kathryn Cox Rychel, of Livermore; and four grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. July 11 at the Pine Mountain Lake Country Club. Donations in her memory may be made to the ROOFBB Scholarship Fund, P.O. Catherine Mary Holbrook Aug. 29, 1931 — June 29, 2009 Catherine Mary Holbrook died June 29 at her Sonora residence. She was 77. Born in Johnson City, N.Y., she moved to Tuolumne County 16 years ago. She was a food service inventory supervisor for 10 years for Nugget Distributors in Stockton. Mrs. Holbrook was preceded in death by her son, Michael Barnes. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Barnes, of Stockton; a son, Robert Barnes, of Sierra Village; a sister, Viola Blankenship, of Missouri; two grandchildren, including Christopher Barnes, of Leland Meadows, whom she raised; and one great-grandchild. Services will be announced at a later date. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements. David Eugene Randall March 2, 1942 — June 20, 2009 David Eugene Randall died June 20 at his Jamestown home. He was 67. Mr. Randall was born in Bitely, Mich., and lived in Tuolumne County for the past 30 years. He owned and operated Pure Adrenaline Hobby Shop in Sonora and flew remote control airplanes as a hobby. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Randall, of Jamestown; his daughters, Elizabeth Randall, of Jamestown, and Dana Randall, of Bitely, Mich.; his son, Bryan Randall, of Bitely, Mich.; two stepchildren; four grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother. A memorial celebration of his life will be held at the Sonora Remote Control Flyers Club flying field at a later date. LAMARRA — Anthony Lamarra, 87, died June 29 at his Jamestown home. A service is scheduled for 1 p.m. July 11 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sonora.
